At the Starbucks annual shareholders meeting on Wednesday, CEO Howard Schultz sent a clear message to anyone who supports traditional marriage over gay marriage: we don’t want your business. After saying Starbucks wants to “embrace diversity of all kinds,” he told a shareholder who supports traditional marriage that he should sell his shares and invest in some other company.

That's a funny way of spelling, "respecting diversity."

“If you feel, respectfully, that you can get a higher return than the 38% you got last year, it’s a free country. You can sell your shares of Starbucks and buy shares in another company. Thank you very much,” Schultz said, to applause from the audience.

The free market has spoken! How about it wingnuts?

Typical duplicitous twisting of Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz's words. He certainly didn't say: "if you support traditional marriage, we don't want your business."

A bald-faced LIE. Nice job rightwing think tank.

Go read the article to see what happened Tea Partiers. You can't always get your way, no matter how many temper tantrums you throw, while lying.

If you don't want to own shares in Starbucks due to their support of Gay Marriage: fine. That is YOUR choice, and you are entitled to sell your shares and invest in Chick-Fil-A or similar.

Free Market, bitches: get some.

Who knew the right-wing trailer park set were large holders of Starbucks stock?

As with so many of these things, Snopes has an article that fact checks the claims. http://www.snopes.com/politics/sexuality/starbucks.asp
