Fw: [Fwd: The Gathering Storm Of The US Gov't]

Friends,

Please note the excellent piece of art (The Gathering Storm) that is shown above.

When the storm finally hits (and it will), those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won’t just be us gun owners or Flat Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You’ll be right there next to us.

You see, you all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know, all of us who believe in God, small government, the
Second Amendment, etc. And you thought you could just go back to sleep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You’ll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television – it’s all good. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost – go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as “politics as usual” – “the same old stuff”. In the end, it’ll all be OK won’t it?

Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government’s grab of personal freedom, it’s blatant abuse of the constitution, and it’s attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won’t start that fight, but when it goes down I will join it.

As for you, why… you’ll be shocked because you didn’t see it coming. And eventually you’ll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You’ll be saddened that your children and grandchildren live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you’ll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in.

You know, McCain wasn’t much of a candidate. I’ll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don’t blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn’t know what we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way of life and he understood that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation.

Mark my words friends. All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America . They’re not militia groups, terrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe…. they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are
mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Peaceful Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, wait for it…get ready. It will happen.

When that event happens, whatever “it” is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country.

Geez. I hope the FBI, the Secret Service and whomever else is monitoring such stuff as this.

It is growing scarier to watch these nuts be pumped up by the likes of Sarah Palin, Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, John Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, et al.

Then IF something bad does happen - as posited by Rachel Maddow & Keith Olbermann - all of the above GUILTY AS SIN pundits will throw their arms in the air shrieking: "It's not MY fault!!"

Hatred is a disease, and all I see is the Reichwing fanning the flames and pouring gasoline on the fire. It's ugly; it's scary; and frankly, I sincerely hope no others have to die... too many have died already, such as Dr. Tiller, those 3 cops in Pittsburgh, and others.

UGH. How these people can act this way and still maintain that they are "patriots" is way beyond my imagination. UGH.

They should be ashamed of themselves, but clearly, there is no shame, and they stoop at nothing to get their alleged needs met.

There is nothing "democratic" about this. This has nothing to do w/"democracy." It's about a bunch of thugs being riled up and being manipulated like Pavlov's dogs.

Peace, I hope. Be careful out there.

I can't really add much to "anonymous", above.

The right wing and even some people who would normally be average-middle-of-the-road, friends and family, conservatives are getting cranked up more and more by this rhetoric.

It's a steady beat of fear & hate and it's only getting louder and faster.

They ignore facts and reason, they only listen to the beat of fear & hate, fear & hate, fear & hate.

Not content with shutting down democratic debate, the Screamers are already starting to bring guns to the health care town halls.

I don't think it will be long before one of these nuts pops off and kills somebody.

They are already resorting to thuggery near where I live: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/20358077/detail.html

My god, what easily-led dupes. The gun manufacturers must be laughing themselves silly.
Profiting on these idiots as they are led by the nose.

Just don the brown-shirts and cue Gustav Holst's
'Mars, The Bringer of War', already.

And, oh yes, you ARE terrorists. There's NO mistake about that. You're also cowards.

And people wonder why government authorities monitor their activities.

Also, for additional lulz:

"But at least John McCain was an American."

Well, unlike Barak Obama who has a birth certificate from Hawaii (even if they refuse to acknowledge it as legit), John McCain was born in the PANAMA CANAL ZONE which was, most assuredly, not part of the US, only an overseas territory.

It really is ironic though.

In the right-wing world, violent movies, music, and video games make people kill, but eliminationist rhetoric broadcast nightly on the cable news outlet has no effect on the populace.

Besides, everyone knows that those conservatives who go out on a shooting spree...

1) Aren't really conservatives
2) Don't represent the movement
3) Were framed by the liberals/leftists/government.

What's even more ironic is that we're talking about changing health insurance. This isn't about conscription to send youth into ill-started wars, where they'll get killed.

These crazed lunatics shriek about "don't touch my health ins" as if it's the holy grail or something. I don't about others but I've watched my health ins premiums rise steadily for years, my deductibles have also gotten higher, and I'm not wholly assured about the amount of coverage I'd get in some dire health emergency situation.

What BHO is attempting to do is reign in greedy bastards in Big Ins whose profits have grown exponentially for years, and most of the CEOs make over $11mill every year.

These stooges & dupes want to start shooting people simply so that health ins CEOs continue to rake in the bucks over their dead granny's body...

It's really beyond ... I dunno beyond something. I just hope no one gets killed, but I have concern for the worst at this point.

Do the math: John McCain is WHITE, and Barrack Obama is BLACK (at least in their eyes).

Hence, McCain is a reel 'murkin, whilst NOdummer is not.

Simple, really. gah!!!!

Since no one has mentioned this: ART?!? An "excellent piece of art"?!? THAT thing? Seriously? And you wonder why we think y'all are nut cases.

And, I have to mention, that I will not really feel all that bad if any of those crazies get killed trying to overthrow a democratically elected (and still majority-supported) government. I just hope they don't hurt any of the sane citizens or police/national guard/secret service or low-level civil servants.

These are the same people who like Thomas Kinkade, so we'll leave the art critiques aside.

Remember, all us lefties get to keep our guns for personal safety on the "death panels" were starting for "socialized medicine".

Hey - I installed several death panels on the roof of my house, and it's saved me 30% on my utility bills...

(a little levity to lighten the load... now if only the loons would lighten up, too).

That looks like Laura Bush on the right-hand side, but I must be wrong about that.

It'll be interesting to talk about these days with our grandkids a few decades down the line. They'll ask, "How could people ever have believed the half-term former governor of Alaska and beauty queen also-ran when she said that death panels would kill the elderly and handicapped? Wasn't that always as ridiculous as it seems now?"
