Subject: Boomers 1, Generation X Zero
A very self-important college freshman attending a recent football game, took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
"You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one", the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. "The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with dsl, bsp; light-speed processing .....and," here he paused to take another drink of beer..
The Senior took advantage of the break in the student's litany and said, "You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young..... so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little shit, what are yo u doing for the next generation?"
The applause was resounding.

I really wish I could have been there for that one!

What the fuck is BSP
Ugh. Makes me ashamed to be a Boomer. None of my friends feel this way at all and would never say stuff like this. This is just an example of the incessent whining of self-righteous, sanctimonious right-wing types. So take heart, Gen X/Millenials. Not all of us old farts are this trogloditic & stupid.
"...Invent more things?" would be the first response on my mind.
But of course in these emails, there's never a rebuttal because they've been shamed and humbled.
Also, how loud were they yelling at each other for the whole of a football game to hear them?
