FW: "I Wipe My A** With the American Flag": The New Civility of the Left on Display

Great Video showing just how rational the liberal left really is!

Socialist Counter Protest to Tax Day TEA Party
DATELINE Portland Oregon - 15 April 2011
Socialists were out in full force to counter the peaceful patriotic Tax Day Protest in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Here are just a few sample quotations found in these clips. "look ... I wipe my ass with the flag every night when I ... when I take a shit man. You got it? Are you gonna to handle about it? Huh? You got any balls? ... Huh? Bring your Mom I'd like to f*ck her. Bring your Republican Mama I'd like to f*ck her in the ass." "Shove the flag up your ass ... asshole." "Hey take a picture of this. Hey you f*cking homo right here." "I'm gonna make a stencil out of this Mother F*cker." "God Damn the USA!"

It's cute how the right wing nuts get offended. They always say they have guns and we have the Priuses, but God forbid we're angry at a protest, and immediately they become the victims.

So... if the nutcases on the left are all representative of all liberals everywhere, does this mean every Tea Partier with a poster of Obama with a bone through his nose is representative of all conservatives?

'Cause I thought we'd spent the last year being told that such people are liberal plants just to make them look bad.

Granted, that one guy wanting to fuck your Republican mom is pretty offensive. Let's call him a lunatic outlier, the kind of fringe people that exist on the right, too. Don't pretend otherwise.

Do you seriously think that this somehow justifies your own corrosive, hateful discourse?

That if the GOP Speaker of the House passes around a script so that Republicans can demonize all Democrats as vacillating traitors, and if the Left kicks back with not even one tenth of that venom, they are the ones who are uncivil?

That if a woman pundit is willing to abrogate her rights, then that should serve all women?

That if a black professor equates a minimum wage with slavery, then treating all blacks as inferior is acceptable?

That shit will never fly with the rest of us.

Hey folks, I could cut and paste all day highlight example after example of Tea Party outright violence and/or inappropriate behavior, and I haven't even gotten to the daily incendiary & bullying & attacking language used by Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck (who advocated, among many other things, killing Barack Obama & Nancy Pelosi, as well as burning liberals), Sean Hannity, Michele Malkin, Bill O'Reilly, and a whole host of rightwing "shock jocks" across this nation.

So we had some nasty person saying the "f" word and other rude stuff at a counter protest to the Tea Party in Portland recently. Yeah, that's not good, but I DULY note that this RWF immediately identifies this person & others who are counter-protesting the allegedly "peaceful" Tea Party protest as "Socialists." NOTE the incendiary language to mis-label the counterprotestors, who are probably NOT socialists (not that there's anything wrong with socialism, either, but it's a totally *loaded* term now that the rightwing media has made it that way).

At most, they are just leftwing and/or are just trad. Democratic voters. The demonization - by using loaded words like "Socialist" - is no accident in this victimizing screed who appears to paint a picture of holier than thou Tea Partiers - who have never ever done one tiny thing wrong - and then highlight one ignorant person (purportedly on the left) - and from that ONE person villify and smear the ENTIRE populace who happens to identify as left or Democratic.

I also duly NOTE that this nasty screed conveniently labels the Tea Partiers as being "patriotic" (why??? how so?? what's so "patriotic" about protesting taxes???), whilst demonizing those who counter-protest in favor of paying their fair share of taxes.
Nice try. Bunch of unmitigated crap. Agree that person was wrong to behave that way.

WHEN are Tea Partiers going to "own up" and say that their behavior is OFTEN worse, and there's usually MORE of exhibiting behavior that's in poor taste at best, if not violent, at worst. I won't hold my breath. It's rare to never that one sees conservatives owning up to bad behavior, much less taking any responsibility when conservatives are violent, up to including killing workers in abortion clinics (which I didn't touch on before this).

Believe me, I just barely scratched the tip of the iceberg. I'll stop now, but brother! What a load of bullshit this one is.

Is that the same "grown up" Wonkette blogger who renders his hateful diatribe against Downs Syndrome babies? That was not his first time talking trash against any and all conservatives.
Isaiah 32:6 For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise profaneness, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.

Well, golly gee, fake Christian, what about the hateful diatribes vs liberals?

That's ok, right?

Look, until you can police your own side, we're not interested in your holier-than-thou bullshit.

Let me put it so even you can understand:

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

Dear Jesus, protect me from your dimwitted followers.

Since a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ raised from the dead, then there is no such "fake Christian". A person is either a Christian or non Christian just as people are either left wing or not. A Christian believes that GOD sent His Son to die on a cross to pay for the sins of all people. GOD hates sin so much that all sinners would have to die and go to hell as payment for those sins. If a person who trusts in GOD and Jesus Christ as their Savior, then they will be able to live in heaven for eternity. That is my belief and I made the comment on Easter for that reason. Everbody on this blog makes their beliefs known, and that is what I was doing.
The postings and the following comments (including those made by Christians) show that all people are sinful, but Christians can rejoice in the fact that those sins are taken away by Jesus Christ's death and resurrection if they believe in Him.
Not all right wingers are Christian, but that is what you imply. Christians are viewed by the left as racist, homphobic, KKK follower, tea bagger, et al. So assuming all postings made here are by Christians is a false assumption.

gruaud said...

There are plenty of fake Christians out there, many of them on your TV. You should be on guard against them, as they are a far worse enemy than other, competing religions. A fake Christian is someone who pretends to be a Christian. Are you pretending?
Posts like yours certainly makes one wonder.

Nor do I imply that all Christians are RW. I know a great many LW Christians who are kind, genuine, and actually understand the teachings of Jesus. I even know some RW Christians who are true Christians, although this breed tends to be more authoritarian and intolerant.

Bottom line: don't play semantics or try to build logical constructs with me. You are way out of your league.

If you can do nothing else, try to live your life as Jesus would.

You could do a lot worse, and many so-called Christians have.

aaaannnddddd as usual the rightwing Christian person, who has a point of view, in no way addresses that hate-filled and nasty attacking by rightwingers against those of the left.

Yet quotes someone from Wonkette??

heh... maybe this Christian enjoys reading the snide remarks on Wonkette, plus all the sexytime stuff.

Do conservatives get that Wonkette is pretty much about being extremely cynical and ironic? Doesn't seem like it.

I would suggest that if rightwingers get upset by potshots taken at Sarah Palin's kids (after all, Palin, herself, SHOVED them out into the spotlight), then they'd best be served by not visiting Wonkette. I rarely go there, myself, but for my own reasons. Yet I don't really care what they say; I get where they're coming from. It's their business.
