Fw: 2 PICTURES TELL A STORY

Here is what Obama needs set up to talk to a few
school children… Not much room for kids. Still needs to have the teleprompters.
The secret service guy in back keeps eyes out for
any terrorist-type-8-year-old with tea partying parents.

Here’s what the last guy needed.

  1. Oh fer Christ's sakes, will you leave the frikken persecution/martyr complex alone, teabaggers? If there are no teabagger spawn in the audience, it's because they're all learning how the earth was created in 6000 years by Raptor Jesus in home school.

  2. Har Har... except wrong, of course. Obama was giving a speech to assembled reporters, there are no kids in the room. When he did talk to kids he spoke off the cuff.

As for the SS agent, so what? His job is to escort the President, and he's doing that. Believe me, if one of those kids had lunged for W the multiple agents in the room would have taken him down without thinking twice.

How long is this teleprompter thing going to go on? Do conservatives not remember that Saint Ronnie, "the great communicator" was the KING of the teleprompter? Do they really not remember W using (and often misusing) one?

As for W and speaking with kids, three words: My Pet Goat.

  3. It's a no-win, anyway. If he DID have kids right there, the cry would be of indoctrinating children.

  4. In one tiny defense of the wingnuts (or more against the people around BO), WTF were they thinking that a formal news conference set up, complete with teleprompter and monitor speakers, etc., would look great in an grammar school classroom? The optics are pretty terrible, even if reasonable. The gym wasn't available?

  9. Y'know, I was gonna say it looked a little iffy, but I'm not a photog so I let it go.

  10. Not technically a Photoshop. Just a photo of the press conference Obama was holding in a different room after he spoke to the kids.

Mind you, the judgment of anyone who thinks Bush was a good speaker is highly suspect.
