Thursday, at the National Day of Prayer breakfast, our illustrious
“Teleprompter in Chief” made a complete FOOL of himself!
Anyone with a reasonable education through the 6th grade and
what was taught in both English and History KNOWS that the correct
pronunciation of the basic word “Corps” has the “ps” silent
and is pronounced “Kore”, therefore the word “Corpsman” is
pronounced “Koreman”. Yet this IDIOT, who touts his education at both
Columbia and Harvard, in describing a US Navy Corpsman
during his speech this morning, pronounced the word “Corpse-Man”
on three occasions! Certainly all of us who served in our fine US Navy
or USMC know how to pronounce this word, as do millions
of civilians. But this charlatan, reading from his always present
teleprompter, can’t get it right!! It’s my understanding that there was
little if any discussion of this by “the lame stream media”
today, though FNC did pick it up very quickly. And people actually
voted for and many still are worshipping this radical charlatan? Duh!
The same media hacks who slammed GWB for any verbal
error give this arrogant, grinning, nose-in-the-air, jug-eared radical
TURKEY a PASS!! What a double-standard and blatant hypocrisy!
You can see two videos of the mispronunciation.....

Yep, he sure did mispronounce it. No doubt about it.
When he gets to the point that we can create multiple years of "obamaism a day" calendars, then maybe I'll care.
Maybe he should have written down the pronunciation on his hand?
Ok, so lessee: Obama made one error in pronouncing one word after many, many, many speeches, plus extemporaneous (note to wingtards: look it up) Q&A sessions, and wingtards line up to send out drivel like this in a smug, self-satisfied way.
What is this? Kindergarten? Oh, yeah, I forgot: it's pre-school (with apologies to all pre-schoolers everywhere, who probably act much more mature than this).
Seriously: how dumb is this? Get a clue: watch just about anything W said at any time anywhere, even his ever-present audio receiver in his ear, and he still stumbled over words and made numerous mistakes and couldn't remember simple sayings like: fool me once...
Per usual: brought to you by rightwing thinktanks tasked solely to gin up this junk to send to out to their increasingly immature base who lap this junk up.
Don't we have more important stuff to discuss than whether BHO made one pronounciation error? Seriously, THIS is what upsets righties? That BHO mispronounces one word and the media doesn't go on & on about it?
Sheesh. Wake me when you've got something REAL and important to discuss. zzzzzzzzzzz
Nuke-lear. 'Nuff said.
Wingtards, will you EVER grow up? Even your
Supreme Court shills act like spoiled brats.
Hey, I hear that Obama went to a Mexican
restaurant last night. Let's hear you pitch
a tantrum about that.
This is the "change" you voted for.
I'd rather have Keyes for Prez. Shouldn't the Commander-in-Chief know the Armed Services he controls.
This is classic misdirection. Sarah Palin is caught having to write down her talking points ("energy", "tax", "list American spirits") on her hand and obviously look at them during an interview. Everyone has a little chuckle.
So what do conservatives talk about? "Corpse-man".
Because if there's one thing Obama's terrible at, it's speaking extemporaneously, right?
@ Anon
Yes, because mispronouncing one word is the exact same thing as not knowing about the forces he commands.
By your logic, I suppose you blame Bush's failures with the English language as the reason his presidency sucked so hard. Right?
Alan Keyes? Are you serious?
ROTFLMAO: Alan Keyes!!! LOL. That's rich. Go rightards! Yay team. Let's hear it for Alan Keyes. Yeah: that's the change I believe in... NOT! Like, let's walk down the street with strollers containing dolls with blood on 'em. My favorite past-time. How, uh, presidential... LOL... thanks for a good guffaw.
Yep, Anon. We voted for "change" and voted for someone who mispronounces one word on occasion as opposed to the previous guy, who used totally nonexistent (or incorrect) words and sounds like Oswald Bates when he tries to give a speech.
What would you rather have? Someone who occasionally mispronounces a word that he reads, or someone who can't read and is proud of that fact? I think we know the answer.
Anonymous #6: It said "lift American spirits." Clearly you are wrong about everything, ever.
Lotsa non-Marine types mispronounce Corps, etc.
But I know lotsa Marines don't dis the C-in-C as you all have done!
I have lived or served through 12 US presidents. The hate and fear you're dishin' & acceptin'is extreme. Let me conclude with today's Top Ten truths:
1. President Obama Cut Your Taxes
2. The Stimulus is Working
3. First Ronald Reagan Tripled the National Debt...
4. ...Then George W. Bush Doubled It Again
5. Republican States Have the Worst Health Care
6. Medicare is a Government Program
7. Barack Obama is Not a Muslim
8. Barack Obama was Born in the United States
9. 70,000 Does Not Equal 2,000,000
10. The Economy Always Does Better Under Democrats
Semper Fi to Corps, Country and C-in-C
