Go Dutch . . . But Why Wait Until 2015? The Netherlands, where six per cent of the population is now Muslim, is scrapping multiculturalism. The Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands . A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads:"The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people". In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role.With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society. The letter continues: "A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens." It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands.The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants.For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law. The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner:"It is not the government's job to integrate immigrants." The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress. More specifically, the government imposed a ban on face-covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2014. Holland has done that whole liberal thing, and realized - maybe too late - that creating a nation of tribes, will kill the nation itself.

Skipping for the moment the notion that somehow the US Constitution & Bill of Rights constitutes "culture"...
Braindead rightwingers might want to wake up & smell the coffee that it's both branches of the UniParty who have trampled on & torn up the Constitution & most of the Bill of Rights. Conservatives have been easily mollified by the NRA supported 2d Amendment. All the caterwauling about how "Obama's comin' ta git yer gunz" has done the trick of distracting the rubes from the fact that the rest of the Bill of Rights has been shredded long ago.
Just ask citizens of Ferguson MO about how they "enjoy" their First Amend "rights" these days.

A lot of the unrest in the Middle East, Africa & elsewhere - which *may* be a cause for Muslims to migrate to Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia, USA - has been paid for by taxes of citizens of Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia and most especially the USA.
If rightwingers don't like Muslims moving here perhaps then they'd better start protesting all the Wars the USA declares with stunning abandon. Seems to me that liberals were called traitors back in the day when millions of us protested the initial Iraq invasion back in the early 2000s, under Bush the dumber.
We clearly saw that the Iraq War was about oil, money, profit. It has been irrefutably proven that Bush LIED about Saddam Hussein, WMD, etc, to LIE us into that expensive, senseless and useless War of aggression against Muslims.
All that's happened is that it's gotten much worse, not better (as we were lied to). Yet conservatives still manage to get pissed off when told the truth about this lying.
Now conservatives beef and whine about Muslims moving into westernized nations after WE have destroyed their home countries.
Well, what did you THINK would happen? Oh, that's right: you tuned into Fox & Rush, and they told you some b.s. that made you feel smugly superior in all of your glorious White-itude.
Well now the chickens come home to roost, and Fox & Rush & your asinine Tea Party politicians continue to LIE to you, but you feel smugly superior for blaming everything on someone else. Never taking any responsibility for the *choices* that you have made and endorsed.

There's a big difference between smaller Northern European nations, which have had fairly homogeneous populations for the past several centuries and the USA, Australia and Canada, who have had much more diverse populations, are much newer countries and cultures, and have until recently encouraged migrants to move to our nations.
I don't know if this RWF is even accurate about what is happening in Holland, or not. But it's spurious, at best, to use a Dutch immigration policy as what should be done in the USA. The two countries are very very different.
And maybe Holland has paid immigrants something when moved there. I don't know. But the USA does not pay immigrants when they move here. So this RWF is lying about that, per usual.
Can we get a Dutch style abortion, divorce, drug use, prostitution, gay marriage, tax policy and gun control culture as well? I'll take that trade.
