Despite Obama’s chief of staff’s claim that his administration had been “historically free of scandal,” former President Barack Obama has been implicated in several scandals lately, and they’re by no means the first or the last. Little by little, the presidency many felt was characterized by incompetence is being revealed as something more willful – and even sinister.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released more documents this week from the trove seized from Osama bin Laden. The new documents show that Obama and his administration purposely released only certain documents meant to support the narrative that the U.S. had mostly won the War on Terror – and left out reports showing the close relationship between Iran’s government and al Qaeda, as they pushed for the Iran nuclear deal.
The Obama White House had this information for nearly five years before negotiating the nuclear deal — talks in which it refused to address Iran’s continuing sponsorship of terror even as it agreed to provide it with more than $100 billion in sanctions relief and hostage ransom payments.
Politics as Usual
While Iran and al Qaeda were known to be at least peripheral operational partners as far back as the 9/11 Commission, no one but Obama and his CIA directors seemed to know the full extent of Iran’s cooperation with the terrorist organization. The administration apparently wanted it that way; as the truth might have impeded the forging of new agreements with Iran.
A new 19-page document, found within the nearly half-million files released and reportedly authored by an al-Qaeda member, outlines an agreement between Iran and the terror group to attack American interests in both Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf. As payment for these requested attacks, Iran was offering militants money, guns, and training at Hezbollah camps in Lebanon.
The new documents show links and cooperation between the major players in the Middle Eastern terror world regardless of the historical Sunni/Shia ideological divide.
What’s more, the document’s exclusion from the initial files released by Obama after bin Laden’s death in 2011 implies that the administration feared that public knowledge of the close working relationship between Iran and al-Qaeda would tank the president’s deal with Iran on nuclear proliferation.
Obama Lied, Terror Was Supported
The Obama administration dismissed questions as recently as 2016 about Iran and al-Qaeda. One official told the Weekly Standard that “anyone who thinks Iran was or is in bed with al-Qaeda doesn’t know much about either.”
The new revelations show that the American people didn’t know much because the Obama administration was hiding the information; the president himself and the four CIA directors — Leon Panetta, David Petraeus, John Brennan, and Mike Morell — knew, but never allowed the information to come out.
President Donald Trump has called the Iran deal the “worst deal ever made,” and has vowed to end it.
BREAKING: Obama Caught in Massive Cover-Up
Lies, distortions, and manipulation

The release of Osama bin Laden’s papers, letters, and documents to the public this week provide more than just a fascinating look into the mind of the terrorist — they also revealed startling information that former President Barack Obama wanted withheld from the public. During the closing days of the Obama administration, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper released several dozen documents retrieved from the late terrorist’s Abbottabad, Pakistan compound.
That brought the total number released by the Obama administration to 571, which, according to Clapper’s press release, closed “the book on Osama bin Laden” given that they were the “final Abbottabad documents.” Well, not quite final — there were a few more. It turned out those 571 bin Laden documents released by the previous administration amounted to a mere 0.12 percent of the total. This week the Trump administration released the other 470,000.
Hiding the truth
The reason those papers were withheld is pretty simple — the information contained within them didn’t fit the narrative the Obama administration was trying to push on the American public. Obama had a reelection campaign to run, after all.
The Weekly Standard reported:
The self-proclaimed “most transparent administration in history” had spent more than five years misleading the American people about the threat from al-Qaida and its offshoots and had paid very little price for having done so.
Republicans volubly disputed the president’s more laughable claims — the attack on the Benghazi compound was just a protest gone bad, al-Qaida was on the run, ISIS was the terrorist junior varsity — but the establishment media, certain that Obama’s predecessor had consistently exaggerated the threat, showed little interest in challenging Obama or the intelligence agencies that often supported his spurious case.
The Iranian connection
But in addition to national political considerations, something more sinister was afoot on the international scene — negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, more commonly referred to as the Iran nuclear deal.
In order to get the American people on board, it was important to paint Iran as being our partners in the fight against terrorism. This was a tall order given that country’s reputation as the largest state sponsor of terrorism.
And it was also a lie. Iran and al-Qaida were working hand-in-hand.
According to The Standard:
Bin Laden had described Iran as the “main artery” for al-Qaida in one of the previously released letters recovered in Abbottabad. The details on Iran’s support for al-Qaida, some of them buried until now, led to terrorist designations by the Treasury Department and even caused some intelligence analysts to revisit the assumption that the Shiite radicals in Iran wouldn’t back the Sunni al-Qaida.
“There is an agreement between the Iranian government and al-Qaida to allow this network to operate,” said David S. Cohen, a senior Treasury Department official who went on to become deputy director of the CIA. “There’s no dispute in the intelligence community on this.”
As a result, al-Qaida was the beneficiary of a “core pipeline” of money, travel safe haven and weapons — all courtesy of Iran.
Obviously, this was something the Obama administration didn’t want advertised; after all, it would have jeopardized the Iran deal, which Obama viewed as the signature piece of his foreign policy legacy. So, they suppressed the documents.
The new documents show that the Obama administration placed political gain on a higher plane than the safety and well-being of the American people. All this coming from “the most transparent administration in history.”
BREAKING: Obama's Disturbing Past Revealed
Former Democratic National Committee interim chair Donna Brazile didn’t stop at dishing on Hillary Clinton — she also went after bigger fish.
Brazile’s new book, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House, described how former President Obama did to the Democratic Party what he did to the country — leaving it in massive debt. In assuming the office, she discovered that Obama left the party of Jefferson and Jackson $24 million in the red.
Worse than told
Politico Magazine ran excerpts of Brazile’s book Thursday, in which she revealed:
The Saturday morning after the convention in July, I called Gary Gensler, the chief financial officer of Hillary’s campaign. He wasted no words. He told me the Democratic Party was broke and $2 million in debt.
The financial situation, however, was considerably worse because Obama had failed to engage in adequate fundraising. Brazile wrote that he’d “left the party $24 million in debt — $15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign — and had been paying that off very slowly.”
Debt opens door for Clinton takeover
On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Friday, John Heilemann discussed both the massive debt in which Obama left the party and the opportunity it provided for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to rig the nomination in her favor. She did so by paying off many of the financial obligations, effectively purchasing the nomination. Even Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., admitted that the process was rigged in Clinton’s favor.
The former chairwoman said that from day one she was specifically looking for any collusion between the party and the Clinton camp, to fulfill a promise she’d made to Clinton Democratic rival Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont.
“I at last found the document that described it all: the Joint Fund-Raising Agreement between the DNC, the Hillary Victory Fund, and Hillary for America,” Brazile wrote.
“Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.”
Debt exacerbated by Wasserman Schultz
In addition to Obama’s lackluster fundraising efforts, Brazile’s predecessor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., made the party’s financial situation all the worse. Brazile wrote:
The party chair usually shrinks the staff between presidential election campaigns, but Debbie had chosen not to do that. She had stuck lots of consultants on the DNC payroll, and Obama’s consultants were being financed by the DNC, too.
One can assume that Obama had a hand in Wasserman Schultz’s decision to keep his own pet consultants on board, producing a financial double whammy for the DNC.
Obama’s negligence left the Democratic National Committee in dire straights and paved the way for the Clinton and her machine to tilt the nomination in her favor. Fate would see fit, however, for Clinton to lose the general election.

RWD's obsession with Obama and Hillary seems like a ploy to try to get us to forget who is acting as President right now.
Yeah, RWD is really getting desperate.
Hey, RWD, maybe stop screeching and flailing and take some responsibility for your terrible actions?
