Subject: Obama a Saint?

On Saturday afternoon, in Washington, DC an aide to President Barack
Obama visited the Cardinal of the Catholic cathedral in Washington.

He told the Cardinal that President Barack Obama would be attending
the next mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out
Obama to the congregation and say a few words that would include
calling Obama a saint.

The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the man, and there are
issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Obama's
views.

Obama's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a
donation of $10,000 to your church if you'll just tell the
congregation you see Obama as a saint."

The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the church can use the
money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon."

As Obama's aide promised, Obama appeared for the Sunday worship and
seated himself prominently at the forward left side of the center
aisle.

As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that
Obama was present.
The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While President
Obama’s presence is probably an honor to some, the man is not numbered
among my personal favorite personages.

Some of his views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and he tends
to flip-flop on many other issues. Barack Obama is a petty,
self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker and a nit-wit. Barack Obama is
also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Barack Obama is
the worst example of a Christian I have ever personally witnessed. He
is a narcissist  and is using his speaking ability to lie to the
American people. He also has a reputation for shirking his
obligations, both In Washington and in Illinois. The man is simply not
to be trusted."

The Cardinal concluded, "But, when compared with Hillary Clinton,
Obama is a Saint."

One can only wonder what this Cardinal would think of any Republican, since they devote every minute of their day to passing legislation that will hurt people.

The Cardinal might enjoy legislation that hurts people. After all most of the higher ups in the RC Church are either pederasts themselves or engaged in protecting pederasts. So why should I care what some RC Cardinal thinks about Obama again?

Glass houses, stones come to mind.

We've seen this boring tirade before. Why anyone would call Obama a thumb-sucker is beyond me. That's like saying: you're a poo poo head. Of course, RWD has been infantalized by all of this rot, so I guess it goes with the territory.

Isn't this the kind of tirade that Ben Carson actually pulled at a prayer breakfast a few years ago that made him the darling of Fox News? I don't know what insults Carson threw at Obama then, but these are so generic - like googling "best insults for a politician" - that the 'joke' is not funny. It could be-and will be used for Hillary in a few years, and the next dem after that. The creator of this email could have tried to make it more Obama-specific, but they just phoned it in.

I've already seen this one with Nancy Pelosi name instead of Barack Obama. RWD might as well just put filler names of "Hated Democrat #1" and "Hated Democrat #2" into the joke so they can update them to whoever is the subject of the daily
two minute hate.

My main questions is according to the narrative of the week Obama is either a devout Muslim or a black supremacist Rev. Jeremiah Wright follower. So why would he care what the Catholic Church thinks of him?

But that's just it: these are all just phoned in. Commenters here have been saying for years that these insults, name-calling, and so forth are so generic as to be essentially meaningless. And can be applied to just about any politician, no matter of which party.

That's one of my main irritations with this crap. There's plenty of useful criticism to lob at any politician, whether Obama or Trump or whomever. But these rightwing diatribes have no real content. It's all poo-flinging with no links, no specifics about what someone may have done wrong, etc.

Never going to happen either. The whole game here is simply to pit GOP voters against anyone and everything about the so-called Democrat party/voters. Just Us v Them. That's it.

This works to certain degree to the benefit of the GOP & the 1%, but part of what has "worked" has ended up with Trump gaining the GOP nomination.

Hey, is it me or did RWD just admit that President Obama is a Christian??
