Fwd: quote of the day

QUOTE OF THE DAY?

In a time where so much is being made about our first alleged black president, Ann Coulter made the following observation in her column on 2/25/2009:

"But as long as the nation is obsessed with historic milestones, is no one going to remark on what a great country it is where a mentally retarded woman can become speaker of the house?"

RETARDED IS A FUNNY WORD HUUUUR.

Seriously, anyone who considers this kind of twelve-year-old boy level of humour "funny" is not worth taking seriously on any level. Not at all. Not even if they shout "Duck! It's a flaming brick flying at your head!"

Or a pre-operative tranny whose adam's apple is larger than her brain can get a weekly syndicated column?

Just as lovely as always, Ms. Coutler.

I never took Ann Coulter seriously, but someone (maybe the Nation) did an interview with her a few years ago that started with "Who is currently engaged in sodomy with you?" Her response was to rely on the "right of privacy". Yeah, privacy for you, not for other women. So, now when I see her spout off, I think of that inteve

Marc, there's no need to be unkind about pre-operative transsexuals. Even if Ann Coulter were one, that's got nothing to do with anything. Her odious personality, on the other hand...

(don't mean to ruin the funny, but I have a friend who's a pre-operative transsexual, and she's great, so it makes me sad to see it used as an insult)

"If we're so cruel to minorities, why do they keep coming here? Why aren't they sneaking across the Mexican border to make their way to the Taliban?" - Ann Coulter

So, let me see... BHO makes an admittedly rather lame joke re the Special Olympics and the right wing (and some on the left) went up in flames about how horrid he was. There were all these right wing ladies on teh talk radio moaning about how they had been crying & crying b/c BHO doesn't love their "special needs" child, and of course, Bible Spice had her say about how horrid it all was.

But Ann Coultergeist spouts out this much more inflamed and nasty rhetoric, and where, oh, where is the right wing outrage??? Oh yeah, in case y'all forgot: IOKIYAR!!

PS I agree about not mocking the Coulterpig for possibly being a tranny. I, too, know some trannies, and they are wonderful folk.

Celia,

I have friends who are both pre- and post-op transsexuals as well. Good for them.

Having said that, there is something decidedly lulzy about the fact that the masterbatory dream girl of so many wingers looks like something they spend most of their time condemning on a Sunday morning as unnatural.

Kind of like how there's something decidedly funny about how fat basement dwellers spend their time pining over Japanese school girls and talk about how if they were in the army, they would totally kick some Haji ass. And I have fat friends too.

Or in the case of Ann Coulter...

Being a woman =/= particularly funny.

Being a woman who is on record as saying she wishes the 19th amendment had never passed = hilarious.
