I am forwarding this to a lot of people, but I already know my democrat friends will immediately get turned off and will probably not finish reading it. 

 

We are in a world of trouble, and if Trump is not re-elected in November, then for the first time in my life I will be glad I am in my twilight years. God please be with our children and grandchildren.

 

This may be the best and most honest political promotion statement you will ever read. It decidedly does not brush objections aside.

 

You hate Biden? READ it. You hate Trump? READ it. You think there's no choice? READ it. And, read it with your grown-up hat on. 

READ THIS. Read every single word. It'll take you about three minutes. Be sure to read to the end.

 

We've all been dealt huge responsibility with this election. The first step toward accepting responsibility is accepting it, and the first step toward accepting it is recognizing it. 

 

Are you sickened and despondent with the current campaign and upcoming presidential election?

 

I consider myself a conservative and do truly believe our country is at a political/economic/moral/ social crossroads. I need to let you know I could/would never vote for Joe Biden to lead this country. To me, he represents everything that is wrong with our current political structure. On the flip side, I look and listen to Donald Trump and I cringe at every rude, insulting comment he makes.

A Message For Christians About Donald Trump:

 

Here's a famous joke about God and how he talks to us.

A deeply faithful Christian man is stuck on roof at home with massive flooding up to the 2nd floor. 

Rowboat comes. He says, "No, I'm waiting for God. I prayed and I know he's coming." 

2nd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God." 

3rd Rowboat. "No, I'm waiting for God."

Water rises. The man drowns. 

Now he's meeting God in heaven. The religious man says, "Where were you God? I prayed. I was faithful. I asked you to save me. Why would you abandon me?" 

God says, "Hey, I sent you 3 rowboats."

 

Did you ever consider Trump is our rowboat?

 

Maybe God is trying to tell us something important--that now is not the time for a "nice Christian guy" or a "gentleman" or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentlemen don't apply here. Maybe a gentleman and "all-around nice Christian" would lead us to slaughter.

 

Or do you want another Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, John McCain, Gerald Ford or Paul Ryan? Did any of them win? Did they lead the GOP to "the promised land?" Did they change the direction of America? No, because if you don't win, you have no say.

 

Paul Ryan couldn't even deliver his own state, Wisconsin!  Nice, but obedient. I mean Paul Ryan...not my dog. My dog is actually a pretty good defender and loyal.

 

Maybe God is knocking on your door loudly, but you're not listening.

 

Maybe God understands we need a "war leader" at this moment in time. 

 

Maybe God understands if we don't win this election, America is dead. It's over. The greatest nation in world history will be gone. Finished. Kaput. Adios.

 

And with one last breath, maybe what we need to save us at the last second, is someone different. Someone you haven't ever experienced before-- because you weren't raised in rough and tumble New York where nothing good gets accomplished unless you're combative, aggressive, outrageous, on offense at all times, and maybe just a tad arrogant too.

 

Someone with a personality you've never seen on stage at your church. Maybe, just maybe, being a nice gentlemanly Christian would not beat Biden and his billion dollars, and his best friends in the media who will unleash the dogs of hell upon the GOP nominee.

 

I guess you think God is only nice and gentlemanly. Really? Then you've missed the whole point of the Bible. When necessary, God is pretty tough. When necessary, God strikes with pain, death and destruction. When necessary, God inflicts vengeance.

 

Maybe you think God couldn't possibly be associated with someone like Trump. Trump is too vicious, rude and crude.

 

When we won WWII, was God "nice?" Were we gentlemanly when defeating Hitler? Were we gentlemanly when firebombing Germany? Were we gentlemanly when dropping atomic bombs on Japan ? Is God ever "nice" on the battlefield? Or does he send us vicious SOB's like General George S. Patton so the good guys can defeat evil?

 

It's pretty clear to me God sends unique people to be "war leaders." That's a different role than a pastor or church leader. God understands that.

 

And maybe it's time to re-define "nice." Maybe Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan aren't nice at all--because they led us to defeat. And losing again would mean the end of America . And God can't allow that. Maybe Romney and Ryan mean well, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Or maybe they're just jealous they had their chance and blew it. Maybe they'd rather help elect Biden than allow a Trump victory that would make them look weak, feckless and incompetent.

 

"Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint." (Isiah 40:30-31)

 

God is about miracles. We don't need a "nice guy" or a "gentleman" right now. It's the 4th quarter and we're losing 14-0. We need a miracle.

 

So let me repeat my message to Christians: 

"YOU'RE MISSING THE BOAT."

 

I believe Trump is our miracle. I believe Trump is our rowboat. Except he's more like a battleship!

 

No one is saying Trump is perfect. No one is saying Trump is a perfect conservative. But he is a patriot. He is a warrior. He is a capitalist. He is the right man, at the right time. Yes, he's a bit rude and crude and offensive. But that may make him the perfect warrior to save America, American exceptionalism, capitalism and Judeo-Christian values. The choice should be easy for Christians.

 

It's Trump...or it's the end of the American dream.

A newspaper stated that some Muslim doctor is saying we are profiling him because he has been checked three times while getting on an airplane.

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your colour and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favourite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

 
The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists.  But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter MORE of the same good neighbours and children?

The events of September 11 changed the answer.. It is not MY responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.


 
I want to know, I DEMAND to know and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America ..... Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation; that He will protect it and let it prosper? Or do you pray that Allah will destroy it in one of your Jihads? Are you thankful for the freedom that this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America?? If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions YOU are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America. Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent, because I worry about who you regard as innocent.... No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks, because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy; I am interested only in action. What will you do for America - our great country - at this time of crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting 'Allah Bless America'. I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money, time and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole.

The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC  attack. Many of these people live and socialize right now in Muslim communities. You know them. You know where they are. Hand them over to us, NOW! But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the  streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing 'leaders' like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat.

IF the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people, then I want chapter and  verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good, pure, and  true, when your 'leaders' ARE teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance? It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if huge numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us -- our rights under the greatest constitution in the world. I want to know where every Arab Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to DEMAND it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family.


 
I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbour, my friend, as a fellow American...... But there can be no grey areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance, and it is up to YOU, to  show ME, where YOU stand. Until then, "YOU  WORRY ME!"

I  totally agree with this sentiment. I hope you will forget all about the 'political  correctness' mandate we've had rammed down our throats, and see if this doesn't ring true in your heart and mind. For Canada, with all the multiculturalism we've been told is so important....why should we not, as Canadians, expect that the millions of new people immigrating to our country will show their love for our country, their allegiance to our country, their willingness to obey the laws of our country, and acceptance that we are a Christian country? Just because they are able to enjoy exercising their own religion, they should NOT expect us to be ashamed of ours. They knew Canada
 was a Christian country when they came here. Why are we erasing Christianity because immigrants who are unwilling to adopt our way of life expect us to? There is just too much insanity in the world, and we have to start taking a stand. I hope you will forward this, so that others will feel they are not alone if they are starting to feel the same.

 
BRITISH COMMENTS: At last a clear non-racist example of the concerns that the vast majority of our Nations population probably share. The pilot's letter encapsulates all that is fair and just about national pride and protection of one's national culture. I fear it may be too late here in UK, BUT we too want our country back in the form that attracted all these different cultures to come here in the first place!! In all our conversations with a wide range of friends and acquaintances we have not met one that disagrees with our own views. If only we all had the courage of our convictions to pass this on, it is a statement that should be accepted as the heart-felt feelings of someone with honest commendable national pride.

Army lifts ban on cutters, mentally ill and drug abusers to meet recruiting goals

Facing low recruitment levels, the U.S. Army quietly lifted its ban on allowing people with a history of mental illness, self-mutilation and drug abuse to serve in the military – despite warnings from the industry about the risks involved.
The new rules green-light recruits who have bipolar disorder, depression and issues with cutting – a process in which a person takes a knife or razor to his or her own skin – along with those who bite, hit or bruise themselves intentionally.
“I am shocked,” Craig Bryan, executive director of the National Center for Veterans Studies at The University of Utah, told Fox News. “This contradicts everything we have been working toward for the past 10-to-15 years.”

Bryan says there is strong evidence to indicate self-injury is a “stepping stone to suicide” and is “the single strongest predictor of suicidal behavior.”
The Army signed off on the new policy in August but never announced it, according to USA Today, which first reported the news.
The decision to lift restrictions comes as the military looks like it will miss its goal of recruiting 80,000 new soldiers through September 2018.
In order to hit last year’s goal of 69,000 recruits, the Army also accepted men and women who did poorly on aptitude tests, increased the number of waivers for pot use and offered hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses.
In fiscal year 2017, it paid out $424 million in bonuses, up from $284 million in 2016. In 2014, that figure was $8.2 million. According to USA Today, some of the recruits qualified for bonuses of $40,000.
When it comes to mental health, recruits who would have previously been barred can submit waivers allowing them to sign up.
The change reverses an eight-year ban on the wavers following a spike of suicides.
The move is especially troubling following the Texas church massacre a week ago, in which 26 people were killed and another 20 injured when Devin Patrick Kelley, a veteran with a history of psychiatric problems, opened fire inside the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs.
Following the deadly episode, it was revealed that Kelley made death threats against his superiors and escaped from a mental hospital during his stint in the Air Force.

Kelley was kicked out of the military and later ran away from a mental institution.
Army spokesman Lt. Col. Randy Taylor says the waiver expansion was possible because the government has more access to applicants’ medical records.
“These records allow Army officials to better document applicant medical histories,” he said – but adds that the “waivers are not considered lightly.”
Dr. Joel Dvoskin, a clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the University of Arizona's Department of Psychiatry, told Fox News he believes lifting the ban is a step in the right direction.
“The label of mental illness is meaningless,” he said. “There are a ton of people who have a history of something – some kind of emotional trouble – and they are fine. There is no reason in the world they couldn’t serve in the military.”
He added, “Stereotypes are pretty evil all the way around. Because of the stigma (of mental illness), we stereotype them.”
Dvoskin said in some cases, mental illness might make would-be soldiers “tougher and better” as the result. 
But some say accepting recruits with mental health conditions – specifically cutting - puts others at risk, especially in high-pressure situations in the field.  
“Is it a red flag,” Elspeth Ritchie, a psychiatrist who retired from the Army in 2010, said. “The question is, how much of a red flag is it?”
According to the Army, recruits with a history of self-mutilation must provide documentation that includes a detailed statement from the applicant, medical records, photos submitted by the recruiter and a psych evaluation.
The Army says the burden of proof will be on the applicant to provide a case why a waiver should be considered.

Even the fire fighters that were near the cross as it was surrounded with flames, said it was going to be destroyed. The next day, Gene Blevins (photographer) went back to the scene to get some more shots. He saw that the cross was not even touched or scorched from the heat.

The beginning is always a good place to start, and our republic begins on July 4, 1776, with those familiar words, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” 
Thomas Jefferson was tasked by the Continental Congress with the work of setting out the grievances against the king of Great Britain that had made it necessary to dissolve the political bonds that had, until that moment, connected the American colonies to England. In drafting the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson drew heavily from the work of John Locke, whose book, Two Treatises of Government (1689), could not have been written without the Reformation, which had started less than two centuries earlier in 1517.
Locke’s First Treatise attacks the understanding that civil society is founded on a beneficent patriarchalism justified by an appeal to the divine right of kings to rule. His Second Treatise articulated a theory of civil society that is based instead on the equality of persons and on the mutual rights and obligations implied in a contract between the ruler and subjects to protect their lives, liberties and property. These foundational ideas of the equality of persons and of government by leaders whose authority is derived from the free consent of those governed are direct consequences of the religious convictions that inspired and sustained the Reformation.
The Reformation began with concerns about how the Church was managing its life and relationship with the faithful and with the state. When Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door for discussion, the internet of his day, he had no idea how far-reaching his actions and those of his fellow reformers would be, for they were not only addressing issues of teaching and doctrine, but setting into motion revolutionary ideas about person-hood and society.
When Luther challenged the abuses in the church’s life and practice he did so from the position that flawed humanity can only be made right with God and with each other through God’s own reconciling initiative that we call grace. The reformers believed that every individual had equal access to the liberating freedom from sin and death and to the life of love and service that Christ offered to all, because every person was created by and could be redeemed by God.
Every person then, was deemed competent to engage these important truths without mediation by king, bishop or priest. The Church was a gathered community of free persons choosing to associate on the basis of shared beliefs and commitments, creating a priesthood not of individuals but of all believers.
Luther’s personal courage in the face of great pressure to abandon his challenge to the church’s status quo centralized the sanctity and liberty of individual conscience, as he famously said “I cannot and will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God.”
The understanding of the individual as the primary building block of civil society and moral community, and of freedom as a component of the religious, political and social identity of human beings would create the social and political structures that over time would become the foundation of the modern democratic traditions on which the free societies of Europe and North America would rest.

 immigrated to this country, and I was raised in a small town in Southern
 Indiana in a big family with a cornfield in the backyard. Although we
 weren’t really a political family, the heroes of my youth were President
 John F. Kennedy and the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”*

 contest in the fifth grade.*

  Pence graduated from Columbus North High School in 1977 and went on to
 study history at Hanover College. Throughout his childhood, Pence always
 clung to his faith and had even considered becoming a priest. But in
 college, his faith wavered and he eventually decided to turn his back on

  The handsome young man had given up on religion, but that didn’t stop God’s
 powerful plan for his life. And it wasn’t long before Pence was surrounded
 by devout Christians who reminded him of the faith he once clung to.

  the life-changing day he told his fraternity “big brother” that he’d love
 to get a Christian cross like the one he wore. His friend’s unexpected
 response left such a powerful impression, Pence would recall it decades
 later on the floor of Congress.

  *“Remember, Mike, you have got to wear it in your heart before you wear it
 around your neck,” Mr. Pence said his fraternity brother told him.*

 
  His friend’s convicting message resonated with Pence and months later, he
 found himself at a Christian music festival. It was there that Pence was
 again was reminded of the Gospel and all that “Jesus had done” for him.
 That sermon finally led Pence to take action.

  Pence went on to earn a bachelor of arts degree in history from Hanover
 College in 1981, and a law degree from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law
 in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1986. But for Pence, rededicating his life to
 Jesus Christ wasn’t the only blessing that came out of college.

  Soon after making the decision to follow Christ, a young musician at church
 by the name of Karen caught young Pence’s attention.

  After service one Sunday, Pence approached Karen and discovered that he
 went to law school with her sister. A few days later, Pence went to the
 registrar to look up Karen’s sister to get “the scoop” on the pretty
 guitarist. At first, the registrar refused. But when Pence explained why he
 wanted the number, the registrar gave in.

  Mike called the phone number for Karen’s sister — but to his complete
 shock, Karen answered instead. Pence was so surprised, he accidentally hung
 up on her. Pence took a few moments to collect himself and redialed —
 eventually inviting Karen out to dinner.

  Their adorable first date included ice skating and family, and a “bet” that
 the pair would eventually get married.

  That night, Karen’s 10-year-old niece bet Pence $1 that he would marry her
 aunt.

  That little girl eventually won the bet. And the registrar who made it all
 possible attended their wedding on June 8, 1985.

  This year, Mike and Karen celebrated 31 years of wedded bliss — and as
 their new role in America approaches, the Pence family remains a united
 front.

 colors. The three children have been incredibly supportive of their dad’s

  Mike Pence is a proud supporter of our troops. Especially due to the fact

  Pence’s eldest daughter, Charlotte is a filmmaker and a writer. According

  The youngest of the Pence family, Audrey Pence, is a social liberal. She’s
 independent politically and has voted split ticket in elections. But
 despite the fact that they don’t share the same views, her dad has been
 proud of her for thinking independently — and she voted for him in the
 Indiana governor election.
