Fwd: State by state detailed infographics on how much illegals burden you

Subject: FW: Fwd: State by state detailed info-graphics on how much illegals burden you

Doesn’t Georgia have any illegal aliens?

State by state detailed info-graphics on how much illegals burden you
Very sad!
This is mind-boggling.   Click on any state (as listed below) to see the effect that illegals are having on that state.  It is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with quickly.   Hang on to this and pass it on to your FederalSenators and House Representatives.

No wonder the state treasury coffers are bare and every governor wants to raise taxes.  CT is basically flat broke.  Check-out the numbers for California.

We’ve known for a some time many illegals don’t pay taxes.  They work for cash, yet they get a lot of government handouts like food stamps, cell phones, schooling, medical, utilities, rent, etc. We are taking better care of illegals than a very large number of American citizens who are in actual need of assistance.

This is a KKK side-group.

I'm sure there are some immigrants who "work for cash," just as there are some Americans who do. But you talk to most business owners. They're not paying people under the table in cash, no matter where those people come from.

So yes, immigrants, whether documents or otherwise, are paying taxes. Even this semi-mythical immigrant who "works for cash" is paying sales tax and other taxes.

Even if most illegals were working for under-the-table cash, how do they buy consumer goods without paying taxes on them?

How do they buy gasoline without paying tax on it?

How do they pay rent without providing money for the landlord to pay property taxes?

Many illegals work for proper paychecks, using fake Social Security numbers. That means they're paying Social Security taxes for which they'll never receive anything in return.

Not only are many undocumented workers paying into Soc Security, for which they may never get a dime back, but it's ditto for Medicare.

The biggest issue that downgraded work for most US citizens is the slow and steady decline of Unions and union jobs in this country. It's true that some unions have done a lousy job and/or are/were corrupt, etc.

But unionized labor was where many citizens with just high school diploma got good-paying jobs with benefits that enabled them to save for their kids' college, their own retirements and lead a nice life style.

RWD is persistently misled to blame "illegals" for a lot of his lack of work "woes," when, in fact, per usual it's the 1% who broke the back of the unions (and managed to convince RWD that they were "bad"), while off-shoring good jobs to third world countries. It's not the undocumented workers in this nation that are stealing RWD's "good jobs." Many of those workers do work that most white working class men don't want, even now.

It's the usual b.s., which as usual solves nothing, other than stirring up RWD's racism and bigotry.

Yeah, illegals didn't take your job, the billionaires did.

Sounds like Opie ferschitz is becomong a reactionary longing for days gone by:

Are you truly a progressive?

If you are pro-labor, you're damned right you're progressive.

Hence Trump pulling the USA out of the Paris Accords. Pro-labor, pro-labor, pro-labor, pro-labor, pro-labor.

As usual, RWD blames undocumented workers for "stealing" jobs that RWD and his kids don't really want anyway.

Of course, RWD never ever says anything bad or derogatory about business owners who are known to deliberately recruit, hire and employ undocumented workers, often for pennies on the dollar in unsafe and unhealthy conditions. Meat processing plant owners, for example, recruit undocumented workers from Central and South America. A lot of farm owners also do as well.

Yet when ICE finds out, they deport the workers but do nothing about the business owners.

I won't click on these links, but where's the fricking outrage at business owners who HIRE and EMPLOY undocumented workers??

Yeah: crickets. As usual.

Let's all just be bigoted racists and victimize ourselves to undocumented workers, but let's never dare breathe a word of reproach for rich business owners who never suffer any consequences for illegally hiring undocumented workers and who continue to do it over and over.

You're a royal chump, RWD. The 1% plays you like a violin.

If RWD cared about labor -- if conservatives were pro-labor, that is -- their platform would look very different. They'd be pro-union, for one thing, and they'd be pro-social safety net; they'd be for universal healthcare, and universal pre-K; pro-public and national parks. They would support all the programs that aid workers, in other words.

Instead, what do we see? Pro-Corporations, pro-cutting taxes on the very wealthiest, give-aways to billionaires, and destruction of every program that helps the working class.

Trump *says* he's for the (white) working class -- and pro-"jobs," whatever that means -- but anyone who hasn't drunk his Kool-Aid can look at what Trump is actually doing and know better.

The Republican Party used to have such a platform...during the Eisenhower administration.

Yep. Those were the days when (many) conservatives were still intelligent, thoughtful, and loyal to the country -- people who really cared about making America better, and keeping it great.
