Subject: This is in NYC, USA right on Madison Ave., not in France or the Middle East ...
I received this from a friend who lives in NYC (Manhattan)!
This is midtown Manhattan -- Madison Avenue & 41st Street.
I have lived in France for the last couple of years and I have yet to see a religious display like this. What gets me it's another "we hate France" or "we hate Europe" (we already know they hate immigrants and muslims)mentality from people who have not read abot other countries or ventured outside of the US.
Conservatives hate anyone who isn't white with a red neck and a bunch of white sheets in their cupboard. Funny soundin' furriners or dirty dusky-skinned folks must be dissed and mocked and kicked around by scaredy-cat conservatives.
I would say that conservatives really need to get a life, but we all know that won't happen. Why they piss in their pants over some Muslims praying is beyond me. And why they have to point out that this isn't in nasty France is equally beyond me.
This is the annual Muslim Day Parade in New York in 2009. If it's ok to have a Columbus Day parade, St. Paddy's Day parade, Puerto Rican Day parade... why get your panties twisted over one more? Oh, that's right - those nasty Muslims don't deserve the same rights as real Murkins. *sigh*
To Marc with C I am a Christian he is born and raised in the Middle East, and yes women can pray in the same mosque as men but in this case women will stand behind men (as shown in the picture) so men will not look at women while praying. This is a typical practice and nothing wrong with that from Islamic point of view, I have to add that women are preferred to pray at home.
Where do they get the nerve to think that they are free to practice their religion here in America!?!
ReplyDeleteAnd so, the point would be????

ReplyDeleteOhmigawd!!! Run fer yer lives!!! De Muzlinz is comin', de Muzlinz is comin'!!
ReplyDeleteThey're even more panties in a wad over the Muslims, than over the Gay Pride parade. Go figure.
Note that the photos supposedly taken at Madison and 41st clearly show "Park Avenue Liquor" and 42nd Street.
ReplyDeleteThey are never right about ANYTHING, EVER.
Also: they're not even real Muslims. Women and men praying together. OOh...sounds scarey.
