Subject: FW: CNN News, not Fox -- You won't believe this!
I think this is more than I can take --- has congress gone nuts?
And I thought Obama was done inflicting indignities to the American people! Please pass this to as many Americans as you can.
I KNEW this was going to happen. (That way Obama wasn't lying when he said illegals would not be able to get medical coverage under his ObamaCare plan. His simple fix is to make them all legal first.)
EVERYONE--PLEASE TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS--IT TELLS ABOUT THE BILL GOING THRU CONGRESS RIGHT NOW REGARDING IMMIGRATION.
EVEN CNN IS UPSET ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!
Pass this on after you watch it.
This 2-minute video should be mandatory viewing for every US citizen. If you have never passed anything on before, pass this on! Every American should be outraged!

This bill was proposed during the Bush administration in 2007.
This is NOT a bill being proposed by Obama!!!
It is NOT going through congress right now.
Don't believe all these Left Wing Conspiracy Theories. Check the Facts.
If you think this is more proof that the administration is hurting America, blame the administration that was in place when the bill was going through congress.
The Bush administration.
I, for one, see this as a bad bill that simply was voted down in 2007. It wasn't a bad Bush bill, it was a bad Senate bill.
Do a little research before you believe this crap! It takes about 5 minutes to research this.
It never passed the Senate. See the Heritage Foundation (a conservative think tank) article of May 23, 2007.

Wikipedia article on this:
The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007, or, in its full name, the Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (S. 1348) was a bill discussed in the 110th United States Congress that would have provided legal status and a path to citizenship for the approximately 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants currently residing in the United States. The bill was portrayed as a compromise between providing a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants and increased border enforcement: it included funding for 300 miles (480 km) of vehicle barriers, 105 camera and radar towers, and 20,000 more Border Patrol agents, while simultaneously restructuring visa criteria around high-skilled workers. The bill also received heated criticism from both sides of the immigration debate. The bill was introduced in the United States Senate on May 9, 2007, but was never voted on, though a series of votes on amendments and cloture took place. The last vote on cloture, on June 7, 2007, 11:59 AM, failed 34-61 effectively ending the bill's chances. A related bill S. 1639, on June 28, 2007, 11:04 AM, also failed 46-53.
Here is what Obama actually said about immigration reform:
Obama said during the campaign that two things are needed for immigration reform. He said the government needs to secure the borders (promise No. 286 ) and provide a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants (promise No. 288 ). Both promises are now rated No Action, but we've read new reports that say Obama will address immigration reform this year.
He's taken steps to appease critics of illegal immigration in the debate over health care reform. For example, he added restrictions to specifically bar illegal immigrants from using their own money to purchase health insurance through any new health insurance exchanges. (Pending proposals already barred illegal immigrants from receiving subsidized care.)
Obama said that he will not push for a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants in 2009, so we rate this promise Stalled.
Oh, and, of course, it's Lou Dobbs. Who represents liberal, mainstream CNN. With regards to immigration. Smoooooooth.
Good luck with your new career on FAUX, Lou.
It's where all you bigots eventually end up.
Yes, this 2 minute video should be "mandatory viewing" for all conservatives who need to learn under which Admin this bill was proposed.
And no surprises that it's Lou Slobbs talking about this. Sheesh. Rumor has it that CNN fired is ass because of his unmitigated racism, but yes, Gruaud, that certainly makes him a prime candidate for Fake "News."
The lengths they will go to in order to generate more fear and hate. RW folks are addicted to fear, and need their fix from radio, tv and email everyday.
Repub's have made fear an expression of patriotism. I wish the Dems would start a campaign against fear. This has all gotten so silly. Fear + stupid = Glenn Beck.

Interesting blog at Firedoglake about Conservative "leadership" and whether they are genuinely fearful or manipulative.
I vote for the latter, myself.
Oh I agree Anon. I'll have to read the article. The Republic leadership are manipulating and their followers are the only ones who are full of fear. Because, so far fear has worked well for the Republic's while nothing else has. Still I wonder just how long they can usefully keep this up? Yes, their base will always lap up the fear. But for the rest of us this constant stream of criticism about everything Obama seems only a petty and dull rehashing of yesterday's news. And Republic's risk becoming caricatures of themselves in the process.
I hope you're right Bebe.
Daily one wonders: ok, what hissy fit are the GOPers gonna throw today? Because that's the way it seems to me. A steady stream of: ohmigawd, ohmigawd, ohmigawd, ohmigawd, ohmigawd.
How longs do they get to keep crying wolf before most of us pay no attention? Or have we reached that tipping point?
Seems to me like we are already ignoring these "henny-pennies" for constantly shrieking that the sky is falling.
As most here have voiced: don't mind constructive criticism and a loyal opposition. But this junk serves no useful purpose other than to rile up the base.
