Fw: FW: PLEASE FORWARD AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Subject: Fw: FW: PLEASE FORWARD AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Looks Good. Probably never happen but it should!

PLEASE FORWARD AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Please read and act, only takes a minute!
On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a
two-page amendment that would
require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new
government-run health plan.

It took me less than a minute to sign up
to require our congressmen and senators to drink at the same trough!

Three cheers for Congressman John Fleming of Louisiana !
Congressman John Fleming ( Louisiana physician) has proposed an
amendment that would require congressmen and senators to take the same
healthcare plan they force on us (under proposed legislation they are
curiously exempt).

Congressman Fleming is encouraging people to go on his Website and
sign his petition (very simple - just email).

I have
immediately done just that at:
http://fleming.house.gov/index.cfm?sectionid=55iontree=29,55

Please urge as many people as you can to do the same!

If Congress forces this on the American people, the Congress should
have to accept the same level of health care for themselves and their families.
To do otherwise is the height of hypocrisy!
Please pass this on!!.

I'm actually fine with Congress requiring itself to enroll in a public option. Because naturally that means that there will be a public option!

But again, I'm sick and tired of this legislation being misinterpreted as a "government takeover" of healthcare that is being "forced" on people. Private insurance is not going away. No one will be forced to switch insurance plans. Grow up and stop whining!

Agree with Anon. I'm totally fine with all gov't workers, including Congress, to use the public option. This is just another ruse to make the public option sound horrid and terrible.

Per usual, a lot of money is being spent by Big Insurance to spread lies, rumors and innuendos to make HCR (which is likely now not going to happen with some very dire consequences) seem like something it's not.

So. Tired. Of. The. Lies.

How about we force our representatives to buy their own over-priced corporate plans at market rate, with no help from the tax-payers, and see if that gets their asses in gear to get us a public option?

How about we force the Pres and everyone in Congress, plus all of the Cabinet, their staffs, and the big-time heads of Fed Govt Departments to go without ANY health insurance at all, plus no money ever from any lobbyists?? They all still make a lot of money in comparison to average peons, uh, serfs, uh citizens.

Let them just pay for their health care needs, like 50 million US serfs do, and let's see how well that works out for them.

Believe me, if I could somehow direct how my taxes get spent, the first thing that would go is paying for the health care benefits of these corporate swine now feeding at the trough of Big Ins mammon.
