I have no problem seeing Obama behind bars; as far as I'm concerned, that is the appropriate punishment for killing U.S. citizens who have not been charged with a crime.

Of course, I also think that George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld belong behind bars for the torture of U.S. citizens and the torturing to death of detainees at Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib.

I'm just not really supportive of having presidents torture or execute citizens without their Constitutionally-guaranteed protections. Call me old fashioned, I guess.

I'm guessing that whomever sent this photo originally doesn't agree with any of that; they just like the idea of putting Democrats behind bars. You know - just because.

Civil rights don't really resonate with the Right, oddly enough.

Personally I'm in favor of whoever made this picture ending up behind bars. Photoshop that bad should be a crime.

Agree the most with CharlieE. I'm all for putting ObamaCo behind for War Crimes & for unlawful detention of citizens like Pfc Bradley Manning.

However, I doubt that's why conservatives want to see Biden & Obama in prison. It's just what this rightwing think tank told them they "wanted," so that's why (and only why) they "want" it. Can't really explain why.

Also agree with Anon: horrible photoshop. You'd think that by now these rightwing think tanks could someone, anyone, who could do a better job with photoshop. Sheesh. It's not rocket science....

Hey there, mi amigo "ferschitz:...Speaking of "rocket science", aren't you glad to see that the private sector market rocket made it back and forth to the I.S.S. very efficiently and way under budget? Not the same could be said for NASA (yet another example of inefficient govt. fraud, waste, and abuse). Love it....let the free market rule, baby! ;-)

You mean the rocket that was built using decades of technological know how developed by NASA and other governments, and which was built and operated as part of a government contract?

Space-X is "free market" in the same way that Lockheed-Martin is "free market" when it builds fighter jets for the Air Force.

Winky, your comments regarding NASA are ignorant.

The technology spinoff has enriched the lives of everyone and the program has paid for itself in incalculable ways.

Just wait another 10 to 15 years, amigo...this was only the first launch. The private sector is gonna blow NASA away...good riddance to that bloated and stagnant organization of government "workers" called NASA. Hallelujah! ;-)

The private sector is gonna blow NASA away

How? The only one paying for space technology is the government. The only organizations with the resources and desire to even consider things like the ISS or Missions to Mars are governments. Where's the profit potential for the private sector in building space stations?

And again, everything the "private" sector does comes as a result of decades of blood, sweat and cash that NASA poured into the space program. Even Elon Musk's fortune was made from PayPal, which is only viable because of the Internet, which was created and expanded by... wait for it... the Government!

good riddance to that bloated and stagnant organization of government "workers" called NASA.

NASA isn't going anywhere. They still oversee the ISS (along with other government space programs), they still train and send up astronauts and unmanned missions, and they're still planning future missions and vehicles.

Doncha just love how rightwing commenters come here and change the subject in order to shoot off their "mouth" about something unrelated to the topic at hand?

Typical and typically ridiculous comments, lacking in substance and factual content. Plus just plain silly.

Was this something that El Lushbo was farting about today?

Winky is a silly, weak little troll who usually disappears when challenged. She has no argument; just her silly, fraudulent little talking points. I prefer my trolls with a little more aggressiveness so I can really knock the shit out of them when they attack.

Winky usually runs at the first challenge unless it's a spelling thingie. Apparently she's really comfortable with spelling errors. And making a winky emoticon.

Aw, that is so cute.

Come back any time, winky-dink.

Even Newt felt sympathy for all the laid-off and soon to be laid-off NASA workers during his stump speeches in Florida...so much so, that he offered them a one-way ticket to his lunar colony if elected president. You see, Newtie is a compassionate Conservative! ;-)

@ Winky

So in your mind... Newt is a good guy? Bad guy? What?

You're beyond embarrassment at this point.

No sense does Winky make.

The stupid is strong with that one.

No Newt = Good Newt! ;-)
