Tax these churches then they can make this crap.
Thought provoking indeed. Some thoughts it provoked:
Who was dumb enough to make this awful crap?
Who is dumb enough to believe this crap?
Why should I listen to an organization with zero credibility?
And so on
I think the funniest part is the difference in reactions between the "Catholic" version of the video and the "Evangelical" version. The top comments for the former excoriate the Catholic church for attempting to hypocritically propagandize (even though the video is from some private video company that probably produced it independently), while the latter demand that people pray for change instead of trying to vote for it.
I'm aquainted with a very involved group of young Catholics 15-22 years old. These kids are mostly very tolerant of others. The kids who aren't tolerant were specifically taught to be intolerant by their parents, and usually those kids aren't interested in church. Today's Catholic youth include gays who are out, and those who had babies or abortions while in high school. They are regular young people. These young Catholics don't have the same attitude as many of the church leaders who try hard to make the gays and teen parents sit in the back of the church and keep quiet. Theirs is a losing battle. The tolerant will take over their religion from the intolerant. The only question is how many in the future will still want to belong to this hypocritical religion which just can't stop acting so unChrist-like? This could be said about many churches.
I was raised Catholic and shook off their brainwashing in high school. It wasn't really all that hard and I never looked back.
And, strangely enough, one of our Catholic teachers at our grammar school did indeed molest some of the younger children at my school and, instead of being tried, the whole horror show was hushed up and he was transferred to his third diocese in 4 years.
Shit, he's STILL probably molesting children.
So don't talk to me about morality, you fucking frauds.
Tax the churches.
You wanna play? You gotta pay.
