Subject: Fw: A Little Information on Rick Perry. . . . . . . . . . . . .

For those that know little of Rick Perry who is running for the office of President here is a little insight to the man.  His experience  was not being a community organizer.

Actually, today, A&M has grown to one of the top 10 largest undergraduate enrollments in the country. However, when I went there from ' 65 - ' 69, we only had 11,000 men, and a few (>50) female student wives, and daughters of professors, etc.). In the Fall of 1968 (my Senior Year), a punky, slow talking kid from central west Texas enrolled in Texas A&M and immediately was liked by all the Freshmen in his class! He was liked so much that he was nominated and elected President of the Freshman Class. Later on, in 1971 he was elected to one of the highest honors they can bestow on a student at A&M, that of Head Aggie Yell Leader (All Male schools don't do "Cheers" for Cheerleaders, they do "Yells" for the six elected Yell Leaders). When he graduated (which he did in the normally allotted four years, even with all his extra-circular Yell Leader travels to all Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track and Field, and even Conference Golf Tournaments), he earned a Commission in the United States Air Force and started Flight Training shortly after Graduation. Upon Honor Graduation from Flight Training, he was assigned to C-130 Hercules Transports and sent straight to Viet Nam, where he flew Co-Pilot to one of my best friends at A&M. He said the kid was the most dependable and down to earth pilot with whom he'd flown, and recommended him for Captain of his own C-130. That handsome, very likable, down-to-earth kid was Rick Perry, and I've known him since he was an 18 year old Aggie Freshman. He was known to me that entire year as "Fish Perry"!!
Is he perfect? Hell no, who is? In 11 years as Governor, he has made three MAJOR "Bone-headed" decisions, but when yours truly and many other Texas Republicans called his hand on them, he didn't pull an 'Obama' and proceed to try and ram it down our throats, anyway.........I He re-thought his position and reversed course! That's wisdom!
Is he smart, and does he have good common sense? The Air Force doesn't put idiots in charge of $20 Million Aircraft and 8 crew members! He has an exemplary Military record! And, he can charm the horns off a Buffalo!
And, he has never lost an election, so he must be a pretty damn good politician, as well! It remains to be seen how he handles the national media "Gotcha Question Goons", but I think he'll do pretty well!
By the way, my Classmate who used to fly with Rick in that first C-130 went on to become a Captain for United Airlines and he continued to live in Abilene, TX. He contracted Cancer and died in 2002, and at his Funeral Graveside Service, now Governor Rick Perry arranged for a four aircraft flight of C-130s in tight formation to do a fly-by over the Cemetery, at an altitude of 300 feet, just as Taps were ending and the 21 gun salute was starting. Just as those thundering four engine turbo-props got overhead, the lead aircraft pulled up abruptly into the missing man maneuver. Son, there wasn't a dry eye at the Cemetary! The man has got a heart of gold!
That's who Rick Perry is, and I'm proud to recommend him to you! Beryl
Subject: Who Is Rick Perry?
Who Is Rick Perry?
Don't come after my dog, he warned them.
He is a fifth generation Texan, the son of hardscrabble west Texas tenant farmers; Democrats but conservatives through and through. He grew up in a farm town too small to be on the state map. Life was so hard that he was six years old before his house had indoor plumbing. His mother sewed his clothes, including the underwear he wore to college.

He is an Eagle Scout. After Paint Creek High School , he attended Texas A&M, graduated, and was commissioned into the Air Force where he became a C-130 pilot.

Now 61 years old, he has won nine elections to four different offices in Texas state government. In the first three elections he ran as a Democrat then switched to the Republican Party. He is currently the 47th governor of Texas , a position he has held for 11 years, the longest tenure of any governor in the nation. He has been elected governor three times, the first ever to have that honor.

He has never lost an election.

Rick Perry was the Lieutenant Governor to whom Governor George Bush handed over the office after winning the 2000 Presidential election. Since then, Perry won gubernatorial elections in 2002, 2004, and 2010, the last time by 55% against a field consisting of a Democrat, a Libertarian, a Green Party, and an Independent. He even beat out Kay Bailey Hutchison, long time popular Texas GOP Senator.

Since he became its Governor, Texas , a right-to-work state (no unions to speak of) that taxes neither personal income nor capital gains has added more jobs than the other 49 states combined. In the last two years, low taxes and little regulation led his state to create 47% of all jobs created in the entire nation. Five of the top ten cities with the highest job growth in the nation are in Texas . People follow jobs, so in the last four years for which data are available, Texas led every state in net interstate migration growth.

Perry signed ground-breaking tort reform and medical litigation rules that caused malpractice insurance rates to fall. Some 20,000 doctors have since moved to Texas .

Texas boasts 58 of the Fortune 500 companies, more than any other state. Since May 2011, Texas resumed its pre-recession employment levels. Only two other states and the District of Columbia have done that.

Texas ships 16% of the nation's export value. California trails at 11%. Of the 70 companies that have fled California so far in 2011, 14 relocated in Texas .

In this year's Texas legislative season, Perry got most of what he wanted. With no new taxes, a fiscally lean state budget was passed leaving $6 billion in a rainy day fund even as other states around the country struggled to balance budgets and avoid more deficit borrowing. A voter ID bill passed that was designed to prevent ballot box fraud and illegal voting. A bill passed that makes plaintiffs pay court costs and attorney fees if their suits are deemed frivolous.

Perry scored points even in his legislative failures. He failed to get sanctuary cities banned -- Texas towns in which police cannot question detainees about their immigration status. The blame fell on the legislature. Perry also failed to get a so-called anti-groping bill passed that would put Transportation Security Administration agents in prison if they touch the genitals, anus, or breasts of passengers in a pat down. Federal officials threatened to halt all flights out of Texas airports and the bill died in special session. That endeared Texans even more to TSA employees living in Texas .

Perry jogs daily in the morning. He has no bodyguard with him, but his daughter's dog runs by his side and he carries a laser-guided automatic pistol in his belt. Last year while jogging in an undeveloped area, a coyote paralleled his jogging route, eyeing his dog. He drew his pistol and killed the animal with one shot, leaving it where it fell. "He became mulch," Perry said. Animal rights groups protested, but Perry shrugged it off. "Don't come after my dog," Perry warned".

Recently, Obama asked Perry to delay the July 7 execution of Humberto Leal in order to comply with the International Court of Justice in The Hague and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. Perry refused. Therefore Obama asked the US Supreme Court to delay the execution because it would damage US foreign relations. The Court refused 5-4 and Perry ordered the execution to go forward as scheduled. Over the howls of diplomats, politicians, and the UN, Leal was administered a lethal injection at 6:20 p.m. Before he died, he admitted his guilt and asked for forgiveness.

The case has special implications for Perry, who is considering a run for the presidency in 2012. Even his critics resent federal interference in a Texas execution, which is related to a state, not a federal, crime; an alcohol and drug-fueled rape and murder 17 years ago by an illegal whose family brought him into the country 35 years ago as a child. The interference hinges not on the man's guilt, which Leal advocates acknowledged, but on a technicality: failure to inform Leal that he could have gotten legal representation from the Mexican consulate in lieu of the court-appointed attorneys who represented him. Independent Texans saw Obama's interference as another intrusion of federal power into the affairs of a state, which could cost Obama support in other states.

Needless to say, Perry is a hard-edged conservative and a ferocious defender of 10th Amendments rights (The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.) an explicit restriction of the federal government to only those powers granted in the Constitution. Perry accuses the federal government, especially the Obama administration, of illegal overreach.

Perry said no thanks to the feds whose stimulus offered taxpayer dollars for education and unemployment assistance. The strings on free money from Washington , he said, would restrict Texas in managing its own affairs. Perry even depleted all state funds to fight recent wildfires before asking Washington for disaster relief. His request has been ignored, which comes across as an unvarnished federal power play, further pitting Perry and Texans against the federal government.

I've liked Rex Murphy ever since I first heard him speak in Ottawa more
than a dozen years ago.  He really hits the mark with this commentary in
yesterday's NATIONAL POST.

"... one of the most miserable performances in the modern history of
the American presidency."

***********************************************************************************************

The Media's Love Affair with A Disastrous President

Rex Murphy

As the bad economic news continues to emanate from the United States — with a double-dip recession now all but certain — a reckoning is overdue. American journalism will have to look back at the period starting with Barack Obama’s rise, his assumption of the presidency and his conduct in it to the present, and ask itself how it came to cast aside so many of its vital functions. In the main, the establishment American media abandoned its critical faculties during the Obama campaign — and it hasn’t reclaimed them since.
Much of the Obama coverage was orchestrated sychophancy. They glided past his pretensions — when did a presidential candidate before “address the world” from the Brandenberg Gate in Berlin? They ignored his arrogance — “You’re likeable enough, Hillary.” And they averted their eyes from his every gaffe — such as the admission that he didn’t speak “Austrian.”
The media walked right past the decades-long association of Obama with the weird and racist pastor Jeremiah Wright. In the midst of the brief stormlet over the issue, one CNN host — inexplicably — decided that CNN was going to be a “Wright-free zone.” He could have hung out a sign: “No bad news about Obama here.”
The media trashed Hillary. They burned Republicans. They ransacked Sarah Palin and her family. But Obama, the cool, the detached, the oracular Obama — he strolled to the presidency.
Palin, in particular, stands out as Obama’s opposite in the media’s eyes. As much as they genuflected to the one, they felt the need to turn rottweiler toward the other. If Obama was sacred , classy, intellectual and cosmopolitan, why then Palin must be malevolent, trashy, dumb and pure backwoods-ignorant.
Every doubt they hid from themselves about Obama, every potential embarrassment they tucked under the blanket of their superior sensibilities, they furiously over-compensated for by their remorseless hounding of Palin — from utterly trivial e-mails, to blogger Andrew Sullivan’s weird speculations about Palin’s womb, musings that put the Obama “Birther” fantasies into a realm near sanity. (We are now seeing an echo of that — with a new book promoting all sorts of unconfirmed gossip about Palin, including her alleged sexual dalliance with a basketball star.)
As a result, the press gave the great American republic an untried, unknown and, it is becoming more and more frighteningly clear, incompetent figure as President. Under Obama, America’s foreign policies are a mixture of confusion and costly impotence. It is increasingly bypassed or derided; the great approach to the Muslim world, symbolized by the Cairo speech, is in tatters. Its debt and deficits are a weight on the entire global economy. And the office of presidency is less and less a symbol of strength.
To the degree the press neglected its function as watchdog and turned cupbearer to a Styrofoam demigod, it is a partner in the flaws and failures of what is turning out to be one of the most miserable performances in the modern history of the American presidency.

FW: European Tax Rates

Subject: FW: European Tax Rates

Subject: European Tax Rates

This is where Obama is trying to lead us! Thankfully, he is poor leader, so perhaps we can save ourselves from this fate beginning in November 2012.

This is what  Leveling the playing field looks like, or as it is also equally known  "paying your fair share" ie,  SOCIALISM

 Current European tax Rates
    United Kingdom Income Tax: 50%
VAT: 17.5% TOTAL: 67.5%

France Income Tax: 40%
VAT: 19.6% TOTAL: 59.6%

Greece Income Tax: 40%
VAT: 25% TOTAL: 65%

Spain Income Tax: 45%
VAT:  16% TOTAL: 61%

Portugal
Income Tax: 42%
VAT: 20%  TOTAL: 62%

Sweden
Income Tax: 55%
VAT: 25% TOTAL: 80%

Norway Income Tax: 54.3%
VAT: 25% TOTAL: 79.3%

Netherlands

Income Tax: 52%
VAT: 19% TOTAL: 71%

Denmark Income Tax: 58%
VAT: 25% TOTAL: 83%

Finland
Income Tax: 53%
VAT: 22% TOTAL: 75%

If you’ve started to wonder what the real costs of socialism are  going to be - once the full program in these United States hits your wallet,  take a look at the table. As you digest these mind-boggling figures, keep in  mind that in spite of these astronomical tax rates, these countries are  still not financing their social welfare programs exclusively from tax  revenues! They are deeply mired in public debt of gargantuan proportions.  Greece has reached the point where its debt is so huge it is in imminent  danger of defaulting. That is the reason the European economic community has  intervened to bail them out. If you’re following the financial news, you  know Spain and Portugal are right behind Greece.

The United States  is now heading right down the same path. The VAT tax in the table is the  national sales tax that Europeans pay. Stay tuned because that is exactly  what you can expect to see the administration proposing after the fall  elections. The initial percentage in the United States isn’t going to be  anywhere near the outrageous numbers you now see in Europe. Guess what… the  current outrageous numbers in Europe didn’t start out as outrageous either.  They started out as minuscule - right around the 1% or 2% where they will  start out in the United States. Magically, however, they ran up over the  years to where they are now. Expect the same thing here.

It is the  very notion that with hard work and perseverance, anybody can get ahead  economically here in the USA. Do you think that can ever happen with tax  rates between 60% and 80%? Think again. With the government taking that  percentage of your money, your life will be exactly like life in Europe...  You will never be able to buy a home. You will never buy a car. You will  never send your children to college. Let’s not shuffle the battle cry of the  socialists under the rug either. It’s always the same cry. Equalize incomeSpread the wealth to the poor (whoever they are). Level the economic playing  field. Accomplish that and everything will be rosy.
It’s time to  take a really hard look at reality. Greece is a perfect example. Despite the  socialism system that has ruled this country for decades, with a 65% tax  rate, they are drowning in public debt, would have defaulted without  hundreds of billions in bailout money from the EU, and still. . . 20% of  their population lives in poverty. What has all that socialism money bought,  besides ultimate power for the politicians running the show? Do you think  these people are "free"? They're not. They are slaves to their economic  "system."
Instead of spreading the wealth around, spread this info around. It might wake up some  people.

FW: Refuse!

These are starting to show up around our country!  After dinner she took a $1 dollar bill out of her purse and displayed it on the table. Underneath the words "In God We Trust" someone had stamped the dollar bill in red ink---NO GOD BUT ALLAH.
We asked her where she had gotten this dollar bill.  She said it was part of her change in Alamosa , CO .
We took a picture of her dollar bill.  If anyone tries to give you one of these dollar bills as change, please refuse it and ask them to give you a dollar bill that has not been defaced.
Send this on to everyone you know, please.  God bless our USA
Did you ever think you would see this in your lifetime?????

Who cares what Michael Moore thinks about Georgia?

In case you were rearranging your sock drawer and missed the big announcement, filmmaker Michael Moore, who is about as relevant as a female appendage on a boar hog, is asking “all Americans with a conscience to shun anything and everything to do with the murderous state of Georgia.” I can hear the shudders from Aragon to Zebulon.
Moore didn’t approve of the execution of Troy Davis, convicted a couple of eons ago for the murder of off-duty Savannah police officer Mark Allen MacPhail, the father of two young children and a former Army Ranger, and has decided to take it out on us.

Who cares what this liberal weenie thinks? His opinions belong in the Pantheon of Pompous Pontificators along with Our Ambassador to Outer Space Cynthia McKinney, Ted “Looney Tunes” Turner and President Peanut. Taken all together, their collective views on anything and everything don’t amount to a jar of warm spit.

However, as one who sees the good in everything and everybody — one of my many redeeming qualities — I hope there are those who will take Moore’s advice and stay away from Georgia. High on my wish list is Al Sharpton.

Moore is so angry he has demanded his publisher pull his book, “Here Comes Trouble,” from every bookstore in the state and if they can’t, he says he will “donate every dime of every royalty my book makes in Georgia to help defeat the racists and killers who run that state.” Dang, the man means business. That could run into the tens of cents.

Gov. Nathan Deal’s office is taking Moore’s threats with the seriousness they deserve. Says Brian Robinson, the governor’s spokesperson, “We think it is cute he thinks anyone in Georgia would buy his book, but if any Georgian does, I’m happy to double the royalties and buy a pack of gum for a charity of Michael Moore’s choice.” I think I like this guy.

I asked Junior E. Lee, general manager of the Yarbrough Worldwide Media and Pest Control Company, located in Greater Garfield, Georgia, what his opinion polls were showing on the damage that Moore’s comments could have on future economic development in Georgia. Junior doesn’t believe anybody in Georgia gives two hoops and a holler what Moore thinks. He says Moore should have stay married to Bruce Willis instead of taking up with that silly kid with the beard on “Two and a Half Men.” I didn’t have the heart to tell him that he was thinking about Demi Moore, not Michael Moore. I fear Junior has been inhaling too much cypermethrin, trying to get the cockroaches out of Arveen Ridley’s basement.
Nobody likes being fussed at, but as my daddy used to say, “Consider the source.” In this case, being criticized by Michael Moore is like being called ugly by a frog and the only people that would take him seriously we wouldn’t want in the state anyway.

His crowd probably thinks Social Circle is where you sit around and puff a toke and Thunderbolt is where Captain Marvel lives and that if you go to Alamo you may see Davey Crockett. I wouldn’t begin to try and explain Montezuma and Arabi to them. It would just hurt their brains.

If they have even set foot in our great state it was probably to change planes in Atlanta and as we all know Atlanta — aka Malfunction Junction, where the sewers don’t work and neither do a lot of its citizens — is really not a part of Georgia. It’s just a place to send our legislators every year to get them out of our hair so we can get some work done.
There is always a chance that Michael Moore was misquoted. (I told you I try to find the good in everything and everybody.) When he was talking about racists and killers, there is the possibility he might have been referring to his hometown of Flint, Mich. Flint has had a long and sordid history of racism and last I looked, the FBI says the city has the seventh-highest homicide rate in the nation. The city’s most redeeming quality is that it makes Detroit look like Xanadu. But being the nice guy I am, I’m not going to ask all Georgians with a conscience — and that is most of us — to shun the state of Michigan like Mr. Puffenstuff wants to see happen here. Michigan has more than enough problems already. It has Michael Moore.

Affirmative Action President

VERDICT - THE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PRESIDENT

Obama: The Affirmative Action President
By Matt Patterson

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages.  How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer"; a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.  He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as legislator.

And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor"; a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor.  It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?

Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal:

To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberaldom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass.

Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass -- held to a lower standard -- because of the color of his skin.  Podhoretz continues:

And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon -- affirmative action.  Not in the legal sense, of course.  But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.

Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back.  Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.  Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action.  Yes, racist.  Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin -- that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn't racism, then nothing is.  And that is what America did to Obama.

True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be?  As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate.  All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.  What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks?

In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character.  Those people -- conservatives included -- ought now to be deeply embarrassed.  The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and that's when he has his teleprompter in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.  Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth -- it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.

And what about his character?  Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles.  Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess.  It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.  But really, what were we to expect?  The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.  When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense.  It could not have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

But hey, at least we got to feel good about ourselves for a little while.  And really, isn't that all that matters these days?

A fleeing Taliban, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghan desert when he saw something far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the oasis, only to find a little old Jewish man at a small stand, selling ties.
The Taliban asked, "Do you have water?"

The Jewish man replied, "I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie? They are only $5."

The Taliban shouted, "Idiot! I do not need an over-priced tie. I need water!
I should kill you, but I must find water first!"

"OK," said the old Jewish man, "It does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie and that you hate me. I will show you that I am bigger than that. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a lovely restaurant. It has all the ice cold water you need. Shalom."

Cursing, the Taliban staggered away over the hill. Several hours later he staggered back, almost dead & said,
Your f*cking brother won't let me in without a tie!"

All you Costco shoppers, what do you think of this?

I checked this – found the following links . . .. http://halaladvocates.org/2011/07/costco
and Lamb too  http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2708982/posts
I did some shopping at Costco on Saturday. Nothing too special, just looking to pick up
some meat to BBQ. My eldest son was down with his fiancée from Iowa, so we wanted to
have some family time. My wife and I worked our way past the various displays and only
picked up an ice chest to keep the meat from spoiling on the return trip to Magdalena,
(we were strong willed for a change). We arrived at the refrigerated section and began
the difficult task of choosing our cuts of meat for the family get together. Right away,
I spotted the chicken breasts, they were already boneless and vacuum sealed.
The price was good as it was organic chicken from Oregon, but then I saw on the sign a
note that stopped me cold.
The whole chickens that looked wonderful for the family bar-b-que, just a moment before,
were now an offense to me. Right on the sign were the words “Certified Halal”.
Halal is the Islamic term that basically means the meat is lawful to eat for a devout Muslim.
What makes it lawful or acceptable is that the meat has been processed in a very specific
way. Now, you may think that this is no different than meat that is acceptable to the Jewish
people or kosher. Unlike kosher food, where the physical processing of the meat is the focus,
for Islam it is the spiritual component that makes the meat lawful.
For lawful (halal) meat in Islam, the animal must be killed while the butcher faces Mecca,
and either the butcher cries “Allah Akbar” or a tape plays the words over a loud speaker.
Understand, that when they face Mecca, they face the black stone, the very definition of
idol worship.
I am glad that Costco is finally telling us plainly that the meat is halal or sacrificed to an idol,
but I have a feeling that this not to benefit the Christian, but rather the muslim. I will state
again that I have not fear of a lifeless false god, but the book of Acts plainly tells us that
we are not to eat meat sacrificed to idols.
The false religion of Islam continues to make inroads into America as they attempt to force
some of our communities to submit to Sharia law and demand that halal food be sold in
mainstream stores.
I would point out that normally this type of food has been called “ethnic” food or given a
special section like the Chinese food or whatever. That is not what we see here.
This food is being sold with the standard fair, and one must read the small labels on the
back of the food to find out if it is halal or not.
I believe in freedom of religion. What I am starting to observe, however, is that one religion
(currently the minority) is being given a wide berth and allowed special status. Those that
know their Bible are not surprised by this, we are talking about the religion of the anti-Christ
after all.
But it still amazes me that it can (as the Bible predicted) happen so suddenly and without
anyone really taking notice.

By Karl Rove

Sept. 8, 2011: President Obama pitches his jobs plan to a joint session of Congress.
Thursday night’s show by President Obama struck me as…

Presumptuous: He demanded – 17 times – that Congress immediately pass a bill no one has seen.

Tired: The speech contained little new, just mostly recycled ideas or extensions of current programs that haven’t worked.

Small:
Its proposals, while expensive, offer little hope of really jump-starting the economy.

Mind-boggling: Mr. Obama wants to drains hundreds of billions from Social Security for another stimulus.

Slippery: It will all be paid for, the president said, but it’s up to a Congressional committee to figure out how.

Misleading: These were just GOP ideas. Really? Republicans have proposed another $450 billion stimulus bill, Mr. Obama?

Arrogant:
He refused to consult in advance with anyone on the Hill, even refusing a meeting request from the House Speaker and Majority Leader.

Self-centered: The only job he’s really concerned about is his own. If he really wanted a bipartisan package, he would have worked with Republicans to come up with one.

Unnecessary: The president would have been better off traveling the country this week to lay out proposals, surrounded by people he could claim would might benefit.

Completely political:
Before he spoke, Mr. Obama sent supporters an email titled “Before I head to the Capitol” that ended with “You should donate today.”

Hyper-partisan: This speech – especially its angry tone – was aimed at setting up the Republicans for blame next fall. Then he’ll say the economy would be better if the GOP has just done what I ordered them to do.

Misguided: Mr. Obama is betting his re-elect on a massive spending bill.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln enjoyed the show.

Fw: Fwd: I Want to Get Re-Elected .....

Curator's note: This RWFWD: is a remake of two previous submissions already in the archive.

So overwhelming it amazes me that everyone can't see what a horrible job he has done and what a dire situation he has
put the USA in.  I can only continue to send these types of e-mails out and talk and pray.  Hopefully enough people
won't be fooled this time and he will only be a 1 term pres.  That's all we can survive.

:  I Want to Get Re-Elected ......

I WANT TO GET RE-ELECTED
An old West Virginia Hillbilly saying:
You cannot get the water to clear up
Until you get the pigs out of the creek.
*SOME OF YOU MAY APPRECIATE THIS AND SOME OF YOU MAY NOT.**I DO NOT APOLOGIZE FOR SENDING THIS BECAUSE OF IT'S TRUTH.*
*If any other of our presidents had doubled the national debt,
Which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year,
Would you have approved?*

*If any other of our presidents had then proposed to double the debt again
Within 10 years,
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had criticized a state law
That he admitted he never even read,
Would you think that he is just an
Ignorant hot head? *

*If any other of our presidents joined the country of Mexico
And sued a state in the United States to force that state
To continue to allow illegal immigration, would you question his patriotism
And wonder who's side he was on? *

*If any other of our presidents had pronounced the Marine Corps
Like Marine Corpse, would you think him an idiot? *

*If any other of our presidents had put 87,000 workers out of work
By arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling
On companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry
Because one foreign company had an accident,
Would you have agreed? *

*If any other of our presidents had used a forged document
As the basis of the moratorium that would render 87000 American workers unemployed would you support him? *

*If any other of our presidents had been the first President to need a Teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference,
Would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept
He is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men
Behind the scenes? *

*If any other of our presidents had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars
To take his First Lady to a play in NYC, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings
Of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM,
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had made a joke
At the expense of the Special Olympics,
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive
And incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him
A thoughtful and historically significant gift,
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had given the Queen of England
An iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought it
A proud moment for America ? *
And then
Obama returns Churchill Bust to England :
Bristish Press sees snub.

*If any other of our presidents had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had visited Austria and made reference
To the nonexistent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off
As a minor slip? *

*If any other of our presidents had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers
With people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes,
Would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had stated that there were 57 states
in the United States , wouldn't you have had second thoughts
about his capabilities? *

*If any other of our presidents would have flown all the way to Denmark
to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him
walking out his front door in his home town,
would you not have thought he was a self-important,
conceited, egotistical jerk. *

*If any other of our presidents had been so Spanish illiterate
as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador
when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it
when he tried again, wouldn't you have winced in embarrassment? *

*If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel
to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded
he's a hypocrite?*

*If any other of our presidents' administrations had okayed
Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter
in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic,
would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened
on 9-11? *

*If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid
to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed
or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made
into a major ongoing political issue with claims of
racism and incompetence? *

*If any other of our presidents had created the position of 32 Czars
who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate
on much of what is happening in America ,
would you have ever approved. *

*If any other of our presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO
of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority
to do so, would you have approved? *

*So, tell me again,
what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? *
*Can't think of anything?
Don't worry.
He's done all this in 24 months
so you have that much time to come up with an answer.*

*Every statement and action in this email is factual
and directly attributable to Barrack Hussein Obama.
Every bumble is a matter of record and completely verifiable. *
AND NOW--
HE ACTUALLY WANTS US TO RE-ELECT HIM.
WAKE UP AMERICA 2012 IS UPON US.

*I WONDER HOW MANY OF YOU
WILL FORWARD THIS ? *
I AM BECAUSE I CAN NOT AFFORD TO TAKE A CHANCE
ON THIS GUY FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS . . .
{ I HAVE GRANDKIDS TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT }

*"All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."*
