Tea Party commercial by an Alabama teenager...

I asked Justin if he could help me make a commercial for my group's Tea Party. He sat down at the laptop for about an hour and then brought this to me and asked "is this okay, Mom?" After I finished watching it, my stomach was in my throat. Everyone that I have sent it to has really enjoyed it so I wanted my friends to see it. I am so proud! Enjoy!

By golly, I didn't realize that George Washington, Jefferson, the doughboys, GI's, Don't Tread on Me Flags, etc... are the functional equivalent to paying taxes. I'd just like to point out that the Republican Women of Trussville obviously do not understand basic economics. In a recession, (so goes my memory of Keynesian economics) the government will spend to help the economy recover, incurring debt which is paid off by higher taxes (or less spending) during the good times. Perhaps if the USA didn't spend over 500 billion a year on the "WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE" F-18 and other military equipment, we wouldn't have such a large national debt. But what do I know, I have a rational brain not a jingoist youtube account.

Never underestimate that incredible stupidity of the American people, esp in the bigoted south, should be subtitle to this ode to idiocy set to the usual rigntwingtard "stirring" musical accompaniment.

I love how this kid uses a ton of war photos, but he & his proud mom blatantly, ignorantly IGNORE the FACT that, in past wars, our citizens have gladly answered the call to SACRIFICE for the war effort, which also included paying more taxes.

Right now, we are in two wars, plus a recession, and these self-absorbed, selfish wingtards are protesting a slight tax increase for the wealthier among us... said tax increase will actually be LESS than that paid under Saint Ronnie of the Raygun, who's ugly face is highlighted against the Brandenberg Gate.

Boo hoo... I also love how this kid throws in everything & the kitchen sink. Capt. Sully?? Why not? Neil Armstrong? Yeah, baby.

And then also Dorothea Lang's classic photo from the great depression, which, uh, somehow connotes into: don't pay any taxes?

It is getting really boring to keep say: teh stooopedity, it burns...

Where to even start with this?

The founding fathers wanted redress of issues not all out war at first.

Governments should not be changed for light or transient reasons. They said that too.

They like to throw Thomas Payne around, They should also read the Age of Reason. They may not like him so much any more.

I did not see any Civil War things in the video I guess the whole era did not happen. Followed by reconstruction.

A lack of Government regulation was a major factor that led to the Great Depression. It was also the Government involvement that helped end it.

WWII didn't the government force people to ration things? We were able to sacrifice for the Government then?

The Black Soldier they showed well most of the military thought they were not to be trusted in anything other than support roles. The Government had to forcefully create special black units.

I got sick of it my then so that is were I stopped.

Really? A 4-minute slide show of war pictures with text added to a few of them and stock music in the background? That's the best you can do?
