We need to use this as an anthem for these times.
even if you are not an Eagles fan, this one is good.

Do conservatives know that Don Henley is a big time Democrat, who gives lots of money to Democratic candidates? That he's a big time environmentalist and conservationist?
As for the song, does this mean that conservatives are finally going to get over the fact that Obama won the election fair and square in overwhelming fashion, and going to stop acting like little babies about it? Somehow I doubt it.
Sounds like Henley is singing about Republicans,
alright.
Our president is black. Get over it.
Heh - what? Did some leftie sneak this "anthem for our times" onto their rightwing dad's email forward list??
Henley's song really goes to the heart of what the Tea Party and Republics need to do: get over it!!
This is one forward I can get behind! Yeah: get over it!
ROTFLMAO... Mr. Leftie Don Henly singing "Get Over It." Do you think some lefite kid of a rightwing dad snuck out this email as if it was coming from the usual rightwing sources??
Just goes to show that these people don't really read or review or look at these things. They just get suitably enraged at leftists when they scan the titles and then pass them on...
That's gotta be the explanation, especialy for this one. LOL!
Granted, when it's a video, I just read the title and move on, too.
Um, right-wing idiots? Try doing just a LITTLE research once in a while, okay? Not the hard kind of research, involving libraries and big books with small print. No, jut the super-easy kind of research, where you type something into Google, hit search, and spend 5 minutes reading the Wikipedia link.....
From Wikipedia:
"In 1990, Henley founded the Walden Woods Project to help protect "Walden Woods" from development.... Henley co-founded the non-profit Caddo Lake Institute in 1993 to underwrite ecological education and research. As part of the Caddo Lake Coalition, CLI helps protect the Texas wetland where Henley spent much of his childhood.....
In 2000, Henley co-founded with Sheryl Crow the Recording Artists' Coalition, a group founded to protect musicians' rights against common music industry business practices....
He has also been a generous donor to political campaigns. Henley has always been a supporter of the Democratic Party."
So waddya know! Henley's an environmentalist, an anti-corporatist, and a Democrat!
Now who do you suppose Henley really thinks needs to "get over it"?
