In short, Republicans blame Democrats for blocking their ridiculous plans for a balanced budget amendment, ridiculously over-reaching cuts to everything except the military, and plans to bring the very same mess up in six months' time so we can stay in crisis mode until elections. No deals, no exceptions, no bargaining.
Somehow, Democrats are to blame for not entertaining economic terrorism.
And yet we got very nearly all of that in the end. Thanks, Obama!
