"I just posted “Obama at the Bat” on my local newspaper website forum. It didn’t take long for the “tolerant, sensitive, inclusive” liberals to start tearing me a new one. They have no sense of humor whatsoever. I LOVE IT!"
I'm thinking you just like having a new one torn.
Come on, admit it.
I often hear of people treating political parties like sports teams, but this is the first time I've seen it happen literally.
Gotta give the video creators credit for managing to cram every last dumb Fox News catchphrase into one video.
Ho hum. Rightwinger blogs and videos like this tend to be developed solely for the intention of running down liberals no matter what. It's certainly fine to disagree, but it's tiresome when the other side disagrees "just because," which is what this has turned into.
And yes the use of a sports analogy is the TELL here. It's all about conservatives "winning" no matter what. What the rubes and teabaggers out there don't seem to get is that we're really are all on the same "team" whether we want to be or not. And although there's always been the concept of the "opposition" in our political structure, it's been meant as another means of check and balance, as well as fair representation.
Conservatives, though, see it only through their reptilian brain; don't think (at all) things through, and cannot see any other side except for their own.
Hence it turns into US v. THEM, when, in fact, we should be working together towards common ground. But the rich oligarchs have certainly been masterful at brainwashing their minions to go along with this plan of action. Works for the extremely wealthy; not so great for the rest of us, including idiotic teabaggers.
And yeah, one of the stupid posts is yet another teabagger whining about how "insensitive" liberals are because we're not totally in agreement with conservatards constantly.
Meh.
I've seen worse, but it's certainly not the "Academy Award winning email of the century." Plus I thought teabaggers hated teh dreaded librul Hollywood and the stoooped Oscars. huh?
