ObamaCare is Not a Sure Thing
December 5, 2012
by Phyllis Schlafly
Those who thought ObamaCare was set in concrete by Chief Justice John Roberts’ decision last June are in for a shock. December 14 is the new deadline (extended from November 16) for states to let the feds know, yea or nay, whether or not they will be setting up a health insurance exchange, which is the key to participating in the misnamed Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The esteemed commentator Thomas Sowell said it best: “It is amazing that people who think we cannot afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, and medication somehow think that we can afford to pay for doctors, hospitals, medication AND a government bureaucracy to administer it.” It doesn’t make sense.

Phyllis Schlafly was the author, so you can take all of it with a grain of salt.

The government bureaucracy that handles Medicare comprises about 3% of Medicare costs.

Phyllis, in her infinite wisdom, thinks that private sector overhead will cost less than that. Worse, she thinks that private sector overhead costs less than that now.

Draw your own conclusions.

Phyllis Schlafly is a truly remarkable woman. Before reading this column, I had no idea it was possible for a living human being to function without a brain.

This makes me think of my own RWD who spends hours each day reading columns like this, listening to radio and TV and at the end of each day he is more misinformed than he was the day before.

Shit, I knew she didn't have a brain way back in the 1970's with her anti-ERA nonsense.

And if they don't, the Feds will set one up for them! So no, wingnuts, the ACA doesn't simply have a "sorry, don't fucking feel like doing anything" clause that prevents it from being applied.

Phyllis Effen Schlafly is about the worst excuse for a "human" out there. Not only does she not have a brain, she know looks like a skeleton with a skull on top. Total perverted hypocrit who'll go down like a submarine for the highest, or possibly lowest, bid out there.

Sell out the female gender? Sure come here big boy & I'll give ya a blow job ya won't forget. Leave teh $15 on the chest of drawers by the door on your way out...
