A physician called into a radio show and said:  "That's the definition of a stool sample".
That pretty well sums it up.

She never said that. She said, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what’s in it....”

Big distinction, especially since there were many different bills under discussion at the time, with no single version yet singled out for a vote.

In other words, "you'll find out what's in it once we decide which version of the bill we're going to vote on."
