Dear Ones,

I felt a prompting this morning, perhaps even, a constraint, to pen a few words of encouragement to each of us, for we are in troublesome times. We must all readily acknowledge that we live in a volatile world that is growing more wicked and wretched with every passing day. Nations are gearing up for war with rogue dictators and tyrannical leaders relentlessly developing nuclear capabilities. Radical Islam is threatening openly to eventually turn the entire world into a Muslim society with no one left alive who refuses to convert to their brutal system that is both religious and political.

Our own beloved nation is in its death throes due to all three branches of our government seemingly set on implementing Socialism in the place of our traditional (and Constitutional) system of Capitalism and free enterprise. Our religious freedom is being squeezed out day after day with government intrusion into our churches, as well as all public places, where almost any mention of faith, prayer, or the Word of God is forbidden, yet there is toleration for every foul enterprise, every pagan endeavor and even every religion “other than” the Christianity upon which this country was founded.

Our churches are apostatizing at an alarming rate and are becoming little more than worldly social clubs and entertainment centers with carnival atmospheres and circus environments, where 20 minute devotionals on Sunday morning are hurriedly thrown in at the end of the plethora of secular and carnal activities that pervade the places of worship, if it could be described as anything resembling worship. No time is left for any appreciable exalting of Christ and His redemptive, atoning work on the cross of Calvary; no place allotted for testimonies of God’s goodness; no space for the old hymns of the faith; no attention to, or time for, the moving of the Holy Spirit in the services. How can “all the counsel of God” be given to the congregation by the pastor in such an environment and with such time restrictions? It cannot.

By now, most of you are saying, “I thought you said you were going to offer some encouragement.” So I did, and so I am, but the stage had to be set before some would realize there was even a need, since so many seem unaware that anything is wrong with the present system. We have been “conditioned” over time to accept these lukewarm conditions in our churches. Many of us like the fact that no real commitment is expected of us; that we can rush out of church before noon, having heard very little from the Scriptures but instead, made to feel good about ourselves in our sins and complacency. Isn’t it neat to salve our consciences with a quick trip to the church house and a hasty retreat there from, enabling us to hurry back to our worldly concerns and our comfortable spot in the recliner before the television with remote in hand, as Hollywood pours its cesspool of filth into our living rooms and shapes the minds of our children away from moral absolutes and spiritual moorings.

Now, where’s the encouragement? Here it is: God is still on His throne, ruling, overruling and ever ruling, in charge and in control. He sees all and knows all and is right on schedule in His plan and purpose of the ages. None of this madness and insanity has caught Him by surprise. Those of us who have taken the time to read the Book realize that He warned us of the worsening of things in the closing days of human history; that nations would rise against each other and wars and rumors of wars would be rampant. He warned that the masses of humanity would continue on the broad way to destruction and that “few” would enter the straight and narrow way to life eternal.

What’s the bottom line? Just this: those of us who know the Lord, and rather, are known of Him, are guaranteed that we “shall never perish” (John 10:27, 28); that He will “never leave us or forsake us” (Hebrews 13:5); that we may “cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us” (I Peter 5:7); that we are “kept by the power of God unto salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time” (I Peter 1:5); that we are “more than conquerors through Him that loved us” (Romans 8:37) and gave Himself for us; that He “always causes us to triumph in Christ” (II Corinthians 2:14); that He “adds all things” to those who “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33); that the “effectual fervent prayers” of the righteous “prevail much” with Him (James 5:16); that we can have a “peace that passes understanding” to “keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7); that we “can do all things through Christ” who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13); that we can have “joy that is unspeakable and full of glory” (I Peter 1:8); that we can look out beyond our circumstances, knowing that we have His Word, which is “a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path” (Psalm 119:105); that “little is much when God is in it” (Psalm 37:16 / Proverbs 15:16, 16:8) and “If God be for us, who can be against us” (Romans 8:31)?

Topping it all off, are some other special promises that He gave His followers: “In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2, 3); His last promise to His waiting church: “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:20) is a great encouragement to watch and pray.

We are told to be “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13); that we are to “look for the Savior” from Heaven “who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body” (Philippians 3:20, 21); that “The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:16, 17); that “When He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (I John 3:2); that “We shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (I Corinthians 15:51-53); that there is a “crown of righteousness for all those who love His appearing” (II Timothy 4:8) and that “for those who look for Him, He shall appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:28).

So, Precious Ones: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). Soon our Lord will return and say, “Come up hither,” and we shall be snatched from this vale of tear below to meet Him in the air will gather around His throne, where He will be seated in majesty and splendor and bright glory! We shall see Him in the beauty of His holiness, reigning over the vastness of the works of His hands, and marvel of all marvels, we are “joint-heirs” with Christ (Romans 8:16, 17) of all things Heaven affords, and we who have overcome by the blood of the Lamb on Calvary’s cross “will inherit all things” (Revelation 21:7) as sons and daughters of God. He will “dwell with us, and we shall be His people, and He shall be with us and be our God” and He shall “wipe away all tears from our eyes,” and there will be “no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:3, 4). Is this not the most thrilling thing that could ever engage your thought processes?

“Wherefore, lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; and make straight paths for your feet” (Hebrews 12:12) as we all look with great anticipation and expectation for our Lord’s soon return! Let us believe His Word, embrace His promises and put a song in our hearts and a spring in our steps, for we shall soon enter the “gates of pearl,” within the diamond “jasper walls,” tread the “streets of Gold” (Revelation 21:1--27) and “so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words” (I Thessalonians 4:17, 18).

We are now finding that Hillary and Obama seem to have a contempt for constitutional law and judicial independence and their actions recently would back this up.
As we know, President Zelaya was removed from office by the Supreme Court of Honduras when he attempted to defy their own Constitution and break the laws of Honduras.

Apparently to punish the Supreme Court of Honduras all of its members have had their Visas revoked and they cannot come to the US, all at the direction of the Obama administration.
US Funding of some Honduran projects has been revoked as well.

The Obama administration is demonstrating it's potential for violating our own Constitution and in fact many legal scholars tell us that they already have violated the Constitution. Some Constitutional scholars have said the individual citizens cannot be forced to buy medical insurance if they don't want it, and, that the administration cannot legally involve themselves in how much a person is paid. Needless to say, the administration is doing it anyway.

Although Obama apologized to the Eurpeans for our supposed arrogance, we now find the Obama gang is attempting to tell the fledgling Honduran democracy how to run their affairs and that presumably, judges of other nations are supposed to accept America's interpretation of what their laws should say. What was that again, arrogance? Why don't we simply invade Honduras and force them to use our Constitution?

This is the sort of thing everyone of us should write, email or call our lawmakers about and we need to tell them to quit trying establish a dictatorship in Honduras and to quit trying to force them to comply with Hillary and Obama's ideology. Let the Hondurans run their own government.
The next thing, Hillary will be apologizing to Hugo Chavez.

Not unlike the Cap and Trade Bill sitting in the Senate which is going to wipe out $billions in retiree savings through inflation or the Stimulus Bill ( read pork) which has stimulated absolutely nothing but our kids will be paying for from now on.

Forward this on if you will. People need to know what's going on.

This may portend something more than the American voter intended and the inferences are frightening.

America as the last man standing


In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: who lost Europe?'

Thank you very much for inviting me.

I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization

of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat

to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe. Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close

I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem.

The Europe you know is changing.

You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.

All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for

the police as well.



It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group

of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighbor-

hood by neighborhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and Malmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is

now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name

among boys in many cities.

In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that

would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.

Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.

In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system..Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel. I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe. San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that.



The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France. One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.

The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there

is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey.

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers'. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies, they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.

Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and

why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.



The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel. First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because

it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.

This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel

is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines, Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan, Lebanon, and Aceh in Indonesia. Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel, they can get everything.



So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'.

In my country, the Netherlands, 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a danger greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine.



An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem.

Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians.



We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.

Kaiser Family Foundation predicts there may not be any COLA for the next three years. However, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premium will be increased from the 2009 premium of $96.40 to $104.20 in 2010 for the year 2011. Send this to all your senior friends and remind them to remember this at the next election and vote out those who voted for this.

Its now official. I'm a racist. No less than a former president of the United States has declared that if I oppose the takeover of 17% of our economy under the guise of health care reform, I hate black people.

According to President Carter, U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson's objection to a 'misstatement' in President Obama's speech to Congress last week was an act "based on racism" and rooted in fears of a black president. And a Rasmussen survey shows that fully 12% of Americans agree with him.

The old media has chimed in, with the left's favorite columnist, Maureen Dowd, going a step further. Rep. Joe Wilson said, "You lie' to Obama. But Maureen Dowd heard, "You lie, boy." Boy being one of the many politically incorrect words the left has decided is an indicator of racism. Point made. Case closed.

Another columnist, E. Danielle Egan, has joined the growing chorus. In the Philadelphia Enquirer, Egan blithely dismissed the app. 2 million protestors who turned out last weekend to protest Obama's policies, writing them off as illegitimate. "So I have decided it's time that what I've been watching be called what I believe it is: racism." She continues, "The level of rage being expressed is different and out of sync with what we know from the past." I guess she was visiting Atlantis during the Bush years, or something.

And just in case anyone has missed the point, ABC has devoted a full story to the racist motives of the Obama protestors.

So there. The media and political elite have spoken. Any opposition to Obama means the protestor is a bad person. A person unable to see beyond the color of his skin. A racist. (Isn't that called profiling?)

Conveniently for these elites, they have also decided that responding to ignorant racists is quite beneath them. Being a racist is bad, therefore there is absolutely no need to respond to the underlying complaint. Whew.

This is the ultimate free pass. It almost makes me wish I had been born black. Then I could make any claims I want, without any facts to back them up, and still maintain the moral high ground. I could blame every bad decision I ever made on racism and, best of all, put my opponents in the impossible situation of trying to prove a negative.

I would gain membership in the ever growing class of 'victims', which automatically grants me immunity from the normal rules of civilized behavior.

The fact that Joe Wilson was quite correct in branding Obama a liar is not the point. By diverting the issue to racial animus, Obama's 'misstatement' is conveniently overlooked. This is called a win-win situation.

Wilson's audacity in branding Obama a liar has caused a national firestorm. The left is in high dudgeon, quickly spinning the truth of Wilson's (admittedly disrespectful) assertion into a condemnation of his integrity, topping it off with the unprecedented act of issuing a formal rebuke from the House. Bad boy! (Can I say that?)

Not mentioned in this national brou haha is Sen Reid's Dec 15, 2004 statement, where he called called President Bush a liar. "President Bush is a liar. He betrayed Nevada and he betrayed the country."

I guess its OK to call white guys liars. Even when they can't come up with any specific lie. Its just something everyone knows. Bush lied. Strangely enough, I've never been taken up on my challenge to pay $100.00 to anyone who can cite a specific lie that Bush told. I digress.

Also not included in the conversation the left is successfully controlling, is President Obama's statement last week branding Kanye West a jackass. But, hey, West is black...this is starting to get confusing.

I'm in awe of the left. Though they have admitted not knowing the details of the 1,000 plus pages of the Obama health care 'reform', they have managed to divine what is in my heart. And the hearts of millions of others. And it's called racism.

Despite having elected a black president, the left would have us believe that the millions of whites who voted for Obama still hate black people. They would have us believe that, even though we can't see it, racism is still a dominant force in America. Its just evolved into the silent 'institutional' kind of racism that no one can quantify. But it's still there. I guess we just have to take their word for it. If we dare question their premise, we're racists. Game, set and match.

A Washington DC airport ticket agency offers examples of why the USA is in trouble:

1) I had a New Hampshire Congresswoman (Carol Shea-Porter) ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window. (On an airplane!)

2) I got a call from a Kansas Congress man's (Moore) staffer (Howard Bauleke), who wanted to go to Capetown. I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then he interrupted me with, ''I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts.''

Without trying to make him look stupid, I calmly explained, ''Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa...''

3) A senior Vermont Congressman (Bernie Sanders) called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that's not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state.

He replied, 'Don't lie to me, I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state!''

4) I got a call from a lawmaker's wife (Landra Reid) who asked, ''Is it possible to see England from Canada?''

I said, ''No.''

She said, ''But they look so close on the map!''

5) An aide for a cabinet member (Janet Napolitano) once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. I pulled up the reservation and noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas. When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, ''I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time!''

6) An Illinois Congresswoman (Jan Schakowsky) called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 a.m., and got to Chicago at 8:33 a.m.

I explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but she couldn't understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told her the plane went fast, and she bought that...

7) A New York lawmaker, (Jerrold Nadler) called and asked, ''Do airlines put your physical description on your bag, so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?''
I said, "No, why do you ask?"

He replied, ''Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said FAT, and I'm overweight. I think that's very rude!''

After putting him on hold for a minute, while I looked into it. (I was dying laughing). I came back and explained the city code for Fresno, California, is FAT (Fresno Air Terminal), and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage.

8) A Senator John Kerry aide (Lindsay Ross) called to inquire about a package trip to Hawaii. After going over all the cost info, she asked, ''Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?''

9) I just got off the phone with a freshman Congressman, Bobby Bright from Alabama, who asked, ''How do I know which plane to get on?''

I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied, ''I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these planes have numbers on them...''

10) Senator Dianne Feinstein called and said, ''I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola, Florida. Do I have to get on one of those little computer planes?''

I asked if she meant: fly to Pensacola, get on a commuter plane?

She said, ''Yeah, whatever, smarty!''

11) Senator Mary Landrieu called and had a question about the documents she needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded her that she needed a visa.
"Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those.''

I double checked and sure enough, her stay required a visa. When I told her this she said, ''Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express!''

12) A New Jersey Congressman (John Adler) called to make reservations, ''I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York.. .''

I was at a loss for words. Finally, I said, ''Are you sure that's the name of the town?''

'Yes, what flights do you have?'' replied the man.

After some searching, I came back with, ''I'm sorry, sir, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find a rhino anywhere."

''The man retorted, ''Oh, don't be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!''

So I scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, ''You don't mean Buffalo, do you?''

The reply: ''Whatever! I knew it was a big animal!''

Now you know why the US Government is in the shape it's in! Could anyone be this DUMB

This letter was sent to the Wall Street Journal on August 8, 2008 by Alisa Wilson, Ph.D. Of Beverly Hills , CA . in response to the Wall Street Journal article titled "Where's The Outrage?" that appeared July 31, 2008.

Really. I can tell you where the outrage is. The outrage is here, in this middle-aged, well-educated, upper-middle class woman. The outrage is here, but I have no representation, no voice. The outrage is here, but no one is listening for who am I?

I am not a billionaire like George Soros that can fund an entire political movement..
I am not a celebrity like Barbra Streisand that can garner the attention of the press to promote political candidates. I am not a film maker like Michael Moore or Al Gore that can deliver misleading movies to the public.

The outrage is here, but unlike those with money or power, I don't know how to reach those who feel similarly in order to effect change.

Why am I outraged? I am outraged that my country, the United States of America , is in a state of moral and ethical decline. There is no right or wrong anymore, just what's fair.

Is it fair that millions of Americans who overreached and borrowed more than they could afford are now being bailed out by the government and lending institutions to stave off foreclosure? Why shouldn't these people be made to pay the consequences for their poor judgment?

When my husband and I purchased our home, we were careful to purchase only what we could afford. Believe me, there are much larger, much nicer homes that I would have loved to have purchased. But, taking responsibility for my behavior and my life, I went with the house that we could afford, not the house that we could not afford. The notion of personal responsibility has all but died in our country.

I am outraged, that the country that welcomed my mother as an immigrant from Hitler's Nazi Germany and required that she and her family learn English now allows itself to be overrun with illegal immigrants and worse, caters to those illegal immigrants.

I am outraged that my hard-earned taxes help support those here illegally. That the Los Angeles Public School District is in such disarray that I felt it incumbent to send my child to private school, that every time I go to the ATM, I see "do you want to continue in English or Spanish?", that every time I call the bank, the phone company , or similar business, I hear "press 1 for English or press 2 for Spanish." WHY? This is America , our common language is English and attempts to promote a bi- or multi-lingual society are sure to fail and to marginalize those who cannot communicate in English.

I am outraged at our country's weakness in the face of new threats on American traditions from Muslims. Just this week, Tyson's Food negotiated with its union to permit Muslims to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor Day. What am I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali Muslim population working at the Tyson's plant in Tennessee . Tennessee , last I checked, is still part of the United States . If Muslims want to live and work here, they should be required to live and work by our American Laws and not impose their will on our long history.

In the same week, Random House announced that they had indefinitely delayed the publication of The Jewel of Medina, by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of Mohammed's wife, Aisha due to fear of retribution and violence by Muslims. When did we become a nation ruled by fear of what other immigrant groups want? It makes me so sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly on the principles that built this country.

I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a political policy, yet appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent article, also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went through over 20 years of history and why talking with Iran has been and will continue to be ineffective. Yet talk, with a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost our moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will not go in and destroy Iran 's nuclear program? Would we rather wait for another Holocaust for the Jews - one which they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?

As if the battle for good and evil isn't enough, now come the Environmentalists who are so afraid of global warming that they want to put a Bag tax on grocery bags in California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish something as insidious as the recycle police in San Francisco. I do my share for the environment: I recycle, I use water wisely, I installed an energy efficient air conditioning unit. But when and where does the lunacy stop?Ahmadinejad wants to wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being overrun by illegal immigrants, and the United States of America no longer knows right from wrong, good from evil. So what does California do? Tax grocery bags.

So, America , although I can tell you where the outrage is, this one middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class woman is powerless to do anything about it. I don't even feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by those who disagree with me.
