Fwd: A good and a must read fr Sam Mcguiness

    this is from Sam Mcguiness.

    > >>

    > >> >>> Last night a friend claimed that Donald Trump wouldn’t make a good president; he is brash, he is racist, he is a loudmouth; you know the normal things people learn to recite after being programmed by television news.

    > >> >>>  The one I loved was that, “Trump is arrogant.”

    > >> >>> My friend questioned if one man could make “that much difference in the world today.” To my friend's credit, she was respectful enough to let me respond when she asked,“Really, what has Trump done?”

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> I said, “In June of last year, Trump entered the race for president. In just a little over a year, Trump has single handedly defeated the Republican party.

    > >> >>>  He did so thoroughly. In fact, he did so in such a resounding way that the Republican Party now suffers from an identity crisis. He literally dismantled the party. Trump even dismantled and dismissed the brand and value of the Bush family.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>>Trump has Obama petrified that Trump will dismiss programs that weren’t properly installed using proper

    > >> >>> law.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> Trump has single handedly debunked and disemboweled any value of news media as we knew it—news now suffering from an all-time level of distrust and disrespect.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> Trump has leaders from all over the world talking about him, whether good or bad. Trust me, powerful men who have been president before weren’t liked by the global community. I doubt Mikhail Gorbachev liked Reagan when Reagan said, "Tear down that wall."

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> Trump has expressly disclosed the fraud perpetrated on the American public by Hillary Clinton. He has, quite literally, brought Hillary to her knees—if you believe that nervous tension and disorders offer physical side effects and damage.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>>Trump has unified the silent majority in a way that should be patently frightening to “liberals.” As the press accuses Trump of being a house of cards, Trump has proven the press is the real house of cards. He has whipped up the entire establishment into pure panic. Trump has exposed them for who they are and worse, what they are. George Clooney was right when he said Trump draws live news coverage of his podium that he’s not yet approached. Thanks, George, you were perfectly correct.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> What we see as headline news today are actually the last bubbles from the ship that is now sunk—meaning the standard news media, as a propaganda machine, has been exposed. They have no more value.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> In the same way Trump asked the African-American community this question, I asked you my friend, ”At this point, what do you have to lose?” We have mass cop shootings, riots in our streets, ambushed cops, double digit inflation, bombs blowing up in our cities, targeted police, a skyrocketing jobless rate, no economic growth, privately owned land being seized by the federal government, the worst racial tension in my lifetime, no God in schools, more abortions than ever, illegal aliens pouring into our country, sick veterans receiving no care, and a debt that doubled in seven years to $19 trillion. Are you really happy with the condition of the current system?

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> One man has done all of this in one year—one guy, and on his own dime. And with everything I’ve written above, you believe Trump hasn't done anything? You claim that you are afraid of Donald Trump? No wonder we’re in trouble.  You can say that Trump is a lousy presidential candidate. That’s your right. Just don’t ever say he’s not

     effective.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> That Megan Kelly, FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Huffington Post, the New York Times, Raleigh’s News and Observer, the AP, Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, and many more, failed to implement their collectively orchestrated lie on the American people against Trump, is actually a massive testament to Trump. The press colluded pure propaganda to accomplish his demise … and they have collectively failed and miserably.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> Here's just one example of how badly America is injured right now. There are high school football players on their knees during the national anthem simply because the press used as propaganda to program those kids to do that very thing. But, these kids are mimicking NFL stars the same way the same kids choose which brand of football shoe to purchase—they're overtly brain-washed to do that very thing.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> Now, we have a generation of children who hate America.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> America’s problem isn’t that little children are on their knee in collective disrespect of America. Our problem is that America is on her knee from collective disrespect by Americans.

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>> You can disrespect America all you want. But, it’s high-time you respect the silent majority. Because they’re not simply the “silent majority” as you’ve been trained to believe when Hillary calls them“deplorables.” The fact is, they are simply the majority. And now they're no longer silent either.

    > >> >>> Donald Trump changed all of that, single-handedly and within one year."

    > >> >>>

    > >> >>>

    Thanks SAM

One man has done all of this in one year—one guy, and on his own dime.

The man has never done anything on his own dime in his life.

Not the majority, either. The most recent rallies for Trump had tens of people come out to support him -- tens! Why, the one, in the heart of a Red State, here had almost sixty people!

And don't I wish they were silent.

The silent majority has never ever been silent, but this meme ties into the propaganda about how very victimized they are. It's a rallying tool that doesn't accord with factual reality, but conservaworld has little to do with reality.

Trump did win fair and square. IMO, Hillary ran a shite campaign, and her use of the word "deplorable" was a giant sucking error. A lot of Trump voters are not racist homophobic misogynistic jerks. They were desparate, and Clinton couldn't be bothered to campaign in their states, much less talk to them about their very real concerns.

That said, Trump is simply a canny con man who's good at the Carny Barker style of reeling people in to pay for his freak show. After shouting about how Clinton is so beholden to Wall St and the Banks - which is certainly true - all we got with Trump is someone else beholden to Wall St and the Banks.

So the people who voted for Trump, who thought he "cared" about them are about to be fooled yet again. Trump is pushing through deregulation of coal mining, so people can get jobs in unsafe conditions with few regulations to protect them. Trump is trying to push through an even crappier health INSURANCE (it's not about health CARE) law that will not provide coverage for black lung and similar work-related ailments. And, finally, coal's on the way out. It's not profitable anymore, and that fact has almost nothing to do with alleged EVUL regulations. It's the faaabulous so-called Free Market - which conservatives profess to worship so much - that's causing coal mining jobs to disappear. But hey: Trump'll make those jobs unsafe and pay less with less protections, and those coal miners will clap and cheer and think they won the lottery.

It's too bad. Clinton told the truth that coal mining was a lost cause, and she did talk about finding ways to retrain miners to do other jobs. I have doubts about how realistic it was talk about retraining them - for what? But at least she told the truth about the actual reality of the coal mining industry.

But hey: that's conservatives for you. Live in their little conservaworld bubble and blame all their ills and pains on teh eeebul LIEbruls.

Great. I guess that solves everything.

Good luck with Trump because it's doubtful that he'll do much except enrich himself and his family - which is happening already very quickly - and maybe some of his rich cronies.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Trump is in this to loot the country -- and other countries, insofar as he can manage it. Everything he's doing is to put money in his pocket and into the pockets of his family, and then (maybe) into the pockets of his friends.

Anything else he's doing is just smoke and mirrors. He could not care less about the working poor in America, much less the desperation of coal miners.

Conservatives are champion turd-polishers, but, then again, they'd have to be.

No one has ever been called a great president because of the way they ran their election campaign. History won't care about any of that propaganda. While Trump may have 'defeated the Republican party' to get elected, I believe that the Republican party is about to defeat Trump's presidency. The party of angry victimization has spent years insisting that compromise is an unforgivable sin for conservatives, and now they are about to find out that you can't govern without it, and what a bad idea all that really was.

Who the fuck is Sam McGuiness, and why should we care what he thinks?

The only reason to "care" about what Sam McGuiness thinks is to learn what you can from rightwing propaganda. Need to know the propaganda du jour in order to fight against it more effectively. Know your enemy yada yada.

Now someone comes along and wants to praise Trump for his campaign. I recall that the vast majority of the Republican party elites were very much against Trump. Many, like turncoat Ted Cruz, lambasted him, of course, before then slithering back to kiss his ring.

It's a bit late in the day to start praising Trump for his campaign tactics and success when the most of the PTB in the Republican party were doing everything possible to keep him from getting nominated. Even now, the Republican Party PTB are only very reluctantly on board with Trump, and some caucuses are actively working against him.

So this seems a both a bit like Monday morning quarterbacking but also like counting chickens before they're hatched.

I'm not sure how much of Trump's - well, really, Bannon's - programs and ideas are going to fly. I prefer to take a wait and see approach. As someone said, above, the Republicans have styled and prided themselves on never compromising ever under any circumstances no matter what. Let's just see how that works out.
