What was that about being all patriotic-y and support the Pres during a time of Warz, Inc?? Aren't we engaged in War in at least 3 places now?? And so the T-GOP sees fit to diss the Commander in Chief in a very puerile (no suprise) way?? Good going, all you super patriotic-y constitution "loving" (even tho you never read it), Bible-thumping (even tho you never read it) "great" citizens! Way to set an example... of how NOT to behave.

File this one under: typical rightwing hypocritical double standards.

So right ferschitz that RWers don't bother to read the documents they revere. Because that might cause them to have to revise their understanding of said documents. It is easier to just assume they know all there is to know about politics and their own religion. A childish approach to life. This cartoon seems a great example of right-wing projection.

Perhaps one of our Right Wing friends can explain this to me.

Why is Obama on a tricycle? Why are the soldiers chasing him in tanks?

Are they angry because he pulled them out of Iraq?

Did this happen to George W. Bush, too? If not, why not?

gruaud said...

All they have left is projecting their own childishness.

Oh, the irony.

Yeah, it's time of war. Dissent during war is treason! (I know because the right-wingers said so over and over again during the dreary Bush years.) Obama should fulfill the fondest dreams of the teabaggers and round them up for sedition. After all, they expect no less, right? (Good thing he kept Gitmo open for them.)

We need a "gifs are hilarious" tag, obviously.

I remember too during the Bush years, these same right-wingers would have called you a traitor if you didn't support the president no matter what. Funny how that attitude is different now with a different president.

They must not also realize that it was Bush who put those troops in Iraq in the first place.

Agree with all comments, but in the end, I have to say: I don't really "get" it. Obama has just continued the Bushco WAR policies, if anything doubling down on them.

I realize that it's the intention of the Rightwing think tanks to gin up the racism & bigotry of the conservabaggers, as this drivel so aptly demonstrates.

But stepping back into reality for a moment: how has Obama proven himself to be a scaredy-cat or a pussy or whatever it is that this is trying to "prove"??

Ok. Enough of being "logical" about this junk. It's just b.s. pumped out by rightwing thinktanks to encourage conservatives to be know-nothing racist bullying jerks.

In that sense: Mission Accomplished!

Terrorists fly our planes into our people and kill 3000 Americans and Bush calls for the head of a dictator who himself and his henchmen has killed 100's of thousands of his people and you call it a war crime. Libya's colonel has killed many of his people (no US citizens)and the BO tells congress that he is sending in fighter jets, and you pussy footed doves say it's OK??? We became a strong country when we used force to aquire freedom for US citizens and other powerless people, not because we backed down.
BO is being chased down because of these policies..

Holy hell, are you idiots STILL linking Saddam with 9/11? Get this in your head: THERE WAS NO CONNECTION! NONE!!!!!

Iraq War II was a horrible idea for a war which was then horribly mismanaged and has cost this country dearly. Thousands of servicemen lost, many more maimed for live, trillions in taxes down the drain along with America's reputation in the world. I never called it a "war crime" (though I'm sure some were committed). I just call it a stupid fucking idea.

Libya's colonel has killed many of his people (no US citizens)and the BO tells congress that he is sending in fighter jets, and you pussy footed doves say it's OK???

Actually there has been a lot of questioning coming from the left on this, and even many of those who are OK with this so far are giving only the mildest of support.

We became a strong country when we used force to aquire freedom for US citizens and other powerless people, not because we backed down.

Wait, what? So now Libya is a good thing in you mind? Or its still a bad thing because it was a Democrat which did it?

BO is being chased down because of these policies..

Chased down by who? His approval holds solid despite a shitty economy, ongoing crises, and a constant whine from the right about everything he does and doesn't do.

Majorities approve of his handling of Libya and strong majorities currently favor US action there. Just like strong majorities favored DADT repeal.

I'm as leftwing as they come. I was utterly against the US going into Afganistan after 9/11 bc I knew that the Bush family would never ever "capture" their best friend's son, Osama bin Laden. and I knew the Bush crine family would use it an excuse to get bogged down in a quagmire in Afganistan in order for them & their wealthy elite pals to make lotsa money offa the "conflict."

Was I wrong or right??

I totally protested the "war" in Iraq bc I KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt that Bush was LYING big-time about Weapons of Mass Destruction, plus I knew that Fox, etc, was pumping out LIES about how Saddam was "behind" Al Qaeada & Osama, when, in fact, Saddam had brutally kept Al Qaeda OUT of Iraq.

Osama & his gang was funded mostly by the Saudi's, who are famously very close friends with the Bush Crime family.

Now I am utterly against the so-called "No Fly Zone" bombing of Libya bc it's just Obama's way of paying back BP for their "great loss" due to their very preventable Oil volcano disaster this summer, which has polluted the Gulf of Mexico and is causing illness for some US citizens plus loss of businesses, etc.

Think I'm kidding?? Libya is only about BigOil making money.

In no case have I felt that ANY of these three "Wars" has made USA "stronger" or whatever romanticized fabulous fairy tale some citizens wish to believe. That's a LIE. They're all ginned up exercises in futility, which have run this nation into the ground, ruined forever our good name and is resulting in turning our nation into a third world country.

Cling to yer tinpot "gods 'n gunz" theories if you must, but the Elites spit on T-GOPers as much as they hate leftie serfs.

The real true WAR that's going on these days is called CLASS WARFARE, and it's being waged on all middle & working class Americans, no matter how you vote.

Wake Up. Get a Clue.

Hahahaha, when, at any time since WWII, has this been the case? Are we more "free" thanks to our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Finally, even Senator Barack Obama would have been against such action in Libya--

"The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."

So said constitutional scholar and Senator Barack Obama in December 2007 – the same man who, last weekend, ordered U.S. air and missile strikes on Libya without any authorization from Congress.

Kinda reminds me of Candidate Bush in 2000, saying that he was against "nation building" exercises. How did that work out for you?

FYI: The President does have constitutional authority through the UN Charter to authorize the use of force as agreed to by the UN security council. Which is exactly what happened.

Fail again, troll.
