Kim Jung Un
Kim Jung Un had NO military experience whatsoever before Daddy made him a four-star general.
This snot-nosed twerp had never accomplished anything in his life that would even come close to military leadership.
He hadn't even so much as led a Cub Scout troop, coached a sports team, or commanded a military platoon.
So he is made the "Beloved Leader" Of North Korea.
Terrific!-

Oh my!
I'm sorry.
I just remembered that we did the same thing.
We took an arrogant phony community organizer, who had never worn a uniform, and made him Commander-in-Chief.

A guy, who had never had a real job, worked on a budget, or led anything more than an ACORN demonstration, and we made him "Beloved Leader" of the United States
TWICE !!!

The Right Wing worship of all things military never ceases to confuse me.
Must have something to do with their obsession with guns.
As many know, I'm not an Obama supporter. That said, no one who I know who did vote for Obama and continue to support him in office considers him as "Dear Leader." That's something the rightwing think tanks accuse Obama supporters of thinking, but it's not factual.
It's true that Obama never was in the Military. I have no idea if he was in the Boy Scouts. To my knowledge, Obama never even led an "ACORN demonstration" (typical rightwing think tank racist fluffing).
So, let's look very very closely at GW Bush's military career - eh?
So bogus. Frankly all US Pres, while being the Commander in Chief, get their advice from Pentagon and all the secret alphabet agencies and are pretty much told what to do. Doesn't matter if they wear a D or R Team jacket & doesn't matter how much Military experience they have.
So what? Do rightwingers want a Military coup and have some corrupt General run the show? Would that make them happy? Be careful what you wish for...
I think the narrative goes that Obama is such a Kenyan, Muslim, socialist, arrogant, bumbling, liberal mastermind, that anyone who would vote for him must be a bunch of sheep brainwashed to love their Messiah. Hence, the 'Dear Leader' meme -- I think introduced by that notable tea-bagger, Steve King (R-IA).
Not based in reality of course, but that's their narrative and, by golly, they're sticking to it.
Hey guys....at least Kim Hung Un doesn't wear Daddy jeans like Obummer! ;-)
Still, though, wouldn't want either of those two girly-boys sharing a foxhole with me during battle.

I would hope not, if I were in a fox hole during a war and the leader of North Korea or the President of the United States jumped into the fox hole with me, I would know that things were going really badly.
It is interesting that the Right is picking on Obama about military service. I mean in the last presidential election, did any of the Republican candidates have any military experience?
In addition prior to that you had W whom kept the skies of Texas safe from the Viet Cong. The last president that had actual military experience was George H. Bush who left office over 20 years ago. Yet America’s war machine seems to be humming along pretty well.
Besides the President’s position is supposed to be a civilian in charge of the military, not some sort of military dictatorship.
Speaking of Mr. Un:

Conservatives apparently love the US Military and fret that any Pres from the D-Team is incompetent to be the civilian Commander in Chief.
Here's a Q: when was the last time the US Military won any conflict we've been engaged in whether we engineered it or not?
Think about it very carefully. Think that those 4 and 5 star top brass at the Pentagon (no audits ever & usually way over budget) could do a better job if Obama was not President?
Really?
I heard Kim Jung Un outlawed Dad Jeans on his private golf course because they're Gangnum Style. Mr. Kim doesn't want his peasants getting ideas over their station.
@Hooray4US
Hmmmmm....Operation Just Cause in 1989.
What a dumb question.
@Mike Hawk
Funny that you'd make a post to correct your misspelling of the name of North Korea's leader, but you won't do the same to correct your misspelling of the name of the President of the United States.
Your Dear Leader in North Korea must be proud of you.
When US troops left Panama, the country was in shambles, countless citizens found themselves homeless, with a government characterized by violence, corruption and an unstable economy. Many have intimated that the United States intervened in Panama only to save face and stop Noriega from continuing to thumb his nose at the United States. Others argue that US involvement in Panama was a direct challenge to Panama’s sovereignty and turned out to be an example of contemporary US espousal of the Monroe doctrine.
Very good. You identified probably one of the very few successful invasions (Grenada may be considered another one, but ask the British how they feel about that little skirmish) that US Military has accomplished in quite some time.
Eh, yeah, removing Noreiga from office. Wowee Zowee... all those Trillion$ and Trillion$ and Trillion$ spent on the US Military, that's IT.
I'm so impressed. Clearly if Obama is Pres, it's a complete disaster for the ever so competent US Military. Go TEAM RED!!!111!!!

@ CharlieE
Actually, I thought that was some fairly subtle (for Mike) trolling on his part.
Or maybe a Freudian slip, which is even better.
I figured it was a Freudian slip, myself, which gave me a good laugh.
