Love it.

Question: If it's not a big deal, why is Trump so angry and defensive about it?

Why is he now so mad about leaks?

Why did his NSA have to resign when it was revealed he talked to Russia?

Seems a tad inconsistent.

Notice the propaganda slant: ONLY Republicans have "dirt" dug up on them and reported by the big bad media. So unfair! This one time, Putin allegedly dug up some dirt on Dems, and just this one time only, the big bad media finally reported on it.

Uh, NO!

Dirt gets dug up about politicians on both side of the aisle. Sometimes it makes a big media splash. Often it doesn't.

But this propaganda goes hand in glove with the ongoing conservative meme about how totally victimized they are all of the time.

Yet another day ending in "y" in conservaworld.

But no LEFT leaning slant in the media in general....sure.

Gotcha.

Get out of your liberal bubble, ferschitz.

Nope. The so called "mainstream media" is mostly concerned with ratings, and will bend over backwards to try and appear "balanced" in worries that they might (god forbid!) offend conservatives.

The whole myth of this "liberal media" is the result of multiple generations of right wing whining, trying to work the refs and force this false balance. But no matter how much false balance they inject to appeal to conservatives, wingnuts still hate them and complain and try and push them further to the right.

As a result we get things like Paul Ryan being taken seriously as some kind of "policy wonk" when he's just an empty suit. Or sugar coated puff profiles of Trump's insane family and insane advisors, like the recent ones on Steve Bannon and Donald Trump Jr published in the WSJ and NYT, respectively. Gag.

I never said that there was no Left leaning slant in the media in general, Anon at 19:13. You are putting words in my mouth.

I referred to the political cartoon, which says specifically: "Usually that's done (eg, digging up dirt) only to Republicans..."

If you have an argument, you need to take it up with Rick McKee.

I wrote: "Dirt gets dug up about politicians on both side of the aisle. Sometimes it makes a big media splash. Often it doesn't."

How you can misconstrue my statement as "... no LEFT leaning slant in the media in general..." is beyond me. That's not at all what I said, nor is it even remotely what I'm implying.

Please read my words and take them exactly as they're meant.

In no way did I introduce the topic of whether the media in general is slanted either to the left, to the right, or is neutral.

I only discussed what this cartoon said, and my argument is solely with the statement there, alone.
