On Saturday afternoon, in Washington, DC an aide to President Barack
Obama visited the Cardinal of the Catholic cathedral in Washington.
He told the Cardinal that President Barack Obama would be attending
the next mass, and he asked if the Cardinal would kindly point out
Obama to the congregation and say a few words that would include
calling Obama a saint.
The Cardinal replied, "No. I don't really like the man, and there are
issues of conflict with the Catholic Church over certain of Obama's
views.
Obama's aide then said, "Look, I'll write a check here and now for a
donation of $10,000 to your church if you'll just tell the
congregation you see Obama as a saint."
The Cardinal thought about it and said, "Well, the church can use the
money, so I'll work your request into tomorrow's sermon."
As Obama's aide promised, Obama appeared for the Sunday worship and
seated himself prominently at the forward left side of the center
aisle.
As promised, at the start of his sermon, the Cardinal pointed out that
Obama was present.
The Cardinal went on to explain to the congregation, "While President
Obama’s presence is probably an honor to some, the man is not numbered
among my personal favorite personages.
Some of his views are contrary to tenets of the Church, and he tends
to flip-flop on many other issues. Barack Obama is a petty,
self-absorbed hypocrite, a thumb sucker and a nit-wit. Barack Obama is
also a serial liar, a cheat, and a thief. I must say, Barack Obama is
the worst example of a Christian I have ever personally witnessed. He
is a narcissist and is using his speaking ability to lie to the
American people. He also has a reputation for shirking his
obligations, both In Washington and in Illinois. The man is simply not
to be trusted."
The Cardinal concluded, "But, when compared with Hillary Clinton,
Obama is a Saint."

We have the distinguished honor of being a member of a committee to raise $50,000,000. for a monument to Hilary R. Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for her two faces.
We then decided to erect a statue of Hilary in Washington D.C.'s Hall of Fame. We
were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington who never told a lie, or beside Barack Hussein Obama who never told the truth.

Muslim workers walked off the job at a Colorado meat processing plant because they demanded more accommodations for their multiple daily prayer sessions. In a move that is sure to send liberals through the roof, the company fired the Muslim employees who refused to work.The Denver Post reports that around 200 Muslim workers, most of them Somali refugees, walked off their jobs at Cargill Meat Solutions in Fort Morgan, CO ten days ago. Their beef (pun intended): the company wouldn't let them take several 10-minute prayer breaks per day.The problem is, the meat processing plant is an assembly line and when a couple of hundred employees abandon their posts to pray to Allah, the whole operation shuts down. Now try to image that happening 4 or 5 times every day. The company had been allowing the Muslims prayer schedule and even provided them with a prayer room, but changed policy recently because it was killing productivity.Keeping mind that the Muslim workers were allowed to pray during their mandated breaks and lunches. Oh, and the job starts out at $14 an hour with more experienced workers making much more.Apparently none of this was good enough and so the Muslims staged a walk out. Though these Muslim workers are Teamsters, the union didn't want to have anything to do with this ridiculous strike so the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) stepped in to negotiate.They feel missing their prayer is worse than losing their job. It's like losing a blessing from God, said CAIR executive director Jaylani Hussein. Cargill told the Muslim employees to either return to work or find another job. About 50 of them took this seriously and came back, while 150 or so did not.On Tuesday, the company fired the 150 who felt praying was more important than providing for their families. And guess what....The fired Muslims now suddenly want to come back to work under the condition they previously thought were unbearable. The company called their bluff and now they are out of luck. Cargill has a policy that any employee that is fired may not reapply for a job for six months.I applaud the company for this mass firing. These Muslims had good paying jobs that complied with all US labor laws, but they wanted special treatment that would cost Cargill money in lost productivity. If their religion doesn't comply with normal American employment, they shouldn't even be in this country.This is a common theme with Muslims in the US. They demand special food, special dress code exemptions, special prayer spaces funded by others, and special prayer breaks. No one forced them to move here. They should assimilate to our way of doing things instead of us bending over backwards to accommodate them.I have a feeling this story is just beginning, as Muslims are the Liberals' new protected class of people.

Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims).
The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being “Un-American,”dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and the president called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional.
As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise!” It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions.
Known as the McCarran-Walter Act, the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 allows for the "Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non-immigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”
The act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more.
He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979.
It is of note that the act requires that an applicant for immigration must be of good moral character and "attached to the principles of the Constitution.”
Since the Quran forbids Muslims to swear allegiance to the U.S. Constitution, technically, all Muslims should be refused immigration.

Here's a look at the site stats since May 2010. You might think that MRWD would have more visitors during election years or that there would be some sort of correlation between events and pageviews, but that does not appear to be the case.
This I find a little odd. How did "Back Door Gun Control" so overwhelmingly overtake "Obama Death List" as the most-viewed page on MRWD? I thought the deathlist was much juicier and would never fall out of the top spot.
I rec'd an email from a regular reader who didn't like that crazed right-winger guy who was chiming in with nonsense from time to time. He asked if I could ban him or block him. Well, I can't, and I don't want to. I think he demonstrated just as much of the banality and ridiculousness of RW thought as these FWDs do.
I'm still looking for some help. If anyone wants to join the MRWD team, please let me know. It's fun! We do offer up these FWDs as museum pieces, not something we present as good, bad, true, etc. No matter my reaction to these things, I rarely comment, and would expect anyone who comes aboard to administer to do the same.

No one would want to stand in the way of a qualified black woman but this is not the way to achieve "real" parity and sadly, she has to know!
How does one get 7 rows of ribbons, without any combat? Oh, she showed up for work most of the time (4 rows), is female (2.5 rows), and possibly a minority (.5 rows). Did I get that right? Admiral Michelle Howard, USN, is not in command of the US Navy, however, she was recently promoted to Vice Chief of Naval Operations, second in command to the CNO.
The selection process leading to her promotion to 4 star rank and her current position, is rather unique in a peace time US Navy. The supposed plan is to eventually promote her to Chief of Naval Operations. Admiral Howard had command of only one non-capital ship, the USS Rushmore (LSD-47), when she was promoted to Flag rank, which was unique. She eventually received orders as the Senior Military Assistant to the Secretary of the Navy, thru January 2009. It then appears that Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus mentored her thru one senior billet after another, by-passing other highly qualified combat-trained, more senior Flag Officers.
During the process, she received orders to the proper Command and Staff Colleges, in order to prepare her for each new command assignment, Mabus' careful guidance led her to her current billet. In the last 7 years, Obama has modified the selection process for Flag and General Officer, by ensuring the potential selectee's compliance with his 'Social Experiment On Diversity', as a condition for whether an officer will be considered for promotion to Admiral or General.
Over the last 7 years, Obama has relieved over 250 highly qualified and combat-trained Flag, General, and Senior Officers; some should have been relieved for cause, but many more were doing a superb job when they were summarily relieved.

The following is a TRUE story of something that happened over the
holidays that will really make you think & it could happen to any of us.
A young 17 yr. old boy was shopping in St. Cloud, MN. at a sports
store, called Sheels.
The cashier was a Muslim lady who was wearing her headscarf. The 17
yr. old was wearing a necklace with a cross on it. She told him he would
have to put his cross under his shirt because it offended her. He told
her he would not do that.
Then he told her that he thought she should take her headscarf off.
She then called for the manager. The manager came out & told the 17 yr.
old to just put his cross under his shirt and everything would be fine.
The boy again refused to do so & at that point he left the items at
the check out that he had intended to purchase & walked out of the store.
Several customers who had been in line behind him had heard the
conversation & also left their carts full of items & walked out of the
store !!
I SAY KUDOS TO THE 17 YR. OLD !!! We all know we are in some very
changing times, & given the same circumstances, I pray we would all have
the courage this young lad had.
Many Muslims are becoming very belligerent to Christians. Our Bible
class spent a some time talking about the challenge we are facing for our
first amendment right of religious freedom.(Makes one wonder what’s next ?? Are they going to try to ban the
jewelry store owners from selling any jewelry with a cross on it ???)
