This one sentence editorial that appeared
in the Peoria Journal Star....speaks volumes:

"A pen in the hand of this president
is far more dangerous than a gun in the
hands of 200 million law-abiding citizens."

200 million? Not even close. Or is the NRA planning to now distribute (socialism!) guns to most of the country? It would be interesting to know which parts they picked.

And no one is worried about "law abiding" citizens. I'm personally worried about non-law abiding citizens and their access to guns. Of course, they all used to be "law abiding" citizens, and it only takes as second to cross over the line and destroy an innocent person's life forever. God forbid we take any action to try and reduce that from happening.

Yeah, the stumbling block is law-abiding.

And if gun control becomes law, you fucking gun perverts better abide.

You can go to the Peoria Star Journal, itself, to see this quote from someone called Camille Sanchez (allegedly). And then scroll down and read a bunch of comments from others saying stuff like:

"Rightwing loony toons..."

"I'm more afraid of a pen in the hand of GW Bush..."

"You realize that the purpose of the 2nd amendment was to defend the country from foreign invaders, not to overthrow a tyrannical American gov? Because that's called Treason, ladies and gentlemen.

Also, who the hell is saying people can no longer have guns? Has ANY politician even floated that idea? Someone planning on repealing the 2nd amendment?"

And so on...

Nice cherry-picking, Gunz 'n Ammo Lobby.
