Fw: ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT

Subject: Fw: ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT

Have a great day and may God bless

****************************
ONE MINUTE EACH NIGHT

This is the most uncertain election we as Christians have ever faced, and from the looks of the polls, the Christians aren't voting Christian values We all need to be on our knees.

Do you believe we can take God at His word? Call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders unfold? This scripture gives us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it. I challenge you to do that. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land. This election is the scariest I remember in my lifetime. 2 Chronicles 7:14. "If my people, which are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

During WWII, there was an adviser to Churchill, who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every night at a prescribed hour for one minute, to collectively pray for the safety of England , its people and peace. This had an amazing effect, as bombing stopped.

There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America .. The United States of America , and our citizens, need prayer more than ever!!! If you would like to participate, each evening at 9:00 P.M. Eastern Time (8 PM Central, 7 PM Mountain, 6 PM Pacific), stop whatever you're doing, and spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, for peace in the world, the upcoming election, that the Bible will remain the basis for the laws governing our land, and that Christianity will grow in the U.S.

If you know anyone who would like to participate, please pass this along Someone said if people really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have.

Thank you.

Please pass this on to anyone who you think will want to join us.
God Bless You!!!

It was Christians praying which stopped the Blitz?

Pity no one told all those brave RAF pilots that they didn't need to fight and die in order to save England because "prayers" were going to save the day.

Man oh man these people are nuts!

While I think abstractions are silly, I guess I can understand those having a belief system in their heads that can give them comfort, but these people are openly pushing for a theocracy that supercede the constitution. These nuts are basically attempting a coup.

There go the Christophobes, making fun at the prayer between God and His children. If this was a call for Muslims to call on their god, the GOD-haters would be ok with it. They do not know the power of prayer to an Almighty God is a very powerful and effective tool for the Christian.
Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Pray on Christians, pray on!!!!

Lemme see. So if someone here makes a critical, but rather factual, comment about this call to prayer, then that person is both a "Christophobe" and a "GOD-hater."

But what does it make the so-called "Christian-y" type, then, who wishes to resoundingly denounce all Muslims who pray??

Why is prayer an "effective and powerful tool" only for so-called "Christians"?? Why is it "wrong" (or whatever negativity that's implied) when Muslims pray? Or when Buddhists pray? Or Hindus pray? etc.

That's where your "arguments," despite nice Bible verses, goes off the rails. Might want to think about that.

Luke 20:46-47
"Beware of these teachers of religious law! For they like to parade around in flowing robes and love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces. And how they love the seats of honor in the synagogues and the head table at banquets.
Yet they shamelessly cheat widows out of their property and then pretend to be pious by making long prayers in public. Because of this, they will be severely punished."

Pray your ass off, for all I care. But this:
"We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land. This election is the scariest I remember in my lifetime."

...and you are the most desperate you have ever been in your entire life....why?

...and you are frightened out of your wits....why?

Because of a guy whose image to conservatives is entirely manufactured out of outright lies by your own echo chamber?

But, ok: Nixon was misunderstood, Reagan was the greatest man who ever lived, Bush the Elder was articulate, and Bush the Lesser wasn't a complete and utter horror show. And now you're ostensibly praying for Romney/Ryan so that things can get more worse than you could ever imagine?

I admire Jesus's teachings.

It's no secret that I have my doubts about his misguided and/or fake followers.

Isn't the Obama Biden ticket the only one with Christians?

Mormon not Christian catholic sort of Christian but not really. Plus one is a devotee of an atheist.

"...that the Bible will remain the basis for the laws governing our land, and that Christianity will grow in the U.S..."

erm, isn't this just like Sharia law?

Why should non-Christians in the USA have to live under "Christian" law based on the Bible? Christians can do what they want in their personal life, but they really need to get a grip about what goes on in public and for other citizens of USA.

I thought Tea Partiers were all about the Founding Fathers?? Who, by the way, were very clear about separation of Church & State.

What a lot of bullshit. And I agree with gruaud: WTF do Tea Partiers have to be so "afraid" of?

Fear, by the way, is one of the main tools used to manipulate people. Something to ponder.

Good points, LiberalGunner.

However, I believe the brainwashed rightwingers would whine at you that Obama is "secretly" a Muslim (except he's not), and anyway, even IF Obama is a Christian, his minister is evil, hateful and UnAmerican. So there!!

Plus, these days, worshipping known Atheist, Ayn Rand, who had no problem using "welfare" programs like Soc Sec & Medicare (which Rand, herself, NEVER paid into), has been historically re-written into the Bible as "good."

Sort of like how Orwell described how things happened in "Animal Farm." Ya gotta work hard to keep up with it all...

I wonder how many people were praying for the Soviet Union. And yet, somehow, they single-handedly ended up with half of Germany, all of Eastern Europe, and most of Berlin.
