RUGER: Plans to increase from 75% to 100% in the next 90 days.
FNH: Moving from 50% production to 75% by Feb 1st and 100% by March 1.
Remington-Maxed out!
Armalite: Maxed out.
DPMS: Can't get enough parts to produce any more product.
COLT: Production runs increasing weekly...bottle necked by Bolt carrier's.
LWRC:Making only black guns, running at full capacity... can't get enough gun quality steel to make barrels.
Springfield Armory: Only company who can meet demand but are running 30-45 days behind.
AMMO: Every caliber is now Allocated! We are looking at a nationwide shortage of allcalibers over the next 9 months. All plants are producing as much ammo as possible w/ of
1 BILLION rounds produced weekly. Most is military followed by L.E. and civilians arethird in line.
MAGPUL is behind 1 MILLION mags, do not expect any large quantities of magpul anytime soon.
RELOADERS... ALL Remington, Winchester, CCI & Federal primers are going to ammoFIRST. There are no extra's for reloading purposes... it could be 6-9 months before things
get caught up.
Sorry for the bleak news, but now we know what to expect in the coming months. Stay tuned,we'll keep you posted...
Related commentary from Bob Owens:
They didn’t know when they’d be getting anything back in stock, from magazines to rifles to pistols. Manufacturers were running full-bore, but couldn’t come close to keeping up with market demand. It wasn’t just the AR-15s, the AK-pattern rifles, the M1As, and the FALs that were sold out. It really hit me when I realized that the World War-era M1 Garands, M1 carbines, and Enfield .303s were gone, along with every last shell. Ubiquitous Mosin-Nagants — of which every gun store always seems to have 10-20—were gone. So was their ammo. Only a dust free space marked their passing. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Every weapon of military utility designed within the past 100+ years was gone. This isn’t a society stocking up on certain guns because they fear they may be banned.
This is a society preparing for war.

Barack Obama, Dianne Feinstein and the rest of the statists have done more to promote gun ownership than the NRA ever did. Well done, Democrats!

All In The Family

The US government has entered into a contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. The government has decided it no longer needs these buildings, many of which are located on prime land in towns and cities across the country.

The sale of these properties will fetch billions of dollars to the company handling the sales. That company belongs to a man named Richard Blum. Who is Richard Blum? He's the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein. What's wrong with this picture?
Senator Feinstein and her husband stand to make a fortune. His firm, CRI is the sole real estate company offering these properties for sale.  CRI will be making a 6% commission on the sale of each and every one of these postal properties.
All of these properties being sold are all paid for. They were purchased with U.S. taxpayers’ dollars, and they are allowed free and clear by the U.S.P.S.  The only cost to keep them is the cost to actually keep the doors open and the heat and lights on.

The United States Postal Service doesn’t even have to pay property taxes on these properties. Would you sell your house just because you couldn’t afford to pay the electric bill?
Well, the Post Office is.
How does a U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with such a sweet deal? A United States Senator’s husband is standing by ready to make millions from a U.S. taxpayer funded enterprise.
No one in the mainstream media is even raising an eyebrow over his 6% commission on the sale of hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of quasi-public assets.

In late March 2013, 17 year old De’Marquis Elkins shot and killed
a 13 month old baby who was sitting in a stroller.

Elkins shot the infant in the face after the mother refused to give him money.

He also shot the mother in the leg and the neck in Brunswick, GA.

De’Marquis Elkins is not a member of the NRA.

He did not use an assault rifle.

He did not get his stolen pistol from a gun show.

His favorite music is rap.

He did not attend Christian school, nor was he home schooled.

He did attend multicultural public education,
and was not instructed in the Ten Commandments.

His Momma was on welfare, got food stamps, and lived in public housing.

His daddy was not around, and his two brothers have a different daddy.

He already has a record for violent crimes.

He is gang member.

His mom, grandma, and Aunty all voted for Obama.

He never earned his hunter safety card, nor did he shoot CMP,

He was never instructed in gun safety from his father or grandfather.

His public education and family taught him that the white man owes him something.

He went to collect it.

He has no plans on getting married, but does have a Baby Momma, and no,
he is not supporting her baby.

He smokes dope.

He does respect Kayne West.

While he has no job, nor is looking for one, he is well fed.

He has no skills outside of crime.

He speaks Ebonics, and is not capable of doing a professional

He is one of millions.

This is what we are up against.  Make no mistake that people like

Fw: Obama Serves 14-State Governors With Warnings of Arrest

Obama Serves 14-State Governors With Warnings of Arrest: And why is this not front page news?      by Ken Larive

Barack Hussein Obama had served 14-State Governors in the United States, National Security Letters (NSLs) warning that the Governor’s actions in attempting to form “State Defense Forces” needs to be halted “immediately” or they will face arrest for the crime of treason. The employment of NSLs was authorized by the Patriot Act introduced by George W. Bush. Contained within the section related to these letters, it is forbidden for anyone receiving a NSL warning to even acknowledge the existence of said communication.
Obama is angered by the several State Governors who have reestablished “State Defense Forces.” These forces are described as: “State Defense Forces (also known as State Guards, State Military Reserves, State Militias) in the United States are military units that operate under the sole authority of a state government; they are not regulated by the National Guard Bureau nor are they part of the Army National Guard of the United States. State Defense Forces are authorized by state and federal law and are under the command of the governor of each state. State Defense Forces are distinct from their state’s National Guard in that they cannot become federal entities.”
Mr. Obama is fearful of these State Defense Forces, in that he does not have control of said forces, and with the U.S. Military stretched to near breaking from multiple deployments and theatre actions in Iraq and Afghanistan, these State military forces would be under the direct command and authority of the Governors in which states have said forces. In essence, the Governors would have “de facto control” of the United States.

The two Governors leading this move are: Tim Pawlenty, Governor of Minnesota; and Rick Perry, Governor of Texas. Both of these State Governors stated they have: “…deep fear the President is destroying their Nation.” Governor Pawlenty’s fear of Obama is that since Obama took office he has appeased America’s enemies and has shunned some of America’s strongest allies, especially Israel. Governor Perry has declared that Obama is punishing his State of Texas by dumping tens-of-thousands of illegal Mexican immigrants into the cities and small towns of Texas. Governor Perry further recently stated: “If Barack Obama’s Washington doesn’t stop being so oppressive, Texans might feel compelled to renounce their American citizenry and secede from the union.”
Obama fearing a revolution against him by the states, has moved swiftly by nationalizing nearly all National Guard Forces in multiple states; Georgia, Alabama, Kansas, Minnesota, Tennessee, Virginia, Louisiana, South Carolina – to name a few. The Governors of the Great States of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia still have under their Command-and-Control the State Defense Forces to go against U.S. Federal forces should the need arise. Also important to note: There are NO U.S. laws prohibiting National Guard troops from also joining their State’s Defense Forces. This dilemma occurred during the Civil War with many “citizen soldiers” choosing to serve their states instead of the Federal Government.

#443 The Nation of Argentina
While I was attending Georgia Tech, there was an Argentine student in the Textile School that had some classes with me.  In conversation with him one day I asked him about the government of Argentina.  He told me that it was a democracy.  I asked him about the length of the President’s term.  His answer was that the President was elected for life.  I was surprised and looked at him quite puzzled.  He then commented that the term usually lasted two or three years and someone would kill him.
During my research for this column, I learned that only a few former presidents of Argentina were assassinated but a large majority were removed by military coup.  In 1994, the Constitution of Argentina was amended to provide for a four year term as President with one additional term possible.  The current President is a lady – President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.  Her husband was President Nestor Kirchner.  He preceded Cristina as president and supported her run for the presidency.  He had been diagnosed with cancer and died during her first term in office.  She is serving her second term which will expire in December of 2015.
In 1910 the economy of Great Britain was the largest in the world with second place being a race between the United States and Argentina.  International trade in Argentina was prominent with excellent ports and rivers that were easy to navigate.  They were exporting beef and wheat in large quantities.  They had railroads to get their products to the ports.
In 1916 while the economy was still very good the country elected Hipolito Irigoyen as President.  His was a new political party called “The Radical Party.”  His campaign promise was that he was going to “Fundamentally Change” the nation of Argentina.  He began to move the country away from free enterprise into socialism.
One of his first actions was to provide health care to everyone in the nation.  He also provided pensions to every person who reached the age of retirement.  In order to stimulate the economy, he provided financing and subsidized the cost to build better housing for the low income citizens.  He started a payroll tax to pay for these additional benefits.  President Irigoyen served for six years between 1916 and 1922.  He was elected again in 1928 and served two additional years.  By 1930 the economy was already on a severe downturn with the amount being paid out not being covered by the amount of taxes coming in due to the continuing increase of the entitlements being supplied by the government.
In the next 16 years there were ten presidents elected or appointed in the nation of Argentina and the economy continued to get worse.  In 1946 at the end of WWII Juan Peron was elected president.  His theme in his campaign was to “Tax The Rich” and make the wealthy pay their fair share.  When taxing the very rich did not supply enough funds, the income level for being a part of the rich was lowered until it covered a good portion of the middle class.  The new income tax rate was over 500% of the original rate started by President Irigoyen.  President Peron increased the size of government substantially even though the government was operating with a substantial deficit.  Argentina has been unable to make payments on its national debt and the interest rate on their debts now exceeds 12 %.  The United States pays an interest rate on its debt in the range of 2 %.  If this rate were raised to 12 % our country would collapse in 4 or 5 years.
President Peron’s policies made it difficult to make a profit by farming and the younger members of the operators of the family farms began to move to the city and go to work in the expanding government agencies.  Many of the family farms closed and the beef and wheat production was greatly reduced.  A country that had earlier been exporting farm products to the rest of the world could not supply food for their own country.  Meatless days became a common occurrence in Argentina.  Peron promoted and supported the labor unions that became a base of support for his presidency.
Peron instituted a Value Added Tax (National Sales Tax) on all products sold.  He taxed the value of each citizen’s assets.  He taxed the value of the sale of investment assets whether it was a profitable sale or not.
After he was removed from office the government economy continued to decline.  The current president and her husband considered themselves Peronists and believed that his policies were proper.  In 2001, the government seized the public retirement funds and put them into the national treasury to help pay the government’s debts.  They left an IOU from the government for the value of the funds.  In 2002, Argentina experienced an economic period equal to the Great Depression in the USA.
In recent years, Argentina printed billions of dollars worth of their currency and used it to pay the debts of the government.  This caused an international lose of confidence in their currency and in one year they had over 3000 percent inflation.  The price of every product was changing on a daily basis.
President Irigoyen promised in 1916 that he would fundamentally change Argentina.  In a hundred years it went from the world’s second or third most successful economy to one of the worst in the world.  It sure is good to be in America and know that nothing like this could happen here.  Our government would never follow any of the policies that were used in Argentina.  Would they?

Orwell's "1984" is here!

The Leftists in Washington state tried to sneak through a law that would allow law enforcement officials to annually inspect the homes of assault-weapons owners to assure that they are "stored safely."  Wonder stored safely would be defined.  If they are not stored safely would the owner be fined or his weapon confiscated?  Also, under the proposed law, the owner could face a penalty of one-year in jail for refusing law enforcement to inspect your home.  While this is a clear violation of our second and fourth amendment rights, it did not stop the Leftists from including it in the Washington Legislature's gun law.  This tipping of their intent makes it apparent for all to see that the ultimate goal of the Leftists is to confiscate the guns of citizens.  Will they be caught the next time their hands are in the cookie jar?
Mistake in gun bill could defeat the effort

By Danny Westneat

Seattle Times staff columnist

One of the major gun-control efforts in Olympia this session calls for the sheriff to inspect the homes of assault-weapon owners. The bill’s backers say that was a mistake.

Forget police drones flying over your house. How about police coming inside, once a year, to have a look around?

As Orwellian as that sounds, it isn’t hypothetical. The notion of police home inspections was introduced in a bill last week in Olympia.

That it’s part of one of the major gun-control efforts pains me. It seemed in recent weeks lawmakers might be headed toward some common-sense regulation of gun sales. But then last week they went too far. By mistake, they claim. But still too far.

“They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.”

That’s no gun-rights absolutist talking, but Lance Palmer, a Seattle trial lawyer and self-described liberal who brought the troubling Senate Bill 5737 to my attention. It’s the long-awaited assault-weapons ban, introduced last week by three Seattle Democrats.

(Note to readers: The link above is to a new version of SB 5737, which no longer contains the disputed provision. The original version of the bill has been erased from the state’s Web site, but here you can see it as it was proposed.)

Responding to the Newtown school massacre, the bill would ban the sale of semi-automatic weapons that use detachable ammunition magazines. Clips that contain more than 10 rounds would be illegal.

But then, with respect to the thousands of weapons like that already owned by Washington residents, the bill says this:

“In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall ... safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.”

In other words, come into homes without a warrant to poke around. Failure to comply could get you up to a year in jail.

“I’m a liberal Democrat I’ve voted for only one Republican in my life,” Palmer told me. “But now I understand why my right-wing opponents worry about having to fight a government takeover.”

He added: “It’s exactly this sort of thing that drives people into the arms of the NRA.”

I have been blasting the NRA for its paranoia in the gun-control debate. But Palmer is right you can’t fully blame them, when cops going door-to-door shows up in legislation.

I spoke to two of the sponsors. One, Sen. Adam Kline, D-Seattle, a lawyer who typically is hyper-attuned to civil-liberties issues, said he did not know the bill authorized police searches because he had not read it closely before signing on.

“I made a mistake,” Kline said. “I frankly should have vetted this more closely.”

That lawmakers sponsor bills they haven’t read is common. Still, it’s disappointing on one of this political magnitude. Not counting a long table, it’s only an eight-page bill.

The prime sponsor, Sen. Ed Murray, D-Seattle, also condemned the search provision in his own bill, after I asked him about it. He said Palmer is right that it’s probably unconstitutional.

“I have to admit that shouldn’t be in there,” Murray said.

He said he came to realize that an assault-weapons ban has little chance of passing this year anyway. So he put in this bill more as “a general statement, as a guiding light of where we need to go.” Without sweating all the details.

Later, a Senate Democratic spokesman blamed unnamed staff and said a new bill will be introduced.

Murray had alluded at a gun-control rally in January that progress on guns could take years.

“We will only win if we reach out and continue to change the hearts and minds of Washingtonians,” Murray said. “We can attack them, or start a dialogue.”

Good plan, very bad start. What’s worse, the case for the perfectly reasonable gun-control bills in Olympia just got tougher.

Ha - they have outsmarted themselves this time!  But watch out – they’ll probably try to screw us again.

These people are too stupid for words. "We have to pass the Bill before we know what's in it" and even then they don't know what's in it.

  • Wednesday, it was discovered that hidden deep within the massive 2800-page bill called Obamacare, there is a Senate Amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms.

It seems that in their haste to cram socialized medicine down the throats of the American people, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Barack Obama overlooked Senate amendment 3276, Sec. 2716, part c.

According to that amendment, the government cannot collect "any information relating to the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition." This means that the government CANNOT mandate firearm registration. No registration, no confiscation. Poor ol' Joe Biden, he spent the last couple of weeks focusing on making a law requiring registration. Good thing is though, the amendment also states that not even an executive order can override the amendment.

CNN is now referring to it as "a gift to the nation's powerful gun lobby."

And according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), that's exactly right. He says he personally added the provision in order to keep the NRA from getting involved in the legislative fight over Obamacare, which was so ubiquitous in 2010.

It looks like Harry Reid actually helped out firearm owners without even realizing it. Thanks Harry!!
