Really? A picture of a Marine yelling at his boss, disrespecting the chain of command and getting his knickers in a twist about a meaningless mistake is the "GREATEST" promo for the Marines ever?
Really?
Not the Marine Hymn? Not the many stories of courage and valor spread across 2+ centuries? Not the fairly good commercials they put out?
Not Sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima memorial in Arlington National Cemetary, where the Marine Corp Band, "The Commandants Own", plays and then the world famous Marine Corp Silent Drill Team performs?
This shitty little picture is the best Promo for the Marines ever?

Just out of curiosity, is that even a Marine uniform?
It doesn't look Marine to me, but what do I know.
I guess when every picture, story and quip is labeled "the greatest" its just a coverup for total mediocrity.
Anon: Looks close enough. There are several different uniforms, though.
Um, please remember that F. Lee Emery (who was indeed a Marine even though he also occasionally plays one in the movies, he was in Full Metal Jacket, or on TV), didn't have anything to do with this poster (anymore than Barack Obama did). Someone just found the pictures on the Web and pasted them into his lame poster.
Dull and poorly photoshopped. Typical rightwing humor fail. And no, it's not the "greatest" promo for the Marines by a long, long shot.
Typical, though, of conservatives to actually think that military personnel disrespecting the Commander in Chief was "the greatest" thing evah. If this had been created using GW Bush, instead of Obama, conservatives would've been outraged & screaming incessantly about "support the troops" and other similar meaningless b.s.
But now we have a *black* Pres, and guess what? Such crap is fantastic by conservatives.
