The United States is ranked 3rd, from the Top, in Murders -
throughout the World.
But, if you remove just 4 cities from the statistics:
. Chicago
. Detroit
. Washington, DC
. New Orleans
The United States is then ranked 4th, from the bottom, in the entire
world - for Murders.
These 4 cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the United
States and are run by Democrats.
Imagine that !

I've been to all of those cities, and I have never been searched for weapons when entering the city limits.
Once again, the gun nuts inadvertently harm their cause by reminding us why gun control is only effective on a national scale.

First statement is ridiculously false and intentionally vague. Are we talking per capita? Total numbers? US isn't even in the top 50 for homicide rate, and is only # 9 in total count, because we have a large population in comparison to most other countries.
Highest homicide rates:

New Orleans (1) (21)

St. Louis (3) (43)
Baltimore (4) (48)
Highest total homicides:
India
Brazil
Mexico
Ethiopia
Indonesis
So this is just more drivel from the gun nuts, trying to justify their lunacy by lying to the uninformed/undecided.
I think this is another case of "My statement wasn't meant to be taken factually."
Today's right wing are kind of like the Impressionists, those artists who painted what they felt about a scene. Today's right wing are like artists who state their emotional impression of the world as a metaphor for what is going on in the fever swamp of their brains at any given moment.
I can't be bothered to read this that carefully and try to decipher the "meaning." At first glance, it makes no sense. I suspect that's all I need to know. TGIF.
