Paradoxical Quote of The Day From Ben Stein:
"Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."
Now add this, "Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens."

Think about it when you vote in November !

The paradox in this quote is that it wasn't said by Ben Stein. What do I win?
Also, illegal immigrants don't get free insurance.
Thanks, First Anon.
Why how ironic cuz, in actuality, it sure could have been said by douchebag Ben Stein.
Per usual, rightwing think tank phones it in. Too lazy to find no doubt similar for realz quote by Stein, but why bother? The TeaTardz won't care bc being all fact-y and truth-y doesn't matter to the rightwing Church-going set.
Nay, rather: MOAR fevered rightwing fantasies, pleeze!
Good points. I guess it demonstrates the need to go to a single payer system.
Yes, not only did he NOT say that, this is what he actually DID say:
"The U.S. should not be the only major industrial nation without health care for millions of poor citizens. People should not die, lose their homes or go into bankruptcy for getting illness and injury treated.
I have long believed this. More than 35 years ago, when I was a junior speech writer for Mr. Nixon in the White House, I wrote the message that sent up to Congress a proposal for the feds to buy health insurance for all of the indigent and lower middle class in the country. Mr. Nixon believed in it and so did I, then and now."
