Here's a thought to Ponder

Ironically in this coming year, 2011, both Groundhog's Day and the
President's State of the Union address occur on the same day. As one
source has pointed out, "It is an ironic juxtaposition of events; one
event involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of
little intelligence for prognostication while the other involves a
groundhog."

He was editor of the Harvard Law Review which I guess proves that he is not intelligent. If he were white and had an R after his name he would be perceived a genius like GWBush.

This is an old joke - yet again - trotted out from the W days and recycled in a fruitlessly stupid way. But both fruitless & stupid appeal to braindead conservatives, so there you go.

I am less and less happy about Obama, myself, but this "joke" is pointless and meaningless under the circumstances. Per usual, it DISTRACTS conservatives from some very very real issues with Obama, which is that, along with Obama's hard-right NeoCon buddies, Obama has sold ALL voters out to the Oligarchy.

Engaging in fruitless name calling is just a distraction from some very real and pressing issues facing our nation. Braindead conservatives would rather settle for being schoolyard bullies and believing somehow that makes them the winner.

Despite his flaws and despite an obstructive congress, Obama has been one of the most productive presidents in the last 40 years.

But don't take my word for it; here's a comprehensive list.

He disappoints me at times, but that's because I'm leftier than Sandy Koufax.

I assume this one dates back to 2005, when the State of the Union was given on February 2...

...And not this year, when it's on January 25. Doh!
