Fw: What do people fear most

Curator's note: This RWFWD: is a mash-up of several already in the archive.

Subject: Fw: What do people fear most

You might say this defines a dramatic difference between
Americans and deadbeats ! ! ! - - - - -

I have read this before (pretty funny!) but the numbers by Prof Olson are new and quite eye opening….

Suzi Jordan

WHAT DO PEOPLE FEAR MOST??

This is pathetic, but darn funny/serious when you think about it for a second.

Two magazines, Country Living (95.99% white readership) and Ebony /Jet (99.99% black readership) did surveys on....

"WHAT DO PEOPLE FEAR MOST?" The results were interesting, to say the least...

Country Living magazine's top three answers were:
1. Nuclear war/terrorist attack in U.S
2. Child/spouse dying
3. Terminal illness

Ebony / Jet magazine's top three answers were:
1. Ghosts
2. Dogs
3. Registered mail

No Kidding... And these are the people who put Obama over the top; what would you expect?

AND TO GO ALONG WITH ALL OF THIS, I'LL SHARE TWO QUOTES; ONE PITIFUL AND ONE GREAT!

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me, as we change it."-- Barack Obama

''Life's tough, pilgrim, and it's even tougher if you're stupid.'' John Wayne

Read on!!!!
Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning November's Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 -  McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 -  McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million -  McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 - McCain: 2.1
Professor Olson adds:

"In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."
Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of what Obama is doing, then by all means, delete this message.

If you are not, then you might want to pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake.

Wow, its like the ultimate mash up of shitty, stupid email forwards!

A Right Wing Forward Voltron, sweeping through the Interwebs to spread hate, racism, ignorance and idiocy!

Oh, if only presidential candidates were elected based on the aggregate square mileage of the districts they carried! Then we'd have a respectable democracy! Why should it all be based on counting people? Cows and empty prairie deserve representation, too!

I sure am glad conservaphobes base their opinions on what they read on a "rightwing" blog. Don't lefties, Demon-crats have their own blog so we hijack them and spread horse crap about supposed emails they come up with?

Hey last Anon-poster: PLEASE provide ONE example of any leftwing forward you can come up with, and then I'll have a discussion with you. Until such time as provide an example of that, then I think you're blowing smoke.

And no, I hardly base my "opinions" about conservatives based solely on the rightwing forwards I see here, which, in fact, are mostly pretty tame when compared with the daily crap spewed out on any Fox "nooz" report at any time of day, much less any of the nasty bullying attacking nonsense eminating from the lips of such rightwing luminaries as Glenn Beck (who was just FIRED for being such a lying asshole), Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Malkin, Bill O'Reilly, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin, etc etc.

Riddle me up a list of lefties as lengthy as that, and then let's talk.

Plus I also talk daily with Republican and T-Party family, friends, acquaintances and work mates.

Do YOU ever venture forth and really *read* leftwing blogs? Do you have *any* really leftwing friends that you have deep discussions with? Be honest now... I'm guessing the answer is: NO, not really.

Try again...

Who was that was just recently chiding ferschitz for allegedly being too sensitive to seeing racism in every RWF??

I mean, it's not too hard to spot it 99.9% of the time. Just saying.

Except it's not horse crap.

These are your e-mails from conservatives just like you. This site collects them and we comment on them, sometimes harshly. And the reason we can be harsh is because they are usually incredibly offensive and almost always disingenuous.

That may be a function of conservative thinking, so that's where you can help. Feel free to analyze them for us, we'd love to hear it. But what you won't be able to do is disown them. They're from your tribe, alright.

And I've visited RW blogs many times: Free Republic, Red State, Little Green Footballs, Malkin, Powerline, etc. The commenters there pretty much back up the hatefulness of these forwards.

See we should take away the right to vote from the poor and the brown.

gruaud is right--this is the real stuff. For every commentator on TV, even for every random conservative who can collect himself enough to put together a blog, there are dozens of average Joe the Plumbers sending around emails and ardently believing in them.

Hooray4US said...

Agree with Katz & gruaud, and THAT is what I fear the most: that tons and tons of voters ardently believe in crap like this and base their lives and voting decisions on such junk.

The unspoken point in Anon's post is that this site is supposed to be a "right-wing" blog being hijacked by lefties.

It hurts seeing links here passed around by right-wing Twitter accounts as just one more "HERE'S THE TRUTH!" source for the echo chamber.
