The Queen of Transparency!

I laughed at the 2nd panel, because Hillary looks so damned high.

I wonder what Sack thinks of Dick Cheney's lack of transparency?

We could just as well had a frame where she talked about how she strangles kittens. It would have been just as accurate as the rest of this cartoon.

I've got plenty of gripes with Hillary, and she likely won't get my vote, should she be the nominee, but the Right's obsession with her is...disturbing.

Voted for Bubba in 1992 - first and last time I will vote for a Clinton for any public office, including dog catcher.

That said, this is just a stupid distraction from what the real issues are with HRC not using proper email channels. Typical 1% framing to distract the rubes by ginning up dumb emotional responses while evading the real issues of transparency in government.

Typical of you RWD. Easily satisfied with mush and pablum.

gruaud - Why the deflection?

CharlieE - Who gives a shit about "your vote"?

Frankly, whom you vote for won't make one iota of a difference.

Wake up, ChatlieE, you're being played if you actually think your vote is that important.

ferschitz - But, don't you miss that BOOMING stock market under Slick Willy? I thought you and your wildly successful "progressive" buddies on here were very shrewd/wise investors in the stock market.

What gives?

The only reason the stock market boomed under WJC was that he signed the Telecom Act of 1996 which started the Internet boom and did a lot of good things but at the same time was a self-fufilling prophecy that was doomed on a couple of levels but lasted a few years and made a lot of people a lot of money. Then like all bubbles the shit eventually hit the fan and most of the upstart companies went out of business. Cisco, Alcatel, Lucent all lost a ton of money but recovered but Nortel went out of business from the beating they took (along with subsequent cooking of books). I remember seeing people I had met with from some of these companies sacking groceries in like 2001. I remember driving by campus parking lots that you used to have to park 1/4 mile away becuase they were so full down to a dozen cars and "For Lease" signs on them. I remember inverviewing for a job with one of the startups. They showed me their product and it was impressive but then the big question I asked was how many customers they had. Answer - zero...but hey they had a lot of carriers interested. Yeah...the same ones that were going to be broke and out of business a couple years later. I ran away but had a nice 2 day trip to Silicon Valley on their dime.

Clinton signed the repeal of Glass-Steagall which arguably led to the 2008 crash (and Dodd-Frank has done virtually nothing to repair the damage). Clinton signed NAFTA into law on the promises of "more US jobs," which was/is a crock of sh*t, as it led to much off-shoring of US jobs.

The list could to on. I was smart enough to see the dot.com bubble for what it was (being in IT and, like Agent86, being aware of how many of the dot.com companies really were paper thin in terms of making real money) and invested my money elsewhere.

I have an acquaintance who made out like a bandit from the dot.com boom and "retired" in her early 30s on her loot. Nice for her, but the crash of 2008 left her for bust. She had to quick do some real training and managed to find a new job but for much less salary than previously.

The Clinton chimera was just that: funny money & a bunch of bait 'n switch. Wall St has always been a Casino, and everyone who has half a brain realizes that the House always wins.

Hillary is in bed big-time with Wall St, the Banks and the Hedge Fund Oligarchs, just like O'Bomber, plus she's an old-school Goldwater Republican and giant NeoCon War Hawk. Nothing's going to change under HRC, and with O'Bomber about to get TPP rammed through Congress, hang onto your hats cuz the ride's about to get a lot bumpier.

Ordinarily, I'd suggest that personal attacks are beneath you, but you demonstrate, day in and day out, that they are instead your stock in trade. How small.

Votes count. See: Florida, 2000.

Mike Hawk said...

@ CharlieE: Hell, in Flori-duh, they didn't even bother to count those "hanging chad" ballots....they threw! them out.

So again, I repeat, your vote doesn't even count, fool!!!!

You fool, you just strengthened my argument.

What mattered in 2000 is that Jeb assured his lil' nit-wit alcoholic brother a fraudulent win.

End of story.
