Trump was asked if he could quote any Bible verses.

He answered:
 Trump 20:16
"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.

Deport him and you will never have to feed him again."

Trump's candidacy is supported by many evangelicals, while just as many denounce him and his ideas as completely non-Christian. One could easily tell the real-deal Christians from the fakers by who supports him.

Perhaps when Trump is done being a fabulous presidential candidate he can start an awesome religion for these Christo-fascists who clearly need a religion that reflects their true views. They might name themselves the Wall-Builders and him the Greatest Priest of Winners, or Mighty Vicar who has the Best Words. I'm sure they will find it to be the most magnificent faith anyone could imagine.

@gruaud

No actual Christian would vote Republican. Christ ordered his followers to care for the sick and the poor, and doing so violates the Republican platform.

Someone needs to inform Xtians that Trump ain't all that Xtiany, except... well, he is from their fugly mean-spirited hateful bigoted sexist point of view. These rightwing Xtiany types are huge authoritarians all wanting a big-daddy "leader" who encourages them to be as bigoted, racist, mean, fugly, sexist, homophobic, as they like.

That's Trump in a nutshell. A remarkable know-nothing, considering his wealthy upbringing. But that's what these types love. Just like dumbfeck W, who was as stupid and fake as they come, but pretended to be a big old Xtian. I don't get the attraction, myself, but we've witnessed this tribe in action for decades now.

Yeah, this is how these Xtians believe and behave. They shout about the Bible but totally do NOT follow what it says, much less anything remotely related to what Jesus taught. No surprises that I also stopped going to their "churches" decades ago. Not my belief system.
