Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama go to heaven,
God addresses Al first. ''Al, what do you believe in?''
Al replies: "Well, I believe that I won that election, but
that it was your will that I did not serve.
And I've come to understand that now.''
God thinks for a second and says:
"Very good. Come and sit at my left.''
God then addresses Bill. "Bill, what do you believe in?''
Bill replies: "I believe in forgiveness.
I've sinned, but I've never held a grudge against my fellow
man, and I hope no grudges are held against me.'' ;
God thinks for a second and says: "You are forgiven, my son.
Come and sit at my right.''
Then God addresses Barack. "Barack, what do you believe in?''
He replies: "I believe you're in my chair."
Fw: Heaven....

So does this mean that Republicans admit that Al Gore won and are now willing to forgive Bill Clinton? I mean, if that's what God believes shouldn't it be what they believe as well?
I've seen this joke with non-political people (sports commentators, actually). I rather like the characterisations of Clinton and Gore - one gets so tired of unpleasantness and hateful caricatures.
1 point bc it made me laugh! But srsly ain't this more about how the right wing wishes to paint the picture of BHO, rather than how BHO (and/or the Democrats) views himself?
Is it me, or do conservatives seem esp over the top in their need to paint BHO as the worst thing that's ever happened to them?
Then again: perhaps BHO is their worst nightmare?? An intelligent man, who actually embraces family values (not just talk about them endlessly), hard working, serious, and really concerned about his country and our population.
That certainly is NOT what the GOP embraces... these days...
Hmmm, interesting. As the first post sez: are the conservatives NOW willing to admit the TRUTH that Gore won the election??? Woah, that's news.
I guess, though, after the hypocracy of Ensign and Sanford, maybe the wingtards are also now "reconsidering" their position on adultry? Like: forgiving EVEN teh dreaded Bubba???
that'll be the day, but still, interesting...
This fits the republican fear meme that's been in vogue for the past 8years--as in "This is the scariest/worst/most destructive president/enemy/congress we've ever had" Unsaid of course is the idea that we only thought Clinton and Gore were bad until we met Obama. (I actually think Clinton would be more likely to claim god's throne ;)
More wingtard projection.
Dubya had to be THE most arrogant, insecure, over-compensating, power-grasping man on the entire planet.
And here we have a modest, self-deprecating guy trying to salvage what's left of the country and the
cons continue to portray him as arrogant and, above all, as uppity. Racist much?
