Subject: This will make you wonder...

As the great American journalist of the 1920s once stated, "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

Sometimes the best way to show how ignorant and dumbed down the general American population is, is to offer them a choice in order to test whether or not they know what’s going on around them (it’s called “reality contact”), or how aware they are of their own voluntary servitude. This is an apt little scenario on which to rest your case.

Media analyst Mark Dice offers random people their choice of a Hershey chocolate bar or a 10 oz silver bar (Worth $150) in an experiment. You have to see what happened next
! And remember, these are the people who are going to be voting next year. This is snippet of a sample, but it does make you wonder, doesn’t it?

And they all vote……...

Even if this video wasn't edited to only show people that took the candy, it's not necessarily an irrational economic decision.

A candy bar has a definite value to most people (who like chocolate). A "bar" of silver is be worth something, assuming you can find a buyer for it. That may take time and effort you're not willing or able to spend. Otherwise it just becomes a shiny paperweight.

Of course, people might also be assuming the silver is fake, or stolen, or that this is some kind of prank show or con. Can't blame people for being cautious of some random weirdo on the street with a camera.

Exactly right, anon.

A stranger comes up to me on the street offering candy, I am just walking right past him. And notice how he talks up the candy bar and calls the silver tarnished. Nope, not leading whatsoever.

This isn't even remotely a legit way of determining the average person's intelligence.

But this was cobbled together to make conservatives feel superior, which is the real tell here.

As one lady said: what can I do with a silver bar? They panned to a shop where you could possibly sell it. It's likely that a shop like that won't pay the full amount, plus who knows what kind of documentation they might require.

At least one other person questioned what the angle was of this "experiment." I suspect that most figured the silver bar wasn't really on offer, so took the chocolate. We also don't know, do we???, if anyone actually said: Yes, I'll take the silver bar.

The guy kept saying: Chocolate give-away.

So no bias shown in this film... /s

Southern CA, especially in San Diego county where this is filmed, trends GOP, and there's plenty of Trump signs out already.

Wonder who these citizens plan to vote for??
