This is hilarious.

Obama's negotiating strategy, which has confounded veteran GOP leaders, who are used to some
> give-and- take and at least a semblance of comity in talks with Democrats.

Indeed, they are used to Obama rolling over in order to desperately try to appeal to the insane GOP. Must have come as quite a shock to them when he finally refused to give in to their hostage taking during the most recent debt ceiling crisis.

Its also funny because most of these "rules" could be taken directly from the Newt Gingrich playbook and are well practiced by the GOP.

During a Maryland speech last month, Obama cited New Hampshire state Rep. Bill O'Brien's remark that ObamaCare is "a law as destructive to personal and individual liberty as the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850."

"Think about that. Affordable health care is worse than a law that lets slave owners get their runaway slaves back," Obama quipped. "I mean, these are quotes.
I'm not making this stuff up."

That calculated stink bomb was met by a chorus of gasps and boos from
the largely black audience.

Apparently making fun of your opponents' asinine statements is a hallmark of communism.

Or, HOW DARE BARRY USE OUR OWN HYPERBOLE AGAINST US??!!

I think ACA is an abomination, myself; have never ever agreed with it; and think that the chickens have come home to roost on this give-away to BigIns, BigPharma, BigHospital & BigMedDevice, who - at the behest of ObamaCo - further refined the Heritage Foundation GiveAway Act.

I never liked it. Think it sucks.

That said, who was it who permitted themselves to be led around by the nose by the Koch Brothers to rant and tirade at Town Hall meetings in the summer of 2009 to pitch numerous shrieking tantrum-throwing hissy fits over the very idea of a Public Option or Medicare for All??????

Clue: it wasn't D voters or the retarded hippies (thanks, Rahm Emanuel) on the left.

I don't believe that Obama or his handlers ever ever intended to offer a Public Option, but rightwingers were RELIABLE in being easily misled into pitching fits about it and how HORRID "socialized" medicine would be, despite reams and oodles of info highlighting how well it works in MANY other nations.

FOOLS!

Now we're stuck with this Rube Goldberg Act, which is a piece of expensive crap. With all due respect to gruaud, I don't believe that ACA is a "step" towards a Public Option, but I hope I'm wrong.

That said, rightwing vetching and whining about what we ended up with is just too much. I wish to Hell they'd STFU.

And finally: duly noted that, per usual, rightwingers love to roll in the muck & mire of incessant whining about the Darkie in the White House, the horrors of so-called "socialism," blah blah blah, but WHAT, pray tell, alternatives and other options have they offered???????

Buehler? Buehler????

Yeah, yeah, per usual: crickets.

Waste of space & oxygen.
