Out of the West Texas town of El Paso ..
You cannot deny the Texans. The whole scene, a motorcycle, a back pack, the policeman, motorcycle helmet, and the three, all in the same photo!
Three armed felons crossed the US border and attempted to rob an off-duty El Paso police officer dressed in civilian clothes while he stood in front of a bank.

The plan was for two of them to grab his backpack and toss it to an accomplice on a stolen motorcycle. However, the well prepared police officer shot all of them, killing two immediately. The third was shot in both arms and bled to death before the ambulance arrived.

This is how much the US Taxpayer would have had to pay to prosecute these thugs:

            · Arrest and detention for 1 night =
$6,000
            · Transportation for deportation back to Mexico the next day =
$1,000
            · Air time for Obama to apologize in 30 minute speech =
$25,000,000

What it actually cost:         · Four .40 rounds =
$1.00
·
                                Taxpayer savings = $25,006,999.00!

Apparently They Picked The Wrong Man to Rob This Time. And There Won't Be A Next Time!
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A 911 CALL IS 4 MINUTES.
THE AVERAGE RESPONSE TIME FOR A .40 S&W ROUND IS ABOUT 1200 FEET PER SECOND.
What a great step to balancing the budget!

I LOVE TO READ STORIES WITH HAPPY ENDINGS!

"A veteran - whether active duty, or retired, is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to, and including their life." That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that.

Google says nothing about anything like this happening in El Paso, or anywhere in the US.

There is a thread on the Snopes forum which includes some pictures which were clearly used to make up this story:

The thought seems to be that this took place in Brazil.

It's really amazing how desperate wingnuts are to 1) worship guns and 2) insult Obama. So desperate that they'll take some out of context pictures and turn them into some elaborate hero story with an idiotic political lesson built in. Incredible. What kind of loser do you have to be to be so desperate for validation that you enjoy stuff like this?

So the first response to someone stealing a backpack is shoot to kill?

Is that the Confederate answer for everything?

This is how the Fascist Leaders in the Conservative 1% groom their tribalistic authoritarian Brown Shirts. Good little Germans, one and all.

The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.

Don't pick on my city! Let me go off on a rant... El Paso is right across the border from Juarez, the most deadly Mexican city during the recent drug wars, but El Paso is considered the safest city in the US (for its size). It is also a very poor city with over 25% poverty rate and 33% uninsured. 85% of our citizens are Hispanic. I don't know what gives my city its unique stats, but it is worth studying. My guess is the Hispanic devotion to the family. Hispanic families discourage their kids from moving away-even for college. So an individual's support system and community is extensive.

More OT: The drug war in Mexico continues, but the killings often don't make it into the newspapers.

I was in El Paso about 10 years ago and had the bright idea to visit Juarez.

Yikes.

As if that part of the TexMex border didn't have enough issues to deal with...

Hmmmm, yourself.

Western Journalism is allied to World Nut Daily. Judicial Watch is allied to the Scaife Foundation.

You'll have to do better than that.

Please don't feed the troll and his never ending string of Anon doppelgängers he uses to back himself up.

Shit is shit or mierda es mierda, doesn't matter if you post it in English or Spanish.

Anonymous said...

I think troll posts more than the rest of us combined, either spouting willfully ignorant nonsense or patting himself on the back.

What an utter putz.

Very fancy word, schitzengiggles - dop·pel·gäng·er
or dop·pel·gang·er (dŏp′əl-găng′ər, -gĕng′-)
n.
1. A ghostly double of a living person, especially one that haunts its fleshly counterpart.

2. Either of two people who physically resemble each other very much.

Stop using those big, fancy, college words on us ignorant folks/rubes. lol

Schitzengiggles said...

@Anon above..er.."Mike",

Yeah and so what's your point?

Anon is "Mike's" ghostly double he uses to post more inane shit to try and back himself up. He's obviously haunted.

Now run along and go back to playing with Legos in your mom's basement little troll rube.

Mike Hawk said...

@ Schitzengiggles: All this sycophantic guff by you liberal commentators on here reflects widespread ignorance amongst your ilk.

I'm not a Liberal and I don't associate with any political party but believe what you want "Mike". However you calling someone ignorant or sycophantic is like the pot calling the kettle black. Now piss off.

*note to self...quit feeding the troll.

Mike Hawk said...

(face palm) Oh Lawd, Schitzengiggles is all upset now.

I agree, you're just a regular ol' chip off the conservative block, if you will...your comments on here validate that.

So sorry if I caused you to get your knickers in a knot.

Mike Hawk

*note to self...Schitzengiggles doesn't know that his comments are very much on the LEFT side of the political spectrum.

Schitzengiggles said...

"Mike" you couldn't upset me if you tried but keep puffing yourself up there Barky. I may make comments that could be left but I've made others that would be considered right but it's really irrelevant and I don't give a shit what you think. Now as I said...piss off.
