subject:Fw: Fwd: FOUR MEXICANS IN A ROWBOAT

A  U.S. Navy gunboat stops 4 Mexicans rowing towards Texas. The Captain gets
on the megaphone and shouts,  Ahoy,
small craft. Where are you headed?
One  of the Mexicans puts down his oar,
stands up, and shouts, Gringo, we are
invading the United States of America to
reclaim the territory taken by the USA
during the 1800s. The entire crew on
the destroyer doubles over in laughter.
The Captain finally catches his breath,
gets back on the megaphone and asks,
Just the four of you? The same
Mexican stands up again and shouts,
"No senor, we are the last four. The
other 21 million are already there."

We've seen versions of this before. It's tediously boring and stupid.

If Mexicans were "reclaiming" their territory, it would involve only certain areas of the USA Southwest, but Mexican Americans live all over the USA these days. Of course, I'm living in reality, and RWD enjoys victimizing himself in rightwing fantasy-land where the only people he FEARS with a vengeance are those that the wealthy elite have told him to hate - it's a great distraction from how the wealthy are really the ones enjoying govt welfare but that's another story.

I'm sure RWD cannot distinguish between Mexican Americans and all of the other Hispanic Americans, who come from a variety of countries (including Spain), and who would have no such "claim" (in most cases) on the territories that Mexican Americans *might* have.

No, for RWD, it's all about brown skinned peons from "down there" who have just ruined his life simply by existing.

But, indeed, if you take this fable at face value, then those Mexicans have been pretty clever. Certainly wiser and smarter than RWD... but that's a really low bar.

How much do you want to bet that this person is just fine with the seizure of Palestinian land, and thinks the Israelis have every right to reclaim THAT territory.

I got this one in an email in early 2016. A former high school classmate of mine. I wrote back and told him he should substitute "Mexican" with "Cuban" and then see how it read. 'Cuz, 'ya see, he was a Cuban refugee back in the early 60's. And he never saw the irony.
