Why? Studies have shown that people who get their news from Fox are not only more misinformed than people who get their news from other sources, but they're also more misinformed than people who don't watch any news at all.
You may choose your source:

The people in the video probably ARE Fox News viewers.
Conservative voters are easily the most fact-challenged people on the planet.
But I would bet that most of those kids sussed out it was Jimmy Kimmel and were just having fun with it.
Some people can be manipulated into treating a matter of national concern as a positive thing, while other people can be manipulated into treating a comedy routine as a reason to piss their pants. I'll take the clueless crowd over the angry, pissy crowd any day.
I strongly suspect that these Los Angeles millenials were either coached to react the way they did and/or, as suggested, they did it for the laffs.
Gee, if RWD is gonna piss his panties and freak out over Jimmy Kimmel comedy routines, what next? Witnessing a video of kittens jumping out of box and RWD runs screaming in horror from his room?
I love the way RWD jumps to the conclusion that the people in this video are Liberals or that they even take the time to vote. The question wasn't asked "Who would you vote for?" so that's just a common jumping to conclusion exercise rampant in the Fox News watching crowd. This is along the same lines as the video that went around asking people to sign a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide and people were jumping all over it because they phrased it in negative connotation.
Fox News is proof positive the gullible can be manipulated so I wouldn't hold that up as a bastion of fact-based reporting.

Why? Based on what information, RWD?
Oh? Some rightwing think tank pulled this outta their left butt cheek and sent it to you, so you'd get predictably riled up? No facts need be checked.
What a surprise. Not.
Talk about a rightwing humor FAIL. RWD directed to "believe in" a Jimmy Kimmel comedy act.
RWD - pwnd again by rightwing think tanks. Dolts.
