Why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme CourtWell, someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court.... Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owes her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those that compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there. We should be getting so sick of all of this nonsense. The USA has finally become the laughing stock of the world. GOD help and deliver us.

Naturally this is false, as Snopes has already said.
Its funny though, the connection they are trying to make. Putting Kagan on the court is payback for her magically dismissing all these challenges to him while SG? Don't they realize that he appointed her to SG in the first place, so he would already know about her judicial philosophy and qualifications?
And do they really think the SG can just wave a wand and make lawsuits disappear? Sounds like the most powerful position in all of government. Finally, why would he want her on the court when she's apparently doing such a fine job squashing all the "legitimate" challenges to his authority? Seems like he needs her at her old post, lest "the truth" slip out.
"The USA has finally become the laughing stock of the world. GOD help and deliver us."
How many times - according to RWFs - has the USA *finally* become the laughingstock of the world?? This time it's Kagan that's tipped the USA into the laughingstock category. Seriously?
Weird tribal group think, but note how the rightwing propoganda works.
I'm not particularly thrilled with Kagan, but it's because I don't feel she's had the correct experience; I believe she supports the power of the unitary executive, which I don't; I'm tired of the Harvard old boys network (even as a woman, she's still part of that); and I wanted someone more leftwing (Kagan's fairly conservative in my opinion).
That's just me, but I certainly don't see her nomination as making the USA a laughingstock and anyway, even if so: who cares? For contards who profess not to give a S*** about any other country, they certainly waste a lot of time in these RWFs spitting nails because now the Dems have gone and supposedly embarressed them (the Republics) in front of other countries. WTF? Who cares?
Ginning up stupid outrage over the birf cerifikat once again. Sheesh. Get over it, morans.
We became the laughingstock of the world back in 2000, IIRC.
Rest of the world's thoughts when asked about Kagan: "Who?"
No, actually it's the people that send emails like this that have made this country a laughing stock.
