What exactly is "only in Texas" about this?

Only in Texas do they worship guns? Nope.

Only in Texas do they gleefully talk about the fun of shooting non-white folks and then make up fake "lectures" for them to make themselves feel big? Nope.

Hey Texas: the only difference between you and a dozen other states filled with assholes is that you have a lot more assholes.

This one's more or less true:

Of course, I'm not sure why it's "proper" to shoot someone dead, but then again, I'm not a gun nut.

The defense of justifiable use of deadly force fails far more often than it succeeds in Texas. Accoring to the law

"Asserted justification defenses of necessity, defense of another, and defense of "home and property" each requires that the defendant reasonably believe that his conduct is immediately necessary to avoid a greater harm"

Meaning you can't shoot someone simply because they are in your home. While they're are some notable newsworthy cases of Texans being acquitted due to the "protection of property" clause, they are made prominent because of they're rarity. Most DA's in Texas are competent enough to tear that defense to shreds. There is nothing that gets a DA's blood pumping faster than the possibility of a murder conviction.
While folks may be absolutely giddy at the thought of being able to legally murder someone and feeling morally superior in the process, there is no amount of property worth potentially spending 20 years in jail.
So, don't shoot people. Not even in Texas. The defense of "But the Internet said I could!" isn't as effective as your right-wing dad think it is!

This e-mail starts off with "You-all from other states."
Clearly this person isn't from Texas, or it would read "Y'all."

"REALITY is tough to understand and implement"

"...so we conservative extremists just make shit up on a daily basis. Thank goodness for Rush and FOX."

Why how nice. A bunch of rightwing Christianists who no doubt piously go to their whitey white white "churches" every Sunday feel all giddy 'n tingly about being able to *murder* some darky, which they feel is quite legal, even if it isn't.

Has the ConservaBible been re-written at last to exclude that pesky 6th Commandment??

WTF is "WTTC News"? No such station exists in Texas at all!

Someone blew a bigass hole in poor widdle Deyfon while he was going about his bidness of breaking into decent peoples' homes and stealing their stuff? Good for the old guy with the gun in Texas. Deyfon got exactly what he deserved.

And "ferschitz'? Not "murder." The legal term is "justified homicide," and the criminal charges, well, there aren't any.

So feel free to suck a big bag of horsecocks. There's nothing more pathetic than a spoiled little rich white boy trying to pretend he's all gangsta hard 'n shit while daddy is paying his college bills.

So the penalty for theft is now death?

So feel free to suck a big bag of horsecocks

Such an odd change of direction. Do you regularly engage in bestiality?

There's nothing more pathetic than a spoiled little rich white boy trying to pretend he's all gangsta hard 'n shit while daddy is paying his college bills.

I agree. Not sure what the has to do with Ferschitz though. Sounds more like the typical college Republican.

Dear Racist -
You can call it whatever you want to make yourself feel better. Murder is murder, no matter what $2 words you use. And how you characterize me so completely and totally wrong that it gave me a huge laugh. Thanks for that, at least.
