Navy Petty Officer Mike Monsoor
PO2 (EOD2) (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Mike Monsoor, a Navy EOD Technician, was
awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for jumping on a grenade in Iraq,
giving his life to save his fellow Seals.
(Notice: Mike was not a Navy SEAL, he was EOD. He gave his life to save a group
of Navy SEALS.)
During Mike Monsoor's funeral in San Diego, as his coffin was being moved from the hearse
to the grave site at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery , SEAL's were lined up on both sides
of the pallbearers route forming a column of two's, with the coffin moving up the center. As Mike's
coffin passed, each SEAL, having removed his gold Trident from his uniform, slapped it down
embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin.
The slaps were audible from across the cemetery; by the time the coffin arrived grave side,
it looked as though it had a gold inlay from all the Tridents pinned to it.
This was a fitting send-off for a warrior hero.
This should be front-page news instead of the trivia we see every day..
Since the media won't make this news,
I choose to make it news by forwarding it .
I am very proud of our military. If you are proud too, please pass this on. If not then rest
assured that these fine men and women of our military will continue to serve and protect.
God Bless our Troops
May you always have love to share, health to spare, and friends that care

You're sound asleep when you hear a thump outside your bedroom door. Half-awake, and nearly paralyzed with fear, you hear muffled whispers. At least two people have broken into your house and are moving your way. With your heart pumping, you reach down beside your bed and pick up your shotgun.. You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it. In the darkness, you make out two shadows.
One holds something that looks like a crowbar. When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire. The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside. As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you're in trouble.
In your country, most guns were outlawed years before, and the few That are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them useless. Yours was never registered. Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has died. They arrest you for First Degree Murder and Illegal Possession of a Firearm. When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.
"What kind of sentence will I get?" you ask.
"Only ten-to-twelve years," he replies, as if that's nothing. "Behave yourself, and you'll be out in seven."
The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper.. Somehow, you're portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot are represented as choirboys. Their friends and relatives can't find an unkind word to say about them. Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both "victims" have been arrested numerous times. But the next day's headline says it all: "Lovable Rogue Son Didn't Deserve to Die." The thieves have been transformed from career criminals into Robin Hood-type pranksters. As the days wear on, the story takes wings. The national media picks it up, then the international media. The surviving burglar has become a folk hero.
Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you, and he'll probably win. The media publishes reports that your home has been burglarized several times in the past and that you've been critical of local police for their lack of effort in apprehending the suspects. After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you would be prepared next time. The District Attorney uses this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars.
A few months later, you go to trial. The charges haven't been reduced, as your lawyer had so confidently predicted. When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you. Prosecutors paint a picture of you as a mean, vengeful man. It doesn't take long for the jury to convict you of all charges.
The judge sentences you to life in prison.
This case really happened.
On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk , England , killed one burglar and wounded a second. In April, 2000, he was convicted and is now serving a life term.
How did it become a crime to defend one's own life in the once great British Empire ?
It started with the Pistols Act of 1903. This seemingly reasonable law forbade selling pistols to minors or felons and established that handgun sales were to be made only to those who had a license. The Firearms Act of 1920 expanded licensing to include not only handguns but all firearms except shotguns.
Later laws passed in 1953 and 1967 outlawed the carrying of any weapon by private citizens and mandated the registration of all shotguns.
Momentum for total handgun confiscation began in earnest after the Hungerford mass shooting in 1987.. Michael Ryan, a mentally disturbed Man with a Kalashnikov rifle, walked down the streets shooting everyone he saw.. When the smoke cleared, 17 people were dead.
The British public, already de-sensitized by eighty years of "gun control", demanded even tougher restrictions. (The seizure of all privately owned handguns was the objective even though Ryan used a rifle.)
Nine years later, at Dunblane , Scotland , Thomas Hamilton used a semi-automatic weapon to murder 16 children and a teacher at a public school.
For many years, the media had portrayed all gun owners as mentally unstable or worse, criminals. Now the press had a real kook with which to beat up law-abiding gun owners. Day after day, week after week, the media gave up all pretense of objectivity and demanded a total ban on all handguns. The Dunblane Inquiry, a few months later, Sealed the fate of the few sidearm still owned by private citizens.
During the years in which the British government incrementally took away most gun rights, the notion that a citizen had the right to armed self-defense came to be seen as vigilantism. Authorities refused to grant gun licenses to people who were threatened, claiming that self-defense was no longer considered a reason to own a gun.. Citizens who shot burglars or robbers or rapists were charged while the real criminals were released.
Indeed, after the Martin shooting, a police spokesman was quoted as saying, "We cannot have people take the law into their own hands."
All of Martin's neighbors had been robbed numerous times, and several elderly people were severely injured in beatings by young thugs who had no fear of the consequences. Martin himself, a collector of antiques, had seen most of his collection trashed or stolen by burglars.
When the Dunblane Inquiry ended, citizens who owned handguns were given three months to turn them over to local authorities. Being good British subjects, most people obeyed the law. The few who didn't were visited by police and threatened with ten-year prison sentences if they didn't comply. Police later bragged that they'd taken nearly 200,000 handguns from private citizens.
How did the authorities know who had handguns? The guns had been registered and licensed. Kinda like cars.

Sarah Palin answered, "God made Adam and Eve, they had children, and so was all mankind made."
Two days later, the girl wrote to Michelle Obama and asked the same question.
Michelle Obama answered, "Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved..."
The confused girl went to her father and asked, " D ad, how is it possible that Sarah Palin told me the Human race was created by God, and Michelle Obama said they evolved from monkeys."

Yep! I got watery eyes, all right. You know, they (whoever that is) tell us now that reading to babies or singing to them while they are in the womb, will register on their little computer banks in the brain, and they will learn to read faster and be more confident and secure as a child....things they hear will register more quickly, because they have heard much of it over and over from the womb. Facts bear this out.
This little girl in the story had bonded with her big brother before birth, and she was missing his voice...the bond was so strong that when she heard that voice, it took away the apprehension, the loneliness and whatever else was causing the problem.
Luke (now 4 years old) talks to Jake and sings to him, and has ever since Jake got here almost four months ago, and right now, whenever Jake is crying, Luke can go over to him and in his sweet, caring little voice, he will say, "It's okay, little buddy. You're going to be all right." Instantly Jake locks his eyes in on Luke and stops crying and calms down. Tim and Heather don't have that effect on Jake, but Luke does. And, he gives that baby lots of attention...kisses on him and oohs and ahhs over him and is protective of him...and has been ever since he got here. He takes that big brother business seriously.
Luke likes to spend the night with us, and the other day when they were getting ready to leave after coming by the house after church, Kathy said, "Luke, since you like to spend the night with Granny and Pa, how about it if we keep Jake tonight, and you go on home with Mama and Daddy?" He looked dead serious and said, "No, he has to go with me, because I'm his big brother." She answered, "Yeah, but he will like it here, and you can see him tomorrow." He replied, "No, he's not big enough or old enough to stay here by himself." She asked, "Well, when is he going to be old enough?" He said, "Not for a long time." Kids are our greatest earthly treasure from the Lord, and they are "heavenly." Read the story below (Walt)...
You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine'
(Be prepared to get watery eyes!)
Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the
way, she did what she could to help her
3-year-old son, Michael, prepare
for a new sibling.
They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day,
night after night, Michael sang to his sister in mommy's tummy.
He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.
The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the
Panther Creek United Methodist Church
in Morristown , Tennessee
In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every
three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and
Karen found herself in hours of labor.
Would a C-section be required?
Finally, after a long struggle, Michael's
little sister was born.
But she was in very serious condition.
With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to
the neonatal intensive care unit at
St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville ,
Tennessee . The days inched by.
The little girl got worse.
The pediatrician had to tell the parents
there is very little hope.
Be prepared for the worst.
Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot.
They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby but
now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral.
Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister..
I want to sing to her, he kept saying.
Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the
week was over.
Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never
allowed in Intensive Care.
Karen decided to take Michael
whether they liked it or not..
If he didn't see his sister right then,
he may never see her alive..
She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU.
He looked like a walking laundry basket.
The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, 'Get that kid out of here now. No children are allowed.'
The mother rose up strong in Karen,
and the usually mild-mannered lady
glared steel-eyed right into
the head nurse's face, her lips a firm line.
'He is not leaving until he sings to his sister' she stated.
Then Karen towed Michael to his
He gazed at the tiny infant losing
the battle to live.
After a moment, he began to sing.
In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang:
'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
you make me happy when skies are gray.'
Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down
and become steady.
'Keep on singing, Michael,' encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes.
'You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away..'
As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten's purr
'Keep on singing, sweetheart.'
'The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms'
Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed to sweep over her.
'Keep on singing, Michael.'
Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed.
'You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away.'
The next day...the very next day the little girl was well enough to go home
Woman's Day Magazine called it
The Miracle of a Brother's Song.
The medical staff just called it a miracle.
Karen called it a miracle of God's love..
NEVER GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE
LOVE IS SO INCREDIBLY POWERFUL.
Life is good.
Have a Wonderful Day

'The evidence of God's presence far outweighs the proof of His absence.'
A young student in Illinois attended the state University. Half way through the semester, he foolishly squandered all of his money.
He calls home. "Dad," he says, "You won't believe what modern education is developing! They actually have a program here in Champaign that will teach our dog, Bo, how to talk!"
"That's amazing," his Dad says. "How do I get Bo in that program?"
"Just send him down here with $1,000" the young man says. "I'll get him in the course."
So, his father sends the dog and $1,000.
About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money again runs out. The boy calls home.
"So how's Bo doing son?" his father asks. "Awesome, Dad, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't believe this - they've had such good results they also have started to teach dogs how to read!"
"Read!?" says his father, "No kidding! How do we get Bo in that program?"
"Just send $2,500, I'll get him in the class."
The money promptly arrives. But our hero has a problem. At the end of the year his father will find out the dog can neither talk, nor read.
When he arrives home at the end of the year, his father is all excited. "Where's Bo? I just can't wait to see him read something and talk!"
"Dad," the boy says, "I have some grim news. Yesterday morning, just before we left to drive home, Bo was in the living room, kicked back in the recliner, reading the Wall Street Journal, like he usually does. Then he turned to me and asked, "So, is your dad still messin' around with that little redhead who lives in town?"
The father exclaimed, "I hope you shot that &*%$# before he talks to your Mother!"
"I sure did, Dad!"
"That's my boy!"
The kid would become a successful lawyer; he then went on to become the
Governor of Illinois ..

Carlos' sign reads: I have no work, a wife and six kids to support.

Carlos says, "All right, so what does your sign say?"
Jose's sign reads: I only need ten dollars to get back to Mexico .
Subject: H E R E- I T- C O M E S !!! - HR45 Gun Licensing Bill
HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009
Please send this to everybody on your list... this is Obama's gun control by secrecy.
Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House.
This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.
We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.
Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar.
To find out about this go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales
Act of 2009. You will get all the information.
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - Any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:
It is registered
You are fingerprinted
You supply a current Driver's License
You supply your Social Security #
You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
Each update - change of ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25- Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. The Government would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 years in prison.
If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this..
http://www.opencong/ress.org/ and search for HR 45. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along.
FAILURE TO DO SO AT YOUR PERIL!
Any hunters in your family - pass this along.
Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. in the morning.
He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action".
Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA.
This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.
This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not.
The Second Amendment America's original homeland security.

New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME!)
Since the Pledge of Allegiance & The Lords Prayer
Are not allowed in Schools anymore
Because the word 'God' is mentioned...
A Kid in Ohio wrote the attached...
NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights..
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.
We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
The y've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
If you aren't ashamed to do this,

Fwd: 5 surgeons
Five surgeons from big cities are discussing who makes the best patient to operate on..
The first surgeon, from New York, says, "I like to see Accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered."
The second, from Chicago, responds, "Yeah, but you should try
electricians! Everything inside them is color coded."
The third surgeon, from Dallas, says, "No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order."
The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles chimes in: "You know I like construction workers...those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over."

I bought a new GMC Sierra and returned to the dealer
yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work.
The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.
'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.
Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant 'Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.
I drove away happy, and for the next
few days, every time I'd say, 'Beethoven,' I'd get beautiful classical music,
and if I said, 'Beatles,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.
Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but
I swerved in time to avoid him.
I yelled, 'Ass Hole!'
Immediately the Iranian National Anthem began to play,
sung by Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand, backed up by
Michael Moore and The Dixie Chicks, with John Kerry
on guitar, Al Gore on drums, Dan Rather on harmonica,
Nancy Pelosi on tambourine, Harry Reid on spoons,
Bill Clinton on sax and Ted Kennedy On Scotch.
Damn, I LOVE this truck!

SCROLL DOWN AND READ WHAT RICK WARREN SAID TO HIS CHURCH, AND THEN SCROLL BACK UP AND CLICK ON THE LINK AND SEE WHAT HE SAID TO LARRY KING, WHICH IS IN STARK CONTRAST. HE SAYS ONE THING TO HIS CHURCH CROWD AND QUITE ANOTHER TO LARRY KING, AND APOLOGIZES TO HOMOSEXUALS. A FOUNTAIN CANNOT SEND FORTH BOTH BITTER AND SWEET WATER (JAMES 3:11); NO MAN CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS, FOR HE WILL CLING TO ONE OR THE OTHER (MATTHEW 6:24); ONE CANNOT PLEASE BOTH GOD AND MAN (GALATIANS 1:10 / I THESSALONIANS 2:4-6); AND THE TRUMPET, TO BE UNDERSTOOD, MUST SEND FORTH A CERTAIN SOUND (I CORINTHIANS 14:8).
ON MORAL ISSUES, ONE MUST GET IN OR GET OUT, GET ON OR GET OFF, AND NOT RUN AROUND THE FORTY ACRES. IF THERE IS TO BE ANY HOPE FOR HOMOSEXUALS, IT IS FOUND IN I CORINTHIANS 6:9-11...THEY MUST BE "WASHED" FROM THAT SIN, JUST AS THOSE GUILTY OF OTHER SINS. THE BLOOD OF CHRIST IS THE ONLY REMEDY FOR SIN OF ANY DESCRIPTION, AND IT IS ALL HEINOUS AND VILE IN THE SIGHT OF THE HOLY AND JUST GOD, WHO HAS ALREADY ANNOUNCED JUDGMENT UPON ALL WHO ARE NOT IN CHRIST (JOHN 3:18, 36).
THE LAST THING HOMOSEXUALS NEED IS TO BE APOLOGIZED TO OR COMFORTED IN THEIR INORDINATE LIFESTYLE, WHICH GOD SAYS IS "AGAINST NATURE" AND "VILE" (ROMANS 1:24-32). HE RAINED FIRE AND BRIMSTONE ON SODOM AND GOMORRAH FOR THAT VERY SIN (GENESIS 191-25). HOMOSEXUALS MUST COME TO FACE THE FACT THAT GOD DID NOT MAKE THEM THIS WAY; IT IS A LEARNED BEHAVIOR, ONE THAT IS TAUGHT THEM ALONG THE WAY.
IN ANY CASE, WHATEVER THEY FEEL MADE THEM THAT WAY, THEY MUST, AS THE DRUNKARD, THE LIAR, THE THIEF AND EVERY OTHER SINNER, AGREE WITH GOD ABOUT THEIR CONDITION AND CRY OUT TO GOD FOR MERCY AND DELIVERANCE. IF THEY REMAIN IN THEIR PRESENT SIN AND REBELLION, THEY SHALL SURELY PERISH UNDER THE WRATH OF GOD, AND WILL JOIN THE INFAMOUS LIST OF UNREPENTANT REBELS LISTED IN REVELATION 21:8 IN THE LAKE OF FIRE.
I AM CONGNIZANT OF THE FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE IN OUR DAY HAVE ABANDONED THE WORD OF GOD AND HAVE THROWN OFF ALL RESTRAINT FROM GOD OR MAN AND HAVE RUN RAMPANT INTO LICENTIOUSNESS AND DEBAUCHERY. SUCH PEOPLE WILL NOT AGREE WITH WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN, NOR WILL THEY AGREE WITH WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ON THE MATTER. FINE, BUT THAT DOES NOT, AND WILL NOT, CHANGE THE TRUTH. A HORSE WHICH TAKES THE BITS IN ITS TEETH AND KICKS AGAINST ITS MASTER CAN LOOK TO GET THE WHIP ON HIS BACK UNTIL HIS STUBBORN WILL IS BROKEN, AND THERE IS A ROD FOR THE BACK OF FOOLS (PROVERBS 26:3).. Rick Warren disavows support for Prop. 8
Jim Brown - OneNewsNow - 4/8/2009 7:00:00 AM
California mega-church pastor and author of The Purpose Driven Life Rick Warren says he apologized to his homosexual friends for making comments in support of California's Proposition 8, and now claims he "never once even gave an endorsement" of the marriage amendment.
Monday night on CNN's Larry King Live , Pastor Rick Warren apologized for his support of Prop. 8, California 's voter-approved marriage protection amendment, saying he has "never been and never will be" an "anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist."
"During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never -- never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop. 8 was going," Warren claimed.
However, just two weeks before the November 4 Prop. 8 vote, Pastor Warren issued a clear endorsement of the marriage amendment while speaking to church members. "We support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8," he said.
The following is a complete transcript of Warren 's comments just weeks before the Prop. 8 election:
"The election's coming just in a couple of weeks, and I hope you're praying about your vote. One of the propositions, of course, that I want to mention is Proposition 8, which is the proposition that had to be instituted because the courts threw out the will of the people. And a court of four guys actually voted to change a definition of marriage that has been going for 5,000 years.
"Now let me say this really clearly: we support Proposition 8 -- and if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8. I never support a candidate, but on moral issues I come out very clear.
"This is one thing, friends, that all politicians tend to agree on. Both Barack Obama and John McCain , I flat-out asked both of them: what is your definition of marriage? And they both said the same thing -- it is the traditional, historic, universal definition of marriage: one man and one woman, for life. And every culture for 5,000 years, and every religion for 5,000 years, has said the definition of marriage is between one man and a woman.
"Now here's an interesting thing. There are about two percent of Americans [who] are homosexual or gay/lesbian people. We should not let two percent of the population determine to change a definition of marriage that has been supported by every single culture and every single religion for 5,000 years.
"This is not even just a Christian issue -- it's a humanitarian and human issue that God created marriage for the purpose of family, love, and procreation.
"So I urge you to support Proposition 8, and pass that word on. I'm going to be sending out a note to pastors on what I believe about this. But everybody knows what I believe about it. They heard me at the Civil Forum when I asked both Obama and McCain on their views."
During his CNN interview on Monday, Warren expressed regret for backing Prop. 8. "There were a number of things that were put out. I wrote to all my gay friends -- the leaders that I knew -- and actually apologized to them. That never got out," he admitted.
Additionally, Pastor Warren said he did not want to comment on or criticize the Iowa Supreme Court's decision last week to legalize same-sex "marriage" because it was "not his agenda."
to defend the institution of marriage, as defined in the Bible?
Vote in our poll
Bryan Fischer with the Idaho Values Alliance says Warren is abdicating his biblical role as a pastor. "For Pastor Warren to say that shoring up marriage is not something that's on his agenda is just something that's hard to believe for somebody who believes the Bible is our rule for faith and practice," Fischer notes.
Dr. Jim Garlow , the senior pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in the San Diego suburb of La Mesa , helped spearhead the Prop. 8 effort in California . Garlow admits he is confused and troubled by Pastor Warren 's decision to apologize for supporting Prop. 8.
"Historically when institutions and individuals back away from convictional biblical truth, it is driven primarily by one single factor -- and that is the respectability of other people. In other words, much more caring about what other people think about them than what God thinks about them," he concludes.
Pastor Warren did not respond to a request from OneNewsNow for an interview.

My sentiments exactly! This is an excellent article; it matters not who wrote it. The only thing I have to add to it is one big word: AMEN! Do I wish the Islamic world would convert to Christ? Of course, and some will and do, but terrorism must be stopped, and our military is in place to protect this country, and I for one do not have any hesitation, as a patriot and freedom-loving American, in supporting any measures that would stop these murderous beasts from wrecking this country that I, and countless others, have offered to bleed and die for.
Our children and grandchildren are far more important to me than ANY enemy who stretches forth his hand to destroy what God Himself has given to us and blessed us with. The matter, in a nutshell, boils down to this: There is evil in the world, and we must, with God's blessing, resist it and defeat it, or it will destroy us all. Read below (Walt)....
