FW: This is my country!

Let me make this perfectly clear!

THIS IS MY COUNTRY!

And, because I make this statement

DOES NOT mean I'm against immigration!!!

YOU ARE WELCOME HERE IN MY COUNTRY.

Welcome to come through like everyone else has.

Get a sponsor!

Get a place to lay your head!

Get a job!

Live by OUR rules!

Pay YOUR taxes!

And

LEARN THE LANGUAGE LIKE ALL OTHER

IMMIGRANTS HAVE IN THE PAST!!!

AND PLEASE DON'T DEMAND THAT WE HAND OVER OUR

LIFETIME SAVINGS OF SOCIAL SECURITY FUNDS TO YOU

TO MAKE UP FOR ''YOUR'' LOSSES.

If you don't want to forward this for fear of offending someone,

then YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!

When will AMERICAN'S STOP giving away THEIR RIGHTS???

We've gone so far the other way ... bent over backwards not to

offend anyone. But it seems no one cares about the AMERICAN

that's being offended!

WAKE UP America !!!

If you agree ... pass this on.

if you don't agree ... delete it!!!

Most Mexican immigrants I know have more than one job.

As for "learn English like all the other immigrants did", my understanding of ethnic immigrant groups in New York City in the 20th century, the Irish, Italians, Russian Jews, etc., did not always learn English, so that's why there formed all these little neighborhoods of people who spoke the same language (wow, kind of like today in big cities like NYC and SF).

But their kids all learned English and sometimes the kids didn't learn the language of their parents because their parents only spoke English to them so they would fit into America better. Which I think is a shame because the kids would have been better off knowing another language as well as English, but I guess that kind of immigration story would bring a tear to the eye of the kind of person who wants to stamp out all the "non-Whitey" culture in America, like the letter writer.

NOT YOURS, except those southern states that we stole from you.
